Not really, this is because it's totally different software now. When I took over the site, a 10 odd years ago, it was on version 3. I'd updated to version 4 very early on as version 3 went out of date (in other words, web servers update like the OS on your computer and phone, the different versions of the software time out). Last weekend I discovered that the board wouldn't work on the latest version of the webserver, and the software had moved to version 5. The main thing now is to learn how to use it and its options. Just there, I've updated the front page of the site. This will hopefully start making it easier to use. But yeah, I'm not a huge fan of those images and so on, especially the size, but most of the images are the wrong size at the moment. I'll play around with it some more this weekend. I most likely will be removing the Chatbox from above the fourms to reduce clutter now that it's on the front page.

Sweet update dude! I too am getting used to the newness, but no worries!

Is there any way to make it look basically how it was before? the main forum page is a bit cumbersome to scroll down with such large thumbnails instead of the simple list and having post previews in the sub boards makes the page a bit overwhelming.

When I have more time, the weekend coming, I'll be looking to sort out the front page and forums to make them flow better.

Messageboard updated to Version 5. The Chatbox is down at the mo as it doesn't work with the new version. I'm looking into that. There will be a number of changes over the next few weeks as I both get used to the new version and tweak the site the way I want it to be.

Fixed issue with Certs on all 3 sites. Updated Warriorguyver.com and theguyver.net to latest versions. Reminder for Japan-Legend's next big update: Signing in with a Display Name has been removed in v5, email addresses must be used instead.

Looks like there really was a crazy number of original illustrations on display - looks like basically everything that was in the Illustration Chronicle and, judging from some tweets, some shonen captain covers that have never been compiled anywhere and manuscript pages. The Gale Hound Guyvers 1 & 3 as well as the Stato Hound Guyver 2F looks very interesting. Looks like these will be up for sale starting December 2026 and January 2027. No date listed for the Guyver 2F. This seems to be a collaboration with the Titanomachia series, which is very interesting to me. Huh, you learn something new everyday.

Looks like the exhibit was really well made, lots of cool stuff. Must have a lot of fans at Kadokawa who still love it to put up an event like this.

Max Watanabe posted a couple images from the exhibit early as they are setting up still. Most importantly, the 1/6th Guyver 3 returns! Shame it isn't in color... But at least it's still being shown!

We have gotten our first early color image release of the new Guyver 3 Figma. It still says Pending, so we're likely still around 6 or so months before we hear about a pre-order... but they could also rush this one out too... So normal routines may not apply. But they are really getting everything ready to make the new 40th anniversary event stand out.

The sad truth is that we are now all older and should have a lot more disposable income compared to decades ago, so should there be new interesting products we want, we can easily afford them. Unlike before where they market to younger demographics, they need critical mass to be profitable. Now, they can just issue limited edition merchandise and we all be like "shut up and take my money" 😄
