Makes me wonder if you think of me and BK with our QG-Rebirth! fanfic project when you talk about the Overpowered OC and the Japanese language thing, lol. But, it's your concern with the Japanese part that is now making me consider putting a Japanese vocabulary at the beginning of every chapter of my series that has Japanese characters speaking words in Japanese. this way, the reader will know what to expect in the long run. Honestly, I don't know that much Japanese at all and i only use words that I do know which is around only 1% of the entire language. Japanese in of itself is a big confusing language to many people who are not native to it and don't even get me started on the kanji, hirogana and katakana [emote=onion]spiral[/emote] Overpowered OC's, I can see where you're coming from on this and that's partly the reason why I build so many limitations to the overpowering forms of OC's I create. Say either a time limit, high risk to the users body, possible death of using such a great power, may drive the character insane, etc...that type of thing. With bad fanfics in general, if I find one I just can't get into and it shows that the author is just a plan idiot...or is that bigot in European English...then it makes me do this to either my wall or my desk first, [emote=monkey]head[/emote], followed by me feeling like this, [emote=monkey]daze[/emote]

That's a good question you brought up there. I don't really have that many but there are a few. 1 - Bad grammar. I can stand it to a point, hell, I'm known for doing it once every chapter some where when I write. But if the writer does nothing but fill his/her chapter with grammar that makes the story too difficult to read, or just plane unreadable, then I just don't bother. 2 - Breaking the Universe Law. If you write a story that resides within the universe of a well known comic, manga, anime, tv series, movie, etc...then it's best to abide by those laws of that particular series. You shouldn't just go and do what you feel like and disregard the laws entirely. This ruins a story. A way you can bypass the laws though is if you place your story in an AU or AR, Alternate Universe/Alternate Reality of the borrowed series. this way, the laws can be slightly re-written but still followed. As long as you can explain this within the story then I don't care but I can't stand the ones that disregard the set laws of a series in their entirety. 3 - Total Gender Domination. I'm not a real big fan of this type of thing what so ever. If you write a story where the main character is a total dick and a tyrant who has a harem of unwilling women at his beck-n-call and all he does is abuse them then I won't read it. Now, if it's a story where there is an enemy that your character is taking down and you write scenes based on the enemy for only those few chapters alone then I won't mind as much. But to write a story completely based around a character that treats the opposite sex in such a way is a complete turn off for me when it comes to wanting to read a fan-fiction. That's about it for me at the moment.

When you go to post a message look just below the big white box...which I just happen to be in while typing this. Look for the button that says "Click To Attach Files" and click it. then select the images you want to upload onto your post from the desired folder. Note, there is a file size range of about 9MB maximum and you can only post around 8 images at a time.

Not bad. I really like the Oban: Star Racers one a lot.

HyperGuyver's Fan-Art and imagery trove

Everyone has their own style when it comes to doing a color pallet. If you want to learn the best techniques for shading, I suggest you talk to Ryuki as he's really good at it. As for choosing Blackfire as my model, there's a reason behind it. I am currently a member over at fanfiction.net and one of my stories is called Ben 10 Forever. It's a x-over series with Ben 10/Teen Titans/Justice League Unlimited. I have it set a few years after a supposed ending of Ultimate Alien in the Ben 10 series, a few years after the end of the Teen Titan series and about a year after the end of JLU. In the fanfic, Blackfire ends up falling for Ben and they later become an item. Her DNA will also become the basis for a new alien form in the series sometime down the road. the fanfic takes things from all 3 TV series but also derives things from the actual DC comics as well. Of course, I also created many of my own events and villains for it as well. Though, sometimes I give my readers a chance to choose what happens in an upcoming chapter. In the series she's also a year older than Ben, who I have set at around 21 yrs old, so she would be 22 in Earth years. Even though she's soft and sweet with Ben, she's still a mean b***h with everyone else who gets on her nerves. the story even takes her off character a few times as in not being a total evil being as she's now...what you would call...nuanced. She still has the attitude of a villain though. -

thanks. And, now, here's the shaded version. Note, I haven't done shading in a long while so I may be somewhat off on it. -

