Hey again. It's been a long time since I've posted anything, but I've been cheacking the board whenever life gives me a chance. I've been wondering what is going to happen with the fan fics. I know there has been a major rewrite going on and Allen's back writing. But I'm curious about the general Warrior Guyver Fiction. Is there going to be anymore stories, or are the stories on hold until the rewrite is completed? I've enjoyed the rewrite but I would love to find out several of the plot points left hanging. After all we don't know what happened to Alkanphel, or who's invading Earth.

What's going to happen in the future?

Usually the future does.

But enough sidestepping the facts.

I can't personally speak for the main fic, since the main writer is now gone, and it's being picked up by James... but I have a currently unfinished fic, that definatly isn't ending anything.

Getting back into writing after such a long peroid of time without doing anything, is tough, but it is coming back. Recent events have gotten me more excited about working on things again, and hopfully it sticks.

Thanks for the reply Matt. I like your stories as well in fact on of my favorite characters is Robo Guyver (although I'm not to fond of the name). I've been wondering if his new nanite enhancment will give him eternal youth like the guyvers, as well as if he's actually a guyver (immune to telepathic control) or just an enhanced human.

I thought Sully was writing the rest of the Seven Days of Hell fic before he left for good. I have a lot of questions that have been driving me mad, and about 80% of them are all tied to his main story line, like is the invasion at the end of the last fic the creators from that universe or that of WG2's universe come to reclaim their stuff. Plus who is that damn cloaked man? What happened to Alkanphel and how powerful is he going to be? What's Natasha's abilities going to be? Are the Vampire Zoalords from the Nova story line the remains of Elera's people or a parrellel bread of Zoalord? Are there other zoaform breads left from the Creator's projects here on Earth? What's the deal with Primitive Guyver? And last but not least what's the deal with Zoalord Shizu? Is the Guyver Three Shizu a clone or is she from a another universe? And that's only what I can think of, off the top of my head. So as you can tell I'm a big fan and I've deffinatley been paying attention to the plot lines. If Sully is really done then hopefully he can fill us in on all the secrets as a last parting gift!

It doesn't appear that Brian will be doing any more writing for the fan fiction. But I already know the plot for the remaining story line so will be continuing the fiction when I get the chance to write it.

Consequently the general rule for answering future story line still stands.

Though I can tell you things that have already been revealed in the fiction.

Matt can answer about Robo Guyver. . .

The Vampire Zoalords were the enemies of Elera's people and not of the same bloodline. . . Hmm, lifeforce sucking zoalords, now where have we seen something like that before?

Primitive Guyver is the oldest Guyver on the planet, having been around since the Time War incident. . . So basically a really old Guyver, what would someone like that be capable of? What could he be up to?

The F-G3 is not from another universe! . . .

I believe you can figure out who the cloaked man is on your own. . .

I can't yet tell you who's invading in 7 Days but due to the Barrier that isolates the WG universe from the other universes would prevent an invasion from the WG2 universe Creators.

I've read and re-read the ficts but I can't figure out who the Cloaked Man is. I have lots of theories but nothing sollid. He could be a Zoalord from the Ancient times (perhaps the Zoalord that helped Zeugma), Guyot resurrected, He could be a rogue Zoalord from Chronos (My first thought on this one, was Kron but he was fighting Zues in New York when the Bio-Titan was attacked by the Cloaked Man. The only other Zoalord capable of a Cyclone attack is Imakirum, but he's loyal to Alkaphel), maybe I'm missing something but I can't picture any of the Guyvers with Zoalord like powers joining the Grakkens.

As for the Primitive Guyver, My main question about him is why is he remaining in the shadows, why not openly declare himself? Or at least reveal himself to the other anti-chronos guyvers?

Another thing I'd love to see is a story line based around the Primitive Guyver and his past. I would love to see the life story of him turned into a whole story line. I've been curious about the ancient time between the time the Creator's left and when the first guyver was activated.

Okay enough of my ranting. Basic point I LOVE THE WARRIOR GUYVER STORY LINE!!!! PLEASE DON'T STOP WRITING!!!!!

Well don't worry, we're still writing.

You're very close to the answer for the cloaked man, maybe you should read the Manga for some more clues?

As for Primitive Guyver, the simpliest answer is because he's not ready to reveal himself.

His origins are also pretty simple. Here's a recap. . .

The fiction keeps with the Manga up to the point the Creators tried to destroy Earth with the moon after the Guyver 0 incident. Unlike the Manga though they had second thoughts and returned to find the Earth survived the attack.

The Creators then started the Warrior Project to try to learn to control the Guyver effect.

But their worse fear came true and a Guyver Zoalord was created resulting in the Time War event with WG.

Primitive Guyver was one of the Guyvers created to help fight the Guyver Zoalord but unlike the others he avoided having his unit removed before the Creators finally left Earth for good.

He has since lived as an immortal Guyver among regular humans.

And if I didn't make it obvious enough before I'll just come out and say just like the zoanoids were the source of legends of werewolves and other such creatures.

The Zoalords left behind by the Creators were the origins of the ancient pagan gods of legends.

So in all that what do you think PG was up to?

And what could he be possibly up to now?

