I'm not sure if its been answered or not, but do the hosts of Acear's have to de-activate them to eat and drink? Or do the Acear's provide this through their HSL systems?

And I'm guessing because they heal damage done to their hosts as well, that a person wearing one, would not age also, correct?

Id presume the HSL would provide them with all the nutrients needed...and yeh you'd think they they wouldnt age while wearing the Acear...but then when they take it off would the aging process resume as normal? surely there would be some side effect?

Think of it as similar to putting on a suit of armor. when it is unequiped you are normal. When it is on you have full access to its powers. So i think that when the unit is activated then it partially gives you that guyver effect. Things like enhanced strength, peak level condition, etc

No more than you would expect from an exo-suit.

Just like the ACTF Power Armors.

yup, and terribly more efficient, durable and flexible in functionality as well.

though the hyper aceaer does bond slightly to the user, and thus is a little more efficient in healing abilities. so it MIGHT do some minute changes, but i have no idea.

Do Acear units have a shiel of some kind, whether it be body or barrier? It was mentioned that an attacked slammed into Guyver U.S.'s Acear shielding and was then stopped by his pressure cannon shield.

All guyvers can form a pressure cannon shield. The Acear has a built in body shield that helps dampens attacks and increases durability. Makes up for its below guyver level regeneration rate.

shielding on the standard Aceaer by itself sucks. i htink it gets slightly more powerful than that when bonded to a unit, but its when bonded with a Warrior unit where they really shine, since their body shields merge with the warriors shield to make it stronger.

Incidently, I just thought of something. Is it possible that the Grakkens somehow got a hold of their version of a Gigantic unit which explains the near-Gigantic likeness? They just simply copied many of the systems, and possibly they couldn't copy the shields and power boost. I wonder if the Grakken can merge with a Gigantic unit.

Or maybe the hosts themselves are freaking huge?

They may be huge, but their size wouldn't explain the third control medal layer like a Gigantic.

They use modified units, basically reconfiguring the Units for their own use. The third ring the modifier, adapting the CM technology to the Grakkens and making them compatable with their own technology, such as the Destroyer Armor.

So similar to the Gigantic in terms of augmenting abilities but that is as far as that goes.

Remember also the Grakkens never really take their armors off, it's pretty much perminent.

And yes, the Grakkens are huge, they're units don't make them much bigger than they would have been unarmored.

Could a regular Grakken merge with a Gigantic unit? The third control medal ring may get in the way I think. B8ut that would be interesting though. A Gigantic Grakken would be 4x, and a Destroyer Gigantic Grakken would be 6x or 8x depending on how you viewed the Destroyer armor.

No, the Gigantic interfaces directly with the Unit CM which becomes the top two layers of the Gigantic CM. So has to fit perfectly.

The Grakken CM is a different configeration so they could not work with the existing Gigantics.

But they do have limited access to Creator technology so they might adapt the Relic technology, now that they've seen the power of the Gigantic, for an all new type of Destroyer Armor but the Gigantic took a year to form naturally and they would be doing it pretty much the same we would so it would be a few years before they get their own version of the Gigantic at the earliest.

Well consdering in the first story they the Grakken saw the Gigantic. Considering that the Gigantic is within their own technology level, the Grakkens should be able to reproduce something similar to it.

On the other hand, you are right it'll be awhile since it is currently early March 2000, and the Grakken was first encountered in October 1999.

Off subject, I hope in Chronicles, you guys will spread out the stories alittle so that not everything is happening in three to four months. Hell, ACTF went from a single know Guyver to dozens of Guyvers that are far more powerful than he was.
