Hi all, To decrease the amount of admin I've to do I'm going ahead with a project to merge the WarriorGuyver.com PhpBB3 forums (there's 2 there I've to keep up to date to stop spam bots....... etc) to that of the Japan-Legend.com forum. Basically this type of board (IPBoard) is a lot easier to admin and manage. Overall the only changes most of you will notice are the following new sections opening: Inside Section 9: Video Games Forum Below Section 9: WarriorGuyver.com (name of the boxed area) Warrior Guyver Discussion GWOTG Discussion The Basement Will contain archived sections of the board from WG.com th…

At somepoint over the coming week I'll be updating the forum to the latest version of PHPBB. Not much should change overall but new users will be once again able to sign up on the site. Sorry to those that have tried to register but are unable too. This will be fixed! Has for a new Guyver theame for the messageboard I've not had time to work on this yet. But we'll see over the Christmas break.

The GSF site has been added to this wonderful recourse of Guyver we call warriorguyver.com. I would just like to say, YEEEES!!! Okay enough with the whole being ecstatic thing. This hopefully will become the base from which the GSF grows into a lucrative environment once more. The main purposes for the site at the moment though is archiving the former works of the GSF as to preserve them for future generations.. All hail Guyver! Check it out why don't you?

Has part of the WG.com redsign and updates to both it and the WG-Fic letting you guys have a heads up on some more changes. Guyver 2's Playground will no longer be on the front page but part of the Guyver Fan Archive. The Archive section of the site will be changed to have archives of old Guyver sites so Leigh's site will naturally go there as top site in the list. Along with Guyver 2's Playground there will be 3 verions of the Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction site there. The 2 versions located in the old site section and the current one that's on site now. We are currently taking submission for the new Guyver Fan archive. These submission will include either fan art, or works of Guyver Fan fiction. I don't really have any where else to post this... So yeah... Guyver Strike Force site updated!!! Added a crap load of stuff to the archive section. Man I need an artist so I can toss up a few more data files! Check out, Breaking Free, GuyverWarrior's Confusion, and The Acrimony Remittance in the role play section... A new section to WG.com called Guyver WebRing has been added.

Normally I'd post this in the website update thread but not everyone reads that section compared to the main section of the messageboard. I'm approcing a crossroads that will in the end make big changes to Japan-Legend.com so am looking for input from people who visit the site no matter if they are new to the website or old timers. Here's the problem, the Japan Legend Wiki does not work nor has it in a long time. I've being working on it a lot and there is a decent chance that the Wiki will never be recovered. That leaves me with some hard choices that need to be made as we're now approching a year since Jess♥ left the project and I simply can't have a website w…

So me and Ryuki have been the only ones editting for a few months now... And there were few others editors before that. How can we get others to edit? HOw can we make you guys edit? It's a little boring when no one else edits... Should we make it more clear that users can edit? Should we make this forum stand out more? ..

I found a catch of old Guyver.Net icons for the forums that used to be there. I've updated the board today with ones that were relevant to Japan Legend As you can see though there wasn't enough of them to fill all the sections. If anyone would like to see more / different ones or would like to create something new and custom for the board you're more than welcome and can post it on this topic.

The site currently runs on version 4 of the Board. V5 was just released and as part of renewing the license is now avilable. One of the up coming weekends I'll be pushing it through.

I've found soemthing nice I'd like to change the board too. Soo at some point between this weekend and not if you find the messageboard turned off don't be shocked, I am working on it

I'm going to be upgrading the messageboard to the latest patch this Sunday. So if you're visiting then and see it down it means I'm workin on it Overall the site should be the same when it's back up and runnin.

On Saturday coming - The 8th the messageboard will be disabled while it is backed up, deleted and then rebuilt on a MYSQL v % database. This is needed to keep the board up to date. Sorry for the Inconvenience, if you've any questions please ask them in the WarriorGuyver.com section of the board.

As you might have noticed I've updated the ole messageboard to a newer version. Porblem with this is older themes are now gone so will this weekend have to look for some new ones. Does anyone have any requests (something you've seen on another board for example)?

there is a new version of PHPBB released (HOPEFULLY!!! with more anti-spam bot etc). The messageboard will be updated over this weekend as part of the rollout of updates to WG.com

Update didn't go as planned. The old trick of backing up the database and restoring it on the new one didn't do it either as it errored due to different SQL versions. At the moment I'm simply happy we can post at the meoment. Avatars seem to have gone AWOL for the moment. That though isn't a major thing, being able to post is more important. I'll look into avatars and missing Guyver smiles in the weekend coming. Thankfully I've a backup on a different computer at home so can get the old settins from it and apply it to this new board. Edit : Avatars are back!
