Has there been any indication that he got the quilt? I've been out of the loop recently, so I might have missed something.

That doesn't really strike me as an inhuman mindset, though; sociopathic, yes, but humans are perfectly capable of being sociopaths. Heck, some people have even thought of other groups of humans in nearly the same way as Chronos seems to. I won't name names, but there's still that to consider.
-
Well, that can either come down to a matter of personal interpretation, or a lack of study. Or, a lack of understanding of the human condition, but that's rare in almost any case you want to think of. Differing interpretations will lead to different portrayals of an established character, and all you can do in those cases is either deal with it or stop reading. A lack of research, however, is probably easier to spot, and should be more simple to correct. I still don't understand quite what you mean about Chronos seeming too human; most of them were born human; sure, some of them are fairly fanatical about the Chronos "party-line" shall we say, but they do mostly have understandable motivations all the same.

Guyver 12 part OVA and TV series camparisons or opnions
Kenji Murakami replied to Primex's topic in Guyver
The OVA couldn't continue, It ended exactly when it needed to. Aptom's Gregole/Vamore/Enzyme II composite form is the "final boss" of the series so to speak, but let's think of what could actually happen if it had gone on longer. What does Aptom do after Sho defeats him? He absorbs Elegan, but wait! Elegan died giving his life energy to ZX-Tole, who also died way too early. Gaster and Derzerb? Also dead. The entire Hyper Zoanoid 5 died before Aptom even showed up. Think about it, with all of them gone, how is Aptom to evolve past that composite form? He can't. Don't get me wrong, the 12-episode OVA is probably my favorite Guyver media outside of the manga, but 12 episodes is all it could be. It's absurdly gory and violent, and with horrible dubs (which makes it perfect in my eyes), but there is no way they could have possibly extended the life of it. Yeah; I ran into that problem myself, when I was writing my series. I solved it with cloning; and I have to say, I really enjoyed writing first-clone ZX-tole's freak out when the second batch of clones was decanted. -

Really? Why do you say that? What makes you feel that way?

Can we all just agree on the fact that these muttonheads completely fail at reviewing? I mean, seriously; not only are they completely boring, it sounds like they're wildly inaccurate, too.
-
Those are really cool looking; I like the quasi-realism they went for. Almost looks like a painting.
-
Yeah; I'm glad she at least died somewhere familiar. Somewhere she could be comfortable, and I like to think she was happy when she died.
-
I only made it through five minutes of that drek; those people are aggressively boring.

One of the family cats died today: Squeakers; she was pretty sick, so it's nice that she's not in pain anymore. Still, I think 13 years is a little young to die - for a cat, at least. My sister's looking into having her body cremated. Sammy's still doing well, though. So, at least she's still with us.

Thanks again, Ryuki. You rock.

It's not the contrast of the black text on a white background, it's the glowing screen that gives me a headache when I spend too long staring at it. I usually print the pages out after I download them, so I can read them offline, and don't have to spend hours at a time staring at the computer screen. Thanks for thinking of me, Ryuki.

Ooh, shiny. And hey, colored pic of Apollon!

Yeah; the best OCs - in my opinion - help bring more depth to an established character, or to explore a side of them that the canon didn't. Or else to explore different facets of the universe while sometimes interacting with the canon settings and characters. Really, they're best used to compliment the setting, living within it rather than overshadowing it.

Thanks, Ryuki.

Can we still download these? I love reading them and all, but staring at a white computer screen with black text for so long is going to be murder on my eyes.

That's one heck of an interesting piece of news; I didn't know that David himself was so interested in the 'verse. That's cool.

21st chapter of "Flesh and Blood" is out, and I'm now on page 590, and working on chapter 22.

Thanks, Durandal.

Turns out I didn't have to repost my topics, so that's nice.

SpaceBattles' forum just finished the big move to new software, and while it's nice that they have more functionality, it's kind of annoying that I can't figure out how to set the resolution back to 800 x 600. Or that I have to repost my topics, but that's really just a minor thing in comparison.

I've made it to page 570 of "Flesh and Blood", and I also managed to get the 20th chapter out, too. Working on 21, now.