Okay, here is a 3-piece set of the Blackfire image so far. One is the pencil rough, one is the cleaned outlined version & the other is the outlined version with basic color. I'll post a 4th image later with the colored version having undergone a shading process, making it look similar to the animated series color scheme somewhat. -

Here a couple of new drawings I did on receipt paper at work while I had some spare time between cleaning. One is of my fanfic Rider, Kamen Rider Xceed, and the other is of Blackfire in my fanfic series, Ben 10 Forever, sometime after she loses and then permanently regains her powers. -

Believe me, he's not joking. Though, take 100 hundred of the hot girls and around 70 of them will be taken by guys, another 20 will be into women and the last 10 probably won't even give you the time of day. A lot fo the Florida girls can be really stuck up and materialistic. that and about every 3 out of 5 people between the ages of 15-30 do some type of drug be it dope, crack, pills, etc.... Trust me, nearly all the girls that come into the store I work at during the night are either drunk, high or both...and half of them are under 18! They gettin that drenn from some place bad man.

If that ever happens, I'll make sure to bring the camera to capture all the Banana magic.

I think Birth's symbol is that pop-ball thing that symbolizes a gashapon type of gimmick.

Sentai of 2010 "Tensou Sentai Goseijer"
Toku Warrior replied to Toku Warrior's topic in Japanese Entertainment
I was a bit shocked to learn of Burajira's true origins. Hey, who else besides me loved the fight between Alata and Dark GoseiKnight in Eps.48? And we are now down to the last episode airing tomorrow in Japan. So next week begins Gokaiger. Out with the girly team and in with the pirates of the seven galactic seas. -
I haven't even bothered DLing it yet to watch.

Decade Fanfic Discussion and Updates thread
Toku Warrior replied to Tales's topic in LET'S CREATING!
Out of my Riders this is my order: Magnus Shadow Jouga Z Omni-Rider (I place him last as he lives in a post-apocalyptic world and relies more on action than strategy for the first half of his series). I Don't know about Tales' Riders. I would say this then: Medulla Magnus Cosmos Kero Shadow A.N.T. Jouga Z Omni-Rider -

That's pretty wicked Tales. Spectre, should have it done pretty soon. I'm drawing it along with my work on designing Kamen Riders' Jouga and Z. I don't need to draw out Shadow and Omni-Rider as I already have images of them. I am also planning out the drawing for Magnus default 2 version, Magnus - Ender mode. -
Um...okay, even i want to watch this series but this dialog really makes it like we're back in the 90's era of PR. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGBO-zTgF80&feature=player_embedded

Decade Fanfic Discussion and Updates thread
Toku Warrior replied to Tales's topic in LET'S CREATING!
Take your time Spectre. Tales, I added your Riders to my document for cast filing. I just need you to give me info on the forms that your Riders can use. Bobby, like with Spectre just take your time. The bio for Medulla can just be a short and simple one with basic character history, traits and form info. Remember guys, how are characters act and the powers they have in this collab is not a definite in their own stories. Treat these Riders for the collab as AU Riders if you have to if your own Rider story is not near a good source zone yet. As it stands I just need the form info from Tales on Kero and ANT and I just need the bios for Cosmos and Medulla. -
Kamen Rider OOO spoiler/update thread

Maybe, but the Giru the Dino Greeed did appear in the movie. As for the TaJyaspinner, even if it wasn't used in the movie, it's been proven that -

Kamen Rider OOO spoiler/update thread
Toku Warrior replied to Toku Warrior's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Something tells me that PuToTerano may be OOO's final form. It's the only one so far that changes all the colors of his suit. Plus it has a much more armored look to it which is similar to most of the other Heisei Rider final forms. Makes me wonder if we'll see PuToTerano in the 40th anniversary movie. I did hear it was supposedly shown in the OOOxW Movie Taisen CORE...that or hints were given to it. I know TaJaDor was used in that movie. -

