Sully Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I've had one of those rare cases of "MUST HAVE THIS". Yesterday I saw the above LaserDisc no less on saie in Yahoo Japan. So what does a rational person think? Ummm Laserdisc, why on Earth would I want this? What does a crazy Guyver fan think? Umm does my 46inch TV have room on the stand below it..... wait what am I thinking, the Bluray can move the hell out of the way for it! So yup, I've gone and spent about 100 euro just buying a the ancient OVA on a format that is efectively dead. I'm now looking on ebay at Laserdisc players that will play ones from Japan? Am I happy? Hell yes! Quote
McAvoy Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Never owned laserdisc. Well Sully you are a true collector. Quote
guyverfanatic Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Yes, my friend, you are a true Guyver fan! Quote
xtro guyver Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 damm now that is some collecting, but given how hard its to find the vhs copy I can fully understand why you thought what the hell Quote
guyvergoddess Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 What's a laserdisc? (I have a feeling it's before my time) Quote
Sully Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 What's a laserdisc? (I have a feeling it's before my time) I'll post some pics later. The auction closed a long time ago, it has since being posted to my house. A very nice copy of the hard to get OVA with no crappy subs Quote

McAvoy Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 What's a laserdisc? (I have a feeling it's before my time) I am assuming that you know what a vinyl record looks like. So imagine that size but like a DVD or CD. Laserdisc predates DVD. Quote

Crazier Guyver fans would go out and by a Laserdisc player to watch one of the rarer Guyver movies out there Quote
