  1. Day two, Wednesday: the sofa bed at J's house is incredibly hard, not much better than sleeping on the floor. I still managed to get a decent night's sleep, and so did Mom, but I don't like remembering it. It wasn't a good time. Anyway, we made it to the hotel - called the Handerly - and unpacked. We were also able to get the four-day passes for Comic Con a day early, so that was nice. My feet and legs basically hated me by the time we made it back to the hotel, though. I don't do well with walking.
  2. The first day of our trip, a Tuesday, started at 10 in the morning. We all piled into the family car, on our way to Coronado to spend a day with my sister's friend J - whose name is hard enough to spell that I think everyone pretty much just calls her that – and started off on our trip. We live in Redwood City, so the trip itself was a pretty long one; not to mention all the food and drink we had to pack for the duration, so that made the car pretty crowded. Not to mention the fact that my costume was in there with us. We had all of our clothes and stuff for the hotel in the trunk, though, so that was nice. We arrived at around 8pm, so none of us was really in the mood for anything more than dinner, some light conversation, and sleep. I will say one thing, though: Outback Steakhouse makes their food entirely too spicy.
  3. I just got back a couple days ago; and I finally managed to get all of my stuff in order. I'll be reporting on the process of getting to and from the Con day-by-day, though I'll probably have more to say about some days than others, naturally. All in all, though, I definitely had a great time.
  4. My costume is all done but the boots, I'm packing my clothes and other items for the trip, I'm almost finished getting my snacks... and Mom and my sister are almost finished, too.
  5. I've gotten the rest of the funds I'm going to use for Comic Con, Mom's got the extra stuff she needs to keep the plants in good shape, and my costume is coming along great! I'm so stoked!
  6. We don't actually take our carpets out to clean them, either. Mom just rents a carpet shampooer; something that kind of looks like a big, red vacuum cleaner that you fill with water. That's why we have to wait for the carpets to dry, too.
  7. Someone else; definitely someone else. An old favorite, in fact. Changed your name again, I see.
  8. My costume for Comic Con is coming along really well; Mom's doing great work on the vest, and my work on the pants is going very well, too. I'm also almost done with my non-essential packing, so that's good.
  9. This is pretty cool, too:
  10. Preliminary packing begins tomorrow, but the thing I'm really jazzed about is the fact that I've got my own cellphone now. Sure, it's really only a temporary thing, and it really sucks that I can't get a custom ringtone, but it's still my cellphone, to use while I'm in Comic Con. It's so cool!
  11. Well, I've bought some of the snacks I'm going to carry in the car; not all of them, but some. So next I suppose I'm going to start packing.
  12. We're going to drive to San Diego; flying's become too much of a hassle, and I don't know if going by train was considered, but I'm not really for it, so I'm going to be buying a fair bit of snacks to carry in the car.
  13. Well, this is the month, people; me and the family will be heading out to Comic Con at the end of July. MY first Comic Con; I'm so excited!
  14. His head looks like a funny cross between a football and a rocket, and I swear I saw Master Chief in one of those pictures; this series looks like fun.
  15. I love this scene; really, I do.
  16. Spring cleaning is a sort of tradition, where people typically bring out their rugs, and anything else they don't clean regularly and clean it. Some people also use it as a chance to get rid of things they don't want to keep anymore. My family doesn't do it every spring, but sometimes we'll shampoo the rugs. That's a real hassle, since we have to move everything out of the way, and then keep it off until the carpet dries.
  17. I'm going to be heading off to Comic Con with the family next month; I'm really excited. I've been getting my costume prepared and everything. And it sounds like there's going to be some really interesting booths and people down there.
  18. What cute little Gashpons you have, HG. Cool avatar you've got there, by the way.
  19. I made it to page 477 of Flesh and Blood today; which is nice, since I'm not having as much inspiration as I once was for that fic. I am getting back into writing for Guyver, though, so that's kind of fun.
  20. Chapters 13 and 14: FB-13.htm FB-14.htm Enjoy.
  21. Very nice work, BB Dude. I like.
  22. Chapter 7, page 9: Masaki reminisces.
  23. I finally made it to page 476 of Flesh and Blood today. Haven't quite made it to the "in-show" parts yet, but at least I'm making progress again.
  24. Chapter 7, page 8:
