Added a new frames setting for the board so there is a link back to the main site and some transformers avatars. Next Leigh's site has been moved to the WG.com sever along with the old versions of the WG-Fic site. Oh yea and the FAQ section has been finally updated for WG.com.

Whats due to be added: A good few data files. Two fixed data files. Two updated data files. Seven Day's part 3. New edited version of Phoenix Rising, and some other fics. Updated calendar will have more fics linked into it. Lots of fan-art. Updated site will be Netscape 4 friendly.

WG.com will soon be moving to a new domain provider. Which is good news to all those who realise this is a SLOW server we are on now. As such there will be an unknown period of down time which could be as much as a week (possibly more). Hopefully this wil not be the case As the whole site will be moving including this messageboard two weeks before it is due to be transfered I will be locking down the message board to clean it so its easier for me to move. As such, old accounts no longer used by members will be deleted. Any 0 post accounts will be deleted older than a month. ALL PM's including saved PM's will be deleted. Due to the fact is been hard getting the new board up and running with data from this board we have decided to lock this board on Tripod (one of the problems is that the board here to so large to transfer to WG.com). We really don't want to start a fresh but if we have to we will. We'll be deciding what action to take on Sunday the 2nd of March. What's up with the mass of repeat boards? I see the original up on top and the new ones on the bottom.

I've made this into a new section for the board as at the mo, I tended to post these into General and they get lost. Anyway this section isn't for spamming James and myself for info on Data Files etc. This is so in the future you guys know whats planned in line of updates and whats going on with the site. Questions here should mainly be website related. Requests for info are best put in their respective sections of the messageboards. Though if it's a question on "Can you please let us know if your going to update X section of the site" this is valid. Also if you wanted to help out and work on a section of the site this is the place to ask and arrange for it to happen.

With the merger of the board I'd like to welcome MegaMcTaco to the mod team who well help with looking after the board

I just posted a FAQ for the newbs thread but I can't edit it to add in more stuff. Why can't we edit our posts?

Due to College getting really busy I will not be updating the site until some time after I move to England. From some time in mid May I will not be contactable (phone lines will be cut then) and until I get a phone line in my new place which realistically will be some time in July I'll not be able to look at the site never mind working on it. Note: Could be longer until I get a new phone line, depends on BT (main phone line company in the UK)...... Hope they are better than 4 years ago......

I created a category for nonsense pages. these are pages that have been written with no concern for facts or truth. these pages very often will be utter nonsense and are designed to get a few chuckles. so far only I have written any nonsense pages. Anyone can. When somebody wants to write a serious page on something that already has a nonsense page, the nonsense page can be renamed. so maybe 'godzilla' would be renamed to 'godzilla_nonsense'.

This is more for the old timers out there. The old version of the forum (bascially has it was around 2004) will be closed down for awhile. Some point over the weekend I'll be coverting it to a more modren version like this board and removing it alltogether. Reason for this is because it's being attacked by bots a load and it's a pain to admin. It's either update it or cut it off. And well cut it off isn't an option because it has a copy of my old guest book on it etc.

Hopefully my internet access as home which came back last night will continue working! No internet = no fun! Anyway I've a week off coming up. The plan is to use some of that nice free time watching movies and updating the site. Hopefully James will be around and we can arrange some goodies too to go with the finishing off the new template and making it work fully throughout the WG-fic site. Shouldn't be hard to guess the targets, finish the Data Files section and Art work along with the other fic writers section too.
