Hi folks, does anyone have scans of (or can scan) "Around the Guyver World", the lore and comics featured in the manuals of the original Bio Fighter Collection vinyl kits? They're the last major bit of Guyver media with important lore that I've never fully seen online. I've found a handful of scans on MyFigureCollection, and two of the manuals scanned on an old Japanese website, but we're missing a lot. Major segments include "Chronos Report with Masaki Murakami" (of which excerpts from 5 articles have been translated and included in the Master Files) which features major background lore and events for Chronos as well as Murakami himself, and "新・戦え! ガイバー野郎", a silly …

As of December 15th, 2025, Kadokawa has renewed the Trademark rights for Guyver. This is something that has to be done every 10 years in Japan... Which the last time they did it, the Manga was actually still being published. https://chizai-watch.com/t/2025139888?q=kadokawa&d=20251215&a=株式会社KADOKAWA It's a bit of interesting news that doesn't actually tell us anything about what is going on with the Manga... Only that Kadokawa is still invested in owning the franchise and controlling what various products can use it.

We used to have scans of the Chuang Yi covers on the old wiki's merchandise page (still visible on the wayback machine) but the higher res versions didn't get saved, so I've scanned in my dust jackets for anyone that might like to get a better look at them. Gigantic Dark is officially Figma #680...! Which means we could see a much earlier release date than most of us ever hoped for, since Guyver Gigantic is Figma #671! The official Max Factory site already has a listing for Figma #681 with a release date of December... While that doesn't mean they release them in order... It's usually not too far off as the page translation says pre-order is coming soon! So they might be waiting for the new 40th Anniversary event for it's official pre-order and release date announcement.

A short video released by Max Factory advertising the re-release of the Guyver 1 Ultimate Edition Figma at the upcoming 40th Anniversary Event seems to suggest that the new Figma of Gigantic Dark might not be too far behind...

Goodsmile has offically now put up the re-release for preorder! Now's your chance to get him for retail price! Pre-order is now open, and runs until May 6th, 2026! With an expected release date in November 2026! So far, only Goodsmile and Goodsmile US sites have it up. don't know if other distributors will get in on it yet. We have gotten our first early color image release of the new Guyver 3 Figma. It still says Pending, so we're likely still around 6 or so months before we hear about a pre-order... but they could also rush this one out too... So normal routines may not apply. But they are really getting everything ready to make the new 40th anniversary event stand out.
