  1. It's called whiskey and coke for a reason. Coke. Mexican Coke is best though. They're all bad for you though. I mainly drink water and beer haha.
  2. If Guyver was huge like it deserves to be... I would love a live action series and spin-offs like Aptom.
  3. Went to 'Movieland' (video rental store) in Australia with dad. I believe it was 1997, so I was 7 years old. Dad pointed out 'Guyver: Dark Hero' because he thought I'd like the cover since he thought it looked like a Power Ranger (I was HUGE into PR). We rented that, plus some American Ninja movies and who knows what else! Was hooked on Dark Hero and must have watched it a billion times. Not long after, I went to another video rental store called Video Ezy and found the 12-part series on VHS and my life changed forever! The first OVA episodes I saw were 3 and 4. Went back every week to try and find the others and eventually saw every episode, aside from 7 and 8 which I couldn't find at any video store. We eventually got Foxtel and I saw in the tv guide that they were airing the whole series over two days on a channel called Aurora. Excited, I asked dad to record it for me on VHS. I still have that somewhere... I remember looking for Guyver stuff on the internet when we first got it, and seeing all the fan-art and fan-fic on Warrior Guyver, which I thought was real! Haha Didn't see the first live-action movie (titled Mutronics here) until I was about 12-13 which probably wouldn't have been long before or after I joined Guyverboard. Don't think I've seen it again since then either.
  4. What the hell.
  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUYVER! haha
  6. Wow! That was fast... I still need the translation for the last chapter too but don't know where to send money for the pledge since Drag isn't replying.
  7. Awesome! Can't wait for the translation.
  8. It's horrible. Humans suck.
  9. Guyver OVA Elfen Lied Claymore Cowboy Bebop Outlaw Star Ghost In The Shell (film and series) Akira Paprika Perfect Blue Samurai Champloo Blood+ Black Lagoon Full Metal Alchemist Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood Sword Art Online Neon Genesis Ninja Scroll Madlax Dragon Ball Z Canaan Bubblegum Crisis The Castle of Cagliostro Most of the Studio Ghibli films (particularly Grave of the Fireflies, Porco Rosso, Spirited Away, Howl's, Totoro, Kiki's etc)
  10. Living tissue over metal endo-skeleton. Of course it does. T2 is my favourite film of all time... and I'm excited for this one.
  11. That last page! Wow!
  12. Here's the official trailer! http://www.nova937.com.au/entertainment/movies/first-jurassic-world-trailer-arrives
  13. I usually only visit 2-3 a day. Up to 6-7 when I am bored or looking for something in particular.
  14. Can't wait!
  15. Started and finished Tokyo Ghoul in 2 days, last week. What started off good, ended really, really badly! That last episode sucked!
  16. There's talk of Frieza having the 'god' powers. I think that's a terrible idea if it's true. What's next? Namek Gods? Human Gods? Ugh... Here's hoping that it's set in an alternate universe, or that this Frieza is from an alternate universe.
  17. I am not at all satisfied with that. It just doesn't make sense. Why would Thanos entrust Loki with one of the six items he seeks? Why didn't the Asgardians obtain the staff when they could, after the battle? I'm sure there will be some explanation! haha
  18. Welcome aboard!

  20. How'd the Street Fighter: Assassin's First guys get away with it?
  21. Slow-paced or not, I LOVE the fact that Sho and Apollon are working together right now!
  22. Can't wait! I love AoS.
  23. I was thinking crowd-funding campaigns such as Kickstarter or Pozible would be a great idea, but we'd have to get Takaya and the team involved with the 2005 series on board. I recently rewatched the 2005 series and I still like it. Moreso than the first time I watched it. If I had it my way, I would do the following: 1. Start a crowd-funding campaign after getting Takaya's blessing and/or involvement in the project. 2. Get the animation team from the 2005 series on board. 3. Get the music team from the 12-part OVA to provide a sweet, sweet soundtrack like the one we all love so much! 4. Not necessarily have it follow right after the events of the 2005 series... Maybe even start all over again, with more violence and gore. Then again, if I had a few million to spare, I would 100% make this happen. Crowd-funding isn't always a guarantee, but it's worth a shot if we can get the right people involved. As for what Matt was saying about the brief guideline of the episodes for a season 2... I think it was the arc from the end of episode 26 in the series up to the end of the Cabral Kahn fight.
