Well each volume has about 4 chapters in it....and it's 16 volumes at the moment...64 chapters....so they have 23 book sreleased so far in Japanese and are waiting on book 24. If I'm correct that is.

True, but maybe their world is like that of Kuuga and Agito. Kuuga and Agito's worlds are VERY closely related with onlya few different factors that help seperate them. SO maybe Black and Black RX are almost the same but just slightly different in certain way...like RX's world is a world of what could happen if Black evolved a bit more and newer enemies showed up. I think a movie was done like this before but only for the SHowa Era Riders and that was near the end of either the Black or Black RX series.

Ok, there were some set backs so I won't be getting the buckle any time soon....bills are a real pain in the arse.

I also noticedthat but they also waited until they got in the church to introduce ROse instead of in the market like they did in the manga. Yes, I caved in and bought volumes 1-5 of the manga a few days ago. It was buy 4 and get the 5th free so i took advantage of it. And with the books only $10 a pop, that wasn't a bad deal. I do plan on buying all the volumes. I think in English they're up to volume 16 but what volume are they up to in Japanese?

Actually, you should have stated those last two as 25 and 26 as you already ended the others with a 24. I'll post my next entry later.

I just hope for Riders V1-V3 they use their movie actors. As for the other Showa Riders....new actors probably...except for Black...he's still in good shape.

It does have its ups and downs and does have some slight conflict with Tekkaman Blade 1...unless you saw the hard to find OVA that is set some time between the two series which I have yet to find. I only have the preview for that OVA and it looks nice. For Tekkaman Blade II here's my review: Characters: A few characters from the first Blade series return for TB 2 but not all of them. Mostly Honda, D-Boy and Aki. The newer Tekkamen are just around the same age as D-boy was when he first became a Tekkaman but without the setbacks like memory losss and the time limit issue. Plus, unlike D-Boy, they chose to become Tekkamen...or should I say they were selected and they went along with it; with their won reasons in mind. The main character of the series is a young girl names Yumi Francious (spelling...it is pronounced 'Franswa'). She's a bubble headed blond around the age of 19 and she works as a mechanic under the guideing eyes of old man Honda with the Space Knights. She was saved by the white knight (Tekkaman Blade but that's how she first remembered him) when she was a young girl. She wears a type of crystal around her neck indicating that she was originally one of the people the pod plants tried to Tek-Set in Radam's first invasion. She fell in,love with Blade and has looked for him since. She then falls for D-Boy and constantly challanges Aki for his affection. She also posseses the more powerful Volteker blaster called the "Reactor Volteker". In the the series she does grow under the guidence of her fellow Tekkamen comrades but she learns the most from Blade and initially helps him find a way to defeat an enemy Tekkaman later on. (I'll post the other characters later). Story: The story wasn't that bad. Unless you've seen the special OVA or its preview you'll most likely get the feeling that this series is an alternate universe setting or a mes up on the writers part. It's not a mess up, refer to the 3 sets released by Media Blaster on the series Tekkaman Blade. Anyway, this story did have some ups and downs but the animation style is far greater than that of the original series...seeing as it was done a year or so later after TB 1 ended. The only ting that the writers may have messed up on is with Blade/D-Boy himself. In TB 1, after ascending to his Blaster form, he was only supposed to live for about 6 months due to the harshness and strain that the upgrade proccess puts on the users body; yet in TB 2 it's 10 years later and he's still alive. I do not know if this was explained in the OVA or not but that is the only mess up I can think of. Tekkamen Armor designs: The armors aren't as bulky as they were in TB 1 accept for Blade and Dead End. The rest of the Tekkamen are more streamlined and slightly organic looking in some ways. they were pretty cool, especially The Reactor Volteker: Possibly one of the greatest mecha attacks of all time. It's stronger than the basic Volteker but not quite as strong as Blades Volteker while he's in his Blaster Form. That's it for now. Anyone else can add on to it if they want.

Most likely the movie will tie up any loose ends that the series left hanging. I expect it to be good. Nice character analysis Renegade.

