guyverfanatic Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Thankfully I never had to pay shipping when I ordered Shonen Ace from Kinokuniya. I don't see any shipping details or stores located in Ireland though! Yeah, that's true. Sucks that they don't have any stores in Ireland. Not enough people interested perhaps? Edit: I'll have to hit up my local Kinokuniya and see if they have the newest Shonen Ace magazine on hand. Quote
Sully Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 Yeah, that's true. Sucks that they don't have any stores in Ireland. Not enough people interested perhaps? They seem to have forgotten the whole of Europe, so my guess is they haven't picked that market to expand into yet. Quote
guyverfanatic Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Well, I went and looked around at Kinokuniya. They won't have the newest issue of Shonen Ace for another 2-3 weeks. Sorry I can't help guys. Quote

It's no problem, I should have it soon anyway. Will be buying some more through Amazon anyway over the next few months, I can afford the shipping costs and wouldn't mind having my own scans for the planned update of Stars. Quote

I remember it being around ~$50 USD per for six issue subscription through Kinokuniya. Looks like the guys at Japan Legend put it up. Only a boring chapter with no action. At least Natsuki showed. Also Agito and Shizu too! I wonder what Agito has up his sleeve... Quote
Sully Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 They have to be done every so often to keep new readers along, the comics they are published in are not like normal comics in the states. These are massive book like comics and you get 10 odd different stories from different writers and artists in one monthly book. So Takaya has to do these every so often so that someone buying the montly book reads it, or has being reading it the last few months, gets a little hooked, reads a recap and then decides to looking into getting the past books as they get more and more hooked to the story. A nessecary evil, and overall at least the story moved on in the recap and we saw Agito and Shizu in Japan. So yes, something big is building up. We've many big players all getting ready in the same area. Judging by the name of the last book this should be good! Quote
Sully Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 Latest Chapter is up on Japan Ledgend. Sho and Agito meet for the first time face since Agito stole the Gigantic From Sho! Oh October's can't come fast enough! Quote

Oh October's can't come fast enough! Damn! I wonder if they're gonna fight next issue?! They need to. Sho should power punch Agito into nothing. He's such a douche. Quote
guyverfanatic Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Looks like Agito wants a rematch with Sho. I sincerely hope Sho beats his ass into the ground! Quote
Juggernought Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I think ultimately Agito will try and fight Sho for possession of the Gigantic and will use the reasoning that he means to do something more direct about Chronos - albeit for his own ends - rather than Sho just sitting around doing nothing with all that power. In his mind only the strong deserve power, all others either get crushed in his wake or just get out of the way completely. Quote
Sully Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 As per the previous multiple warnings in this thread. DO NOT READ BELOW if you've not cought up on things in Japan Ledgends site. Looks like it's finally about to happen, Sho v Agito to the end. Tetsuro and Mitzuki captured by Shizu to insure that Sho fights to his full power. We might finally be seeing the winding up of this great story, some important long standing characters will be dead soon if this story goes the way it is going. v Fight! Quote
xtro guyver Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 This should be an interesting fight, will Sho use the gigantic and does Agito have somthing prepared for it will just have to wait for the next chapter Quote
Guyver_Astray Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Shizu is a such a tool. Sho should just get it over with and summon the Gigantic. Crush Agito and then deal with with his small army. I know, very un-Sho-like, but still. Agito has gone too far for Sho to simply let it slide. Quote
Juggernought Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I think he believes in fair fight too much. Plus Agito might say to fight in normal form to show who is the superior fighter once and for all and the winner simply takes the Gigantic unit. If he had a remover he might even say the loser loses their unit which would go to someone of the winner's choice Quote

I've always wondered what he would look like should he ever gotten a unit. Appearance wise and all. Probably help him shed a few pounds. Quote
Juggernought Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 I don't think that aspect of the guyver is shown quite clearly in the manga as it is in the fan fiction...I mean Agito may look bigger because he keeps in shape, and was already quite strong due to his Chronos training...but Sho still looks like he's got a 15 yr old body with no physical changes whatsoever. If Tetsuro did get 1 i think they will just depict his guyver form as being slim but show him as he always is. Plus he is well known to fans with that husky look of his. Quote

Forgot about that. Then what of his Guyver form? Granted he's as much a fighter as Sho was when he first activated his unit, but given the circumstances and what's he's been through, would his appearance be that much different than Sho's, or closer in resemblance? Quote
Juggernought Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Possibly his unit would take on a more sinister look as he does hate Chronos with a passion because of what they've done to Sho, his sister and himself. Plus he'd be more inclined to fight more so than Sho would...i suspect he does hate the fact that he is unable to do anything more damaging because he doesn't have that kind of firepower. Quote

Zoaknight Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I've got caught up with latest Guyver manga and the fight between Sho and Agito is certainly getting interesting! I knew Sho had improved but he actually drew first blood on Agito, completely caught him by surprise and took off his arm and leg ! That'll give Sho quite the edge if he pushes the advantage and doesn't let Agito reattach the limbs (they'd grow back on their own eventually of course, but not in time to help him in this fight...Though this all depends on how far Sho is willing to go in this fight...Agito is serious about killing him & taking the Gigantic afterall, if Sho doesn't take him down he'll just keep coming back for more ). Also, I doubt that the Libertus Zoanoids Agito assigned to distract Aptom will hold him back for long, he'll probably absorb them, gain their advanced abilities, and head over to the Mansion to take care of Griselda and her troops. Agito's pretty arrogant for thinking Sho wouldn't be willing to face him without Aptom's backup, its he who likes to fight dirty, not Sho. Quote

Zoaknight Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Isn't this the first time Aptom's faced the Libertus though? I guess ya have a point though, Agito's pet scientist was once one of Chronos' top researchers, so it is possible they might have Anti-Aptom enzymes on top of all those other wild abilities of theirs, guess we'll have to wait and see.