I don't know enough about the Primitive Guyver to even guess what he's been doing. We know that he posed as a god at least once and that he's studied virtually ever type of martial arts style in the world. But like the ancient Zoalords and Zoanoids had to have been wiped out by something. I figure either he was like Van Helsing, traveling the world killing the 'demons' or they themselves wiped each other out with their constant wars with each other. I was just saying it'd be cool to see some more of his back story in the future. It doesn't even have to be a story thread dedicated to him. I just love to here more about the older civilizations and how they influenced the progress or lack of progress of mankind in general. Like there are several myths in history that haven't been addressed at all. For example 'The Little People' (or Leprechauns), The Creek Gods, The Egyptian Gods, Dragons, The Norse Gods, Even the Aztecs, Myans, or Native American mythos. I love it when human history and mytholigy is incorperated into something defined by science instead of magic and superstition. Similar to Stargate SG-1 or Anne Rice's Mayfair Chronicles. I love their retakes on mytholigy.

My own opinion on some of these possbilities would say that dragons were probably some sort of zoanoid. Greek and Norse gods may have been sightings of Zoalords and their abilities. Native American and possibly Egyptian gods were zoanoids that were born after ages of blood-line thinning. That's just me though. But really, you're guess is as good as mine.

I'd love for a story line about the 'Little People' to be told. Are they a Dwarfish Zoalord clan or just a mutation of another Zoabreed? Not to mention, the Elves. As the myths go, some were hostile by nature but some were benivelent and even helped mankind. Now of coarse these could have been Elera's people but I still love to see it, plotted out in the story line. Perhaps a flash back of Elera's Uncle before he was killed.

The general point of this thread isn't to tell you writers what to write about, just to tell you what I'd love to see and let you know I'm still a huge fan of the site in general. I hope the Warrior Guyver Fan Fictions continue clear into the next Century. And yes I'll still be reading them even then. Even if I have to poccess someone's computer to do it.

I don't have access to almost any of the Manga stories but I could hazard a geuss at it; I think it's probably either Guyot, or Imakarum (not completly under Alkaphel's control). Although this might not be possible. I Honestly don't have enough background information to make an educated geuss.

Does anyone else have any ideas about future takes on Mytholigy? I'd love to here them. At first I thought I'd like to know more about Dragons but now I think some of the less popular Myths would be more interesting. Could be it's the Irish in me coming out

Well Fairies, Mermaids, living Islands, and satyrs have been taken care of in the manga. Look at theguyver.net (I'm no traitor to warriorguyver). They ahve a database that suggests that the Isle of Silha may be inhabited by a great deal of mythological beast that may have escaped over time and thus became the things of legend. Possible early prototypes.

****SPOILER****

Your Guyot theory is on the money. Though how he survived having his zoacrystal ripped from his head is beyong me at this time.

I don't know... If I was leaning in the direction of the manga my ideas on dragons would be a furthered mythos of dinosaurs. We know the advents created a few after the dawn of mankind (or at least re-created them). Maybe they left a few behind and they continued to survive just long enough to be mentioned in early spoken lore. This spoken lore wove its way down the grapevine like some nefarious wave bent on breaching the coast of written lore, making its way into our hearts to this day.

Just a thought.

You could have some really gnarly mutation projects started by the advents to try to further extend the reaches of the dinosaur project as the ultimate warrior, seeing the human possibly as a lost cause in their long line of failures in the Earth projects. Heh!

Posted

Now that's funny. Cause that would be pretty cool to have a race of beings based solely on dinosaurs but with them becoming more intelligent, maybe taking on a few human qualities, but still more formidable. They wouldn't have to form shift thus making them easy to create. Then you have to think that they would be battle ready almost at birth.

Though when you think about that, if the Creators were ever to use them as aweapon they wouldn't be that covert. They would look ready for war, while humanity looks frail in the eyes of other beings. This misconception allows for Zoanoids and Zoalords to have an upper hand. Look at Guyver 3s battle with Richard Guyot in Agitos mansion. Guyver 3 had no clue Guyot was a Zoalord and thus underestimated his abilities.

It's all about strategy.

You have to at least attempt to think like a creator, and/or another alien species. Just because something is small doesn’t mean its not powerful. I mean you could say, in the future, create a nuke that would fit in the palm of your hand, just because it was small doesn’t mean its still not going to kill.

Oh even better real world example! In Vietnam people would send their children out into the middle of soldiers strapped and loaded with bombs. These kids were thought not to be a threat so they were allowed to mingle with the soldiers, and then boom. But this only works once.

But yeah, the main point is just because a guyver is smaller than a dinosaur doesn’t mean its more covert. In war, you learn to shoot the little kid before he explodes, and then nail his mom in the bushes with your trusty M-30 Carbine.

If the creators were to opt for Dino's it would have to be for a more basic reason. Either more bio-kinetic energy production due to mass and size, or something along the lines of liking the baser instinctual intellect of the creature over the calculated and cunning human. It would be more of an attempt to remove the Guyver equation from the Unit-G.

I could run with this one for hours.

Posted

I like the way you look at that. But then, if Dinos became the more used project here. What would be the result of bio-booster fusion. What's your theory on that? Would they be more controllable or because of something would they be more of a a menace?

Posted

Yeah the translation said it was a zoanoid that was specially made to be many times more powerful than a normal zoanoid.

So indeed the dragons could have been zoanoids.

Though with zoalords like Khan taking on godzilla size battle forms it could also have been zoalords that inspired the myth.

Posted

Wow, that is something. I wish I had some english translated copies of the manga. I surely do miss reading and veiwing the panels. ::sigh::

But those are some huge battleforms. That's a pretty nice mass increase, but then again seeing ome of the zoalords forms they get pretty big too. What the deal with that?
