  1. I went as D-Boy, from Tekkaman Blade. The really funny thing is, when we started to leave the TARDIS model behind, someone dressed up as the Fourth Doctor came by. I asked him if he had any Jelly Babies, since that's pretty much the Fourth Doctor's trademark - well, one of them, anyway - and he gave me one. So, it was kind of like D-Boy getting a Jelly Baby from the Fourth Doctor. Weirdest. Crossover. Ever.
  2. I come bearing pictures from Comic Con.
  3. Yeah; I might try that next. Kind of annoying, though; I really liked that font, and I don't seem to be able to find it.
  4. So, I've been using a certain type of font for the title cards that I design for my Guyver stories; now, I seem to have lost the font I was using on them. So, if one of you guys knows what it's called, and where I could go to download it, that would be really helpful. Thanks, everyone.
  5. Here's Chapter 7, at long last. Pages 1 - 6:
  6. Chapter 7, page 13: I didn't even have to pay for this one; she says it's because I'm so patient with the delays, but I figure that she has her own life, and she obviously works hard on all of her commissions, so I make it a point not to bother her.
  7. Chapter 7, page 11: Chapter 7, page 12:
  8. After quite a bit of waiting, I finally got the next page; definitely cool. Chapter 7, page 10:
  9. Day two, Wednesday: the sofa bed at J's house is incredibly hard, not much better than sleeping on the floor. I still managed to get a decent night's sleep, and so did Mom, but I don't like remembering it. It wasn't a good time. Anyway, we made it to the hotel - called the Handerly - and unpacked. We were also able to get the four-day passes for Comic Con a day early, so that was nice. My feet and legs basically hated me by the time we made it back to the hotel, though. I don't do well with walking.
  10. The first day of our trip, a Tuesday, started at 10 in the morning. We all piled into the family car, on our way to Coronado to spend a day with my sister's friend J - whose name is hard enough to spell that I think everyone pretty much just calls her that – and started off on our trip. We live in Redwood City, so the trip itself was a pretty long one; not to mention all the food and drink we had to pack for the duration, so that made the car pretty crowded. Not to mention the fact that my costume was in there with us. We had all of our clothes and stuff for the hotel in the trunk, though, so that was nice. We arrived at around 8pm, so none of us was really in the mood for anything more than dinner, some light conversation, and sleep. I will say one thing, though: Outback Steakhouse makes their food entirely too spicy.
  11. I just got back a couple days ago; and I finally managed to get all of my stuff in order. I'll be reporting on the process of getting to and from the Con day-by-day, though I'll probably have more to say about some days than others, naturally. All in all, though, I definitely had a great time.
  12. My costume is all done but the boots, I'm packing my clothes and other items for the trip, I'm almost finished getting my snacks... and Mom and my sister are almost finished, too.
  13. I've gotten the rest of the funds I'm going to use for Comic Con, Mom's got the extra stuff she needs to keep the plants in good shape, and my costume is coming along great! I'm so stoked!
