No problem, I'm happy to know these were new to someone besides myself! Yeah, I definitely think it's a matter of picking your poison kinda thing for the end of 7 - I did like how they gave a story reason for the Zoanoids to be standing still when the blast came in that they were terrified as all hell but you're 100% right in that the final version had more dynamism to it. I re-watched 8 and I gotta say that I'm real glad that Aptom's voice got a whole lot more energetic in the final cut (I don't think it was Issei Futamata in the recalled version but if it is the director dropped the ball big time), though it did seem kinda fitting to have a flat vocal performance paired with some decidedly flat animation for what turned out to be a pretty underwhelming fight. At least the Zoanoid Buster still got to do some heavy lifting in the original even if the visual result was super janky!

Yeah, all of the old posts with embedded youtube links are still visible to me. It's the newer posts that don't show up. Could this be a plug-in thing as I've never used any? When I hover the mouse over, It has this message saying "It looks like the webpage at https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/pLZ_za4a-88?feature=oembed might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address."

That's sad😢I think that be be a little of time consuming and a huge traffic consuming option

This one has to be an issue with your setup... I just tried my Edge, which I never use, and all youtube videos on the forum show up properly.

I think invision board has removed that ability... But they have given us another option. Down at the bottom right of the text box you will see an "Other Media" clickable small menu where you can choose "Insert Image from URL". It will pop up a small window with a spot to put in the URL.

I'm also having the same issue, but more on youtube videos. I can't seem to see the embedded youtube links, and only shows up as a box with an icon of a cloud in the middle with three dots inside. I'm using Microsoft Edge.

Yeah, it really sucked for people back in 2005-2011 when the BFC Max figures were being released... Online ordering wasn't as easy, and advertising to the west was not really done. Finally being able to get a Gigantic Guyver at launch prices is going to be a big boon for a lot of people now. Sadly, a lot of people slept on the newest Guyver 1 to go with it, and are either paying the price for it... or buying the newly released bootlegs... Which are still not great, but are a huge step up over the malformed original Guyver 1 Figma bootleg.

200 I can do for the Guyver Gigantic. More than that, I may be priced out. Hope not though, because that thing is looking to be my grail.

Is there other way around to post a huge number of linked thumbnails? Because I want to share a lot of photos. EDIT: tried this in Firefox and Chrome.

A great addition to the collection - Lamborghini Countach LP400 in 1:12 scale by Kyosho. New model they started shipping in the beginning of this year. EDIT: huh? I'd say closer to $200 USD. The new Guyver 1 was around $80-90 with a little bit of accessories. If Guyver 3 has similar accessories to the old figma ( and it looks like it does have the folded arms), will likely be around $120-130-ish. So considering the extra figure size, and extra accessories, based on the BFC MAX figure, does increase the price significantly over the others. So $200 seems about right. Would like to see it a bit lower if they are nice about it.

What do you think the damage is gonna be on Guyver Gigantic? 250? 300?

I had no idea that these existed. Great find! Sorry that I'm the first one to respond, but this place is a ghost town since the series went on permanent hiatus. My first reaction was "Wait... There's a way to watch OVAs 7 & 8 with worse animation!?" 🤣 I agree with you there's some touches that OVA 7 does better than final. I wouldn't necessarily say that first version is better animated, I think it's less ambitious, using close-ups and still frames to cover up the lack of budget. The sequence of the Zoanoids chasing Sho through the water in the final version looked bad, but it was more dynamic than a bunch of static Zoanoids waiting for the Mega Smasher. As for OVA 8, the best thing I can say is that it doesn't have the glaring continuity errors of the final version! Thank you for sharing these!
