The Crimson Guyver

Been away yet again. Just got Clip Studio Paint so I decided to try and draw something Guyver related with it. Will take a while to learn how to really use the half toning tools but it is definitely a life saver.

Imma back with Haunting Guyver's Gigantic form :) Being guided by Xiona for the first few years in fighting Chronos. Salem became all to embroiled in the goals of Xiona and her faction which shared the same name as her. When the Guyvers gained the power of the Gigantic the armor again shifted to signal their motivations. Salem now possessed with the goals of Xiona, now has Xiona's darkness bleeding into his Gigantic's appearance. Corrupting the innocence of his once ocean blue armor to a muddled purple of Xiona's ambitions. Also what his GIgantic would look like without being "brainwashed"

A good friend of mine named StellarStateLogic offered to shade up at least 1 character for me

I had each host of my Guyver OCs commissioned and designed by the artist Cloudy-0w0 over on deviantART. If its one thing I suck at its designing clothing for characters (older comic pages apparent.) So I asked someone I knew who was excellent at it to draw them up for me. I'll be building off their designs soon so look forward to that

The only game type I could see working for Guyver is one like Platinum Games excels at (So very much like NieR Automata)

So I believe I found someone who found inspiration from one of my Guyver drawings and cosplayed it. I say inspiration because he did redesign small parts to it. The first person to cosplay something I drew up

Well anything bigger then my tablet now with its own screen is better. Seeing where my hand and pen are would help me tremendously. Anyways didn't mean to derail your thread here. Just admire the precision you put into the lines.

So is the screen on the tablet 13 inches or is the tablet itself 13 inches and the screen is smaller? Cause using a 6x8 intuos is driving me insane after so many years.

What type of Tablet do you use?

Yeah wasn't exactly Cryptic in the NSFW version. I don't really know if Mevan even saw my hosts bust piece. Either way, I had my own double take when I saw them when looking up Guyver on dA.

Eh, mostly needed that scene with the zoanoids having the upper hand and taking over the dig site. So the best they could think up was to capture him and sedate him. There really wasn't a deep reasoning for it, it was more for the easy explanation to have him away. My guess is that if there was a real plan with this, they would've kept him sedated (if for some reason the bio boost creature powered through the sedation though who knows.) Had him set up in a chronos facility so that when he did awake and boost they would've just overwhelmed him quickly? IDK the Guyver in the movies isn't as strong as the manga/anime organism so that could be a plausible strategy (save for megasmashing his way out of there.)

Loved 2's design based on the damage. You can see it has an actual physical effect on the formation of the armor itself. His face plate has a "Melting" hole in it, The eyes also have a very melting look to them showing that while the armor was forming itself on him it wasn't finished when the CM sent the signal "ALL DONE!" Same goes for the arms that hold the megasmasher chest plate to the chest. The 3rd bottom arms didn't form all the way and are just growths protruding from the chest plates. The starving point might be right, it could also still have to do with the CM and being dismantled rather then removed. With Sho his was removed intact and so something about the processes within the CM was still whole and didn't kill the bioboost creature when it happened. While with Oswald's his was destroyed, it exploded out of his head and already being damaged its processes when it was destroyed probably severely damaged the bio boost creature to, remember the CM is still a computer and like computers we have, if you physically damage it there are going to be some massive issues with it that will happen. While just removing say a hard drive on a PC won't completely stop everything from working. I like to think the CM being destroyed is what caused the bio boost creature to malfunction itself and it mortally wounded it.

Also trying to figure out how to make an animated avatar with Crimson to so I storyboarded it first.

Yeah scars aren't that troublesome for the host, there is no risk to the host's life from the scars. But anything that is a life threatening matter the Control Metal will take things into its own "hands" as it were. It definitely enhances the muscles of the host. Look at how Sho changed in his physique over the years hes had his Unit. At first he was his scrawny teenage self and then later on he is all defined muscle. Even without putting on the armor for the rest of his life, his body has to be in such peak condition he could easily live to be over 100 years old. But part of me thinks with the Bio Boosted armor a host can live for indefinitely.