Toku Warrior replied to Tales's topic in LET'S CREATING!
Guys, Spectre and I have been doing a lot of talking and one of the main topics was that before we even begin to write we should all get to know one anothers Riders. Just write a basic backstory and include information on how many forms they have, relationships if they have them, hobbies, interests, bikes, description of enemy organization if you have one, the type of Kaijin used and how many Riders there are in your series. Basically everything that is needed to help us get to know your Rider. Here, I'm posting a document that contains all the basic info on my 5 Riders that I'm using in the decade fanfic. Magnus, Shadow, Jouga, Omni-Rider and Z. So, after reading the info in the document, if you want, just write up your own bios for your Rider(s) and send it to me and I'll add it into that document for finalization. Oh, wait a sec. Here's a link to an interview that MTV slash Page had with Thundercats 2011 producer Ethan Spaulding. http://splashpage.mt...mage-interview/ And this is that press release I was looking for. SS was right when they called it an anime, lol. Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) has begun production on ThunderCats, an all-new animated series for Cartoon Network, based upon the iconic 1980s action classic. ThunderCats is the newest series from WBA, joining Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which was recently renewed for a third season, and the following forthcoming programs: The Looney Tunes Show, MAD, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and Young Justice. The announcement was made today by Sam Register, Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, Warner Bros. Animation. "In addition to being Warner Bros. Animation's first anime series, ThunderCats marks our most ambitious foray yet into fantasy," said Register. "The realism and dynamic visual style we've achieved are sure to thrill viewers, and the cool weapons, vehicles and technology should help the show appeal to a diverse audience." The 21st century reimagining of the series marks a creative collaboration between WBA and Studio4°C, one of the most vibrant animation studios in Japan, with credits including The Animatrix, Gotham Knights and Halo Legends. WBA is working closely with Studio4°C, utilizing the latter's expertise to give the ThunderCats characters a new cutting-edge look while remaining true to the compelling storylines and mythology of the original series. "We at Studio4°C are excited to be in this creative partnership with Warner Bros. Animation to bring ThunderCats to life," said Eiko Tanaka, President and CEO, Studio4°C. "This collaboration combines the strengths of our two companies — high production values and great storytelling — toward reintroducing this classic fan-favorite to a new audience." Roaring to life through WBA and Studio4°C's use of the Japanese animated artistry of anime, ThunderCats characters Lion-O, Mumm-Ra, Panthro, Cheetara and others will spring off the screen with realistic cat-like characteristics inconceivable in previous incarnations. The new ThunderCats will appeal to viewers who have loved the characters all their lives as well as young newcomers to the franchise. A sweeping tale combining swords and science and boasting ferocious battles with the highest of stakes, the grand origin story of Prince Lion-O's ascension to the throne – and of those who would thwart his destiny at any cost — takes on epic dimensions in this sharp new telling. As the forces of good and evil battle each other in the quest for the fabled Stones of Power, Lion-O and his champions learn valuable lessons of loyalty, honor and mortality in every episode. ThunderCats is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold). Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Wonder Woman) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) are the producers. I'm also adding an image of their current toy line. I want the Sword of Omens!!!

I wouldn't say we're ganging up on him. I would say we're just trying to make sure he understands what sets the difference between Anime and Cartoon. Other than that I like it how he's keeping us informed. If anything, I want to know where he's finding those images. I like them so far except for Snarf. Actually, Soul Science, if you could would you please post the link to that press release.

Yes, it does seems to be getting some good responses. But it's got me thinking about something. When Disney first got it they sorta screwed up on Ninja Storm as it was slightly taken out of continuity with the previous 8 series before it. But they then reconnected the continuity with Dino Thunder by bringing Tommy back. Now my question is this. RPM was originally supposed to end it all and it had some slight continuity with the previous 14 series before it but I'm wondering if Samurai will have any continuity connection with RPM. I know that Samurai will have continuity with the other 14 series before RPM but is RPM gonna be considered an AU with the PR or does Samurai tie into its continuity as well but just placed before or after RPM. It just makes me think if Saban is overlooking RPM all together or if he'll have Samurai tie in with it in some strange way.