That's cool. Well my Tekkaman Blade loving friends, I have just hit the jackpot. I was able to find and DL just about every single Tekkaman Blade and TB2 OST there is. All together it comes to about 585 MB's. Over 7 OST's and 5 extra songs. I'm gonna upload them all, each OST on its own, via Sendspace. This way, if anyone wants some of the music they just have to PM me. I now have more music to listen to from another great anime.

I like the pic's Kenji. Very nice costume and I feel for ya on the heat wave. I'm currently trying to find out where the nearest anime and tokusatsu conventions are near my area. I want to go to a TokuCon as a Kamen Rider...hopefully as Decade. Just need to lose some weight, build a bit of body muscle and get a suit made. Polyester? Just be glad you weren't wearing any fiberglass armor like the Guyver-Guy with that heatwave. that is a nice panting. Very good depth of feel to it.

That'll be sweet! Matt, do you know if they have a set release date for them yet? If anything, I'd like to see them do another Tekkaman series with the new animation techniques. Even if it's only a short OVA I could live with it. I just want to see it get some new anime life before it's too late.

Trust me, I only have a few images there and I'm also known as HyperGuyver there as well. It's mostly people I know from FF.Net that go to see them there as everyone here see's them when I post them here.

I'm also taking a small break from the RP. It's actually a good idea to do so. This way, we can refresh our minds and do even better on our future posts. Right now I'm spending time doing more chapters to my fanfics and working on drawings for friends. Some of which are almost done being drawn and others....not so done.

Cool, Kuuga makes a come back. It's about time. Nice pics Abarekiller. I do have a question though. Does anyone know when they're releasing the official soundtrack with all of the background music for this series cuz I would so love to have it.

Well I went and saw it last night. Here's my review. Warning, may be a bit spoilery so you may want to skip this post if you haven't seen and want to....or just read it if you don't plan on seeing it. Cast - Not a bad choice. Chow Yun-fat actually portrayed Roshi perfectly in some poin. The guy who played Yamcha got his cocky attitude down to a T but he still lacked something. Bulma....somewhat like her japanese counterpart but just a bit more dense in some place but not the "I'm gonna wish for the perfect boyfriend" 16 yr oold we're all used to. Chi Chi, typical high school girl who knows how to fight and she actually acts like a total love interest for Goku and his incintive for ki control. She was portrayed to an ok extent but she just didn't have that certain omph that the original Chi Chi had. Must be the lacking in her bossiness factor. Mai & Piccolo - Mai was ok but nothing like her manga and anime counterpart. I didn't really care that much for her character. Piccolo, I must admit that James Marsters did a pretty good job portraying him. Not as evil as the original King Piccolo but he did a good job. Goku - I didn't really like him because of how high his high school emo factor was done but he did do ok in a few points. I'll give him credit towards the end (around the last 15-20 minutes of the movie). He did nice there. Other than it was nothing to write home about. Plot - Not a bad concept. I'll admit it's more modern than original but it was still a nice concept. Not the best in the world but definentely good. Musical score - The music was nice and it did help with the flow of the movie. I actually liked the ending credits as they actually used a Japanese song for the ending track. At most I'll DL the OST for the movie. Graphics - I must say that the graphics, SFX, CGI, etc...were really cool. I especially loved how they did the energy/ki attacks. Some of the best work I've seen. Rating - Overall, my personal rating for this movie would be a 6 out of 10. It has a nice flow though it does lack quite a bit in a few areas. My say is...go see it if you want to or having nothing else to do. Other than that just either DL it or wait for its DVD and Blue Ray release.

OOC: Nice post. NP, Nala and Shiori well have the Lovers dead as a door nail in a couple of paragraphs. As for Koujin, I have a nice new little trick with him that I've been thinking about when converning his Paladine Mode. All I'll say for it is....form fusion...at a price. All I need to know is if I can kill Tower, Devil or both or niether in that post after I deal with the Lovers. As for the next battle post of mine. I'll post it a bit later as I'm working on something for a fanfic later this year and a few drawings.
