Guyver_Astray Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Hope this is the place to ask this. Always liked the character and was wondering would he have a bigger part in the fic? He seems to fade out as it progresses. Quote
McAvoy Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 This is the right forum. Atkins may get a bigger part in the Allen's Angel fanfic. But as far as Warrior Guyver is concerned, he's a supporting minor character. Remember that he was relieved by Jason as the "Guyver US handler". In turn Jason got the Warrior unit. Quote
Juggernought Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 We may even see him as activating that guyver unit (supposedly either the Guyver Supreme unit or GZ unit, can't remember which) that he has been hiding all this time at the same time they found that ancient zoalord Quote
McAvoy Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 It was never stated to be either or both. But it is presumed to be one of the two because of the ancient zoalord. Quote

(currently re-reading them now) But what is the GZ Unit exactly? Quote
Guyver_Astray Posted January 23, 2010 Author Posted January 23, 2010 Guyver Zoalord's unit. Sweet! Quote
McAvoy Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Guyver Zoalord's unit was removed but that doesn't mean that the unit itself will resurrect the Guyver Zoalord himself. In fact either a) Zoalord Reeve is a weaker Zoalord or b) the unit is a buttered down version. Even though the unit was removed it doesn't mean that the unit atkins has is that unit. Quote

I always thought that the unit Atkins had was the Guyver Supreme unit. Somehow, if he doesn't get a Warrior unit of some kind, that particular unit fit him. Time will tell, eh? Quote
McAvoy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Never stated what unit it is. All we know it is a Guyver unit and it near the Ancient Zoalord. I personally think it is the Supreme unit because the Ancient Zoalord was around Zeugma and Kron when they were killed by the Guyver Zoalord. The unit was removed by Zeugma. I need to re-read that story. What is the ancient zoalord's name anyway? I am too lazy to go look for it. Quote
Juggernought Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Solufein...also side note - it would seem Atkins no longer has the unit that was found with the zoalord. Solufein took it back. Read the older post labeled Solufein -Mysterious zoalord datafile preivew by Allen. Quote
Zoaknight Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I wonder what Solufein plans on doing with that guyver unit he took...And it would be pretty sweet if it was the Guyver Supreme unit, the one unit that beat all the other test units before the warrior guyver was created. Given the number of super powerful guyvers alive today, the guyver supreme wouldn't be that awe inspiring if bonded to a human, but perhaps a zoanoid...Chronos lost a good opportunity Quote
Sully Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 A lot of that though was the host, he knew his limits and fought well. But had to be rested a lot between tests. But as said before after many years even he broke down and became properly "Guyver" along with Guyver 0. The unit is more of a legend for it's good use and shows that a solid design is better than most prototypes. It wasn't that the Unit out powered everything. In a wey if you read into above you'll see this Unit is rather a curse for whoever gets it as it has it's own flaw in draining the host so that they needed to sit in a bio-tube for long periods of time between tests. That wasn't to subdue the host, that was so the host was usuable. This is something that will be given a lot more detail in the Time War re-write. Quote
McAvoy Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 I agree. It wasn't the unit (well the shield did help him) but the host's pure combat skill. In other words, you give that unit so some random guy on the street, he'll won't be as good as the original host. But that unit could be more useful to other Anti Chronos factions that don't possess as many Guyver units as ACTF does. Quote
Zoaknight Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Makes sense, I mean, Sho/Guyver 1 was at a big disadvantage against Guyver 2 and Guyver 3 at first because he lacked real combat experience and fighting skills. In those cases the edge went to the stronger/experienced host since the units were identical, we don't see as much of that in Warrior Guyver's universe since there exists so many different guyver units now with different combat capabilities. Yes. However, sheer skill can still top a more powerful opponent. Take for example, somehow Primitive Guyver, a standard Guyver was able to beat Life Force Guyver, a prototype Warrior unit which is about equal to a Warrior Guyver. I'm not saying you have a standard Guyver take on Dreadnought for example. There is a topic out there on a what if Warrior Guyver or Warrior Guyver 2 was able to spend 2.5 million years in the past. Both of them would almost fight Dreadnought with a small chance of success. Quote
