*zeo Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Basically there would be less redundancy since there would be no need to maintain seperate systems. But otherwise there wouldn't be much of any power increase. Dreadnought's main power limitation has always been the fact the host body is only human. The HSL system is limited only by what the host body can handle. Improving the Unit efficiency won't really change that so it'll be more like 28x with the unit improvement by merging the Warrior Gigantic. Remember Dreadnought is really a 40x character, he only operates at 25x because that's the most his body can handle continuously. Most of Zagam's increased power comes from his Lycanlord conversion, which eliminates the human body power cap, and the Red Matrix as Allen has stated. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 so basically a more resilant(sp) body= higher power level Quote
McAvoy Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Sort of like a Guyver Zoalord. More powerful the base person is whether it be a zoanoid or a zoalord, the more powerful as a Guyver he would become. If there is a power limitor or something inside the Guyver unit, and you get rid of to make it as powerful than a Guyver Zoalord, the host would fry in a fraction of a second. Quote
W'Kar Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 Or be eaten alive, but you get the point. In the case of W'Kars it is why their body changes slightly. Take a look at Temporal and Necro Reproduction datafiles? Odd that the hosts all have black eyes, isn't it? Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 indeed but i fort the change in body would have been more physical instead of the eye change like increase body mass and size Quote
W'Kar Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 The slightest DNA modification can have drastic changes to a being. I think it's chimps that only have a 2% difference in their DNA from humans. Or something close to that anyway. Regardless, it's a very thin line. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 oh ok mybad...some people ud fink was chimps lmao Quote
McAvoy Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 oh ok mybad...some people ud fink was chimps lmao Huh? Well isn't the whole concept behind W'Kar and the Reproductions. That the unit and host become one and the same? Maybe not as much with the Reproductions, but Anubis has already shown that he has incredible power even in humanoid form. He is easily the same level he was at as W'Kar. The unit fully integrated itself with the host body even without the armor. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 McAvoy it was a joke...i was saying some people you would think they were chimps...dispite the 2% difference in dna Quote
McAvoy Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 I knew it was a joke. I was having a hard time reading it that's all. There are alot of people most religious folk or just people with huge egos that hate the idea that we're so close to chimps or evolved from something similar. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 lol oh mybad im stil doing my best to to type correct...im all for evolution there no way u can deny the facts...im not a religious man but whose not the say god created everything in the knowlegde they would evolve... sorry a lil off subject Quote
McAvoy Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 That would be called Intelligent Design. The universe is so perfect, and even the way we evolved on this planet is just amazing. Think about it, without a moon, no life could survive on this planet. If the planet was off a little on it's orbit around the sun, life as we know it owuld not be here. The fact how we evolved involved so many factors, that scientists are still finding evidence that we needed everything varying from eyesight and eye design, to brain size, to thumbs, to vocal chords, to a developed part of the brain where invention is located. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 indeed...everything had to be spot on...kinda makes you think it *COULD* have been devine intervention...but i dnt like the idea of someone that powerful and influential yet impossible to prove so i chose the scienfic path Quote
McAvoy Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Only way to know is if you die. I think that's what Anubis is doing with the Lycanlords, tampering with their evolution. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 indeed it is... hell yeh he is...even Zagams doing his fair share to interupt natures flow...id hate to be in sarahs shoes right now Quote
McAvoy Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Has anyone find it odd, that Zagam was disguising himself to follow a female named Sarah O'Conner? Anybody? Aside from the fact that is the mother of John O'Conner from the Terminator series, the leader of the human resistence. But also the last name is of the same as Jason's. Zagam's old self? Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 lool oh damn yeh im sure by far thats no coinsident...lol Quote
Juggernought Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 One thing i find interesting, back in the caribbean evolution is something people believe in but to a certain extent...Evolution of the mind, body etc...drastic changes such as from ape is highly rejected, if evolution occured why is there still apes around? Anyway...beyond all that, perhaps sarah is related to zagam in more of a parallel universe sense. Maybe his 'sister' just with a name change. Quote
*zeo Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 One thing i find interesting, back in the caribbean evolution is something people believe in but to a certain extent...Evolution of the mind, body etc...drastic changes such as from ape is highly rejected, if evolution occured why is there still apes around? Because evolution never stops and not all species follow the same evolutionary path. Just like some became apes, others became chimps, others became monkeys, etc. Even with our more immediate ancestors there were divergent species like the Neanderthals, etc. Most of them disappeared because they were all in direct competition with each other and when species compete then there can ultimately be only one but we don't compete with Apes, etc so they are still around. As for Sarah, No comment Quote
W'Kar Posted June 19, 2007 Author Posted June 19, 2007 Well isn't the whole concept behind W'Kar and the Reproductions. That the unit and host become one and the same? Maybe not as much with the Reproductions, but Anubis has already shown that he has incredible power even in humanoid form. He is easily the same level he was at as W'Kar.The unit fully integrated itself with the host body even without the armor. Yep. The repductions do so but to a far lesser extent. The more powerful a True W'Kar gets, the closer the bond becomes between host and unit. Many of the W'Kar systems are part of the host and not the armor itself, which is why True W'Kar are dangerous even without the armor active. Anubis himself is approximately 25X without his armor. Yeah, I know. O'Conner and O'Conner, odd huh? Either few people were catching that, or just didn't speak up about it. Yes, her name is a bit of props for Terminator (I liked the series). Quote
McAvoy Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Is it the W'Kar element that is doing the merging between host and unit or is it the unit itself doing it? Quote
W'Kar Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 That'll be revealed further in the later fic. Suffice to say it's both of them really. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 hmm...so what happends if/when the host and unit do finally become one??... Quote
McAvoy Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 He'll be godlike. Allen said that the base W'Kar unit without the element is 40x. 40x times 100x W'Kar Element equals 4,000x or 400,000 men. But that doesn't include various abilities such as the W'Kar element's mlti-dimensional abilities, and the Warrior Rage. Quote
