In alot of ways. But there is one major key difference. The W'Kar was meant not to make a person into a war machine or anything, it was meant to merge and create a new being capable of using the raw power of the W'Kar Element.

Though if the Aceaer unit had an attack against it quick and strong enough it may not be able to teleport away fast enough and could get destroyed along with the host.

While connected to an actual guyver unit like WGC, yeah. If done so with only the Aceaer, no.

I believe we have officially set the cut off date of the manga from our fic at book 16. So that power is not involved in the main fic.

If and when W'Kar meets Anubis it won't be any cataclysmic time/space paradox. The event created two, it's not like he is going into the past to meet his younger self or anything. As far as XT goes, we'll just have to wait and see how much XT remembers and how much he will speak up, if he does at all. Should XT know the complete truth he may want to destroy W'Kar.

It's a dangerous creature, but the Eliminator that we all know and love is meant to kill Guyvers, not W'Kars. Reproductions are Guyvers with levels of W'Kar tech, but essentially still guyvers. There sheer power can defeat eliminator, but that thing can hurt alot before they could. Besides, Reproductions don't have HSL's. W'Kar himself though, well, though I wouldn't put Eliminator out of the fight I would say that Eliminator would be biting off more than he could chew.

That qualifies more as a badass than a true eliminator. The eliminator is made specifically to kill a certain kind of guyver. Something like that is more of a 'Kill it all' thing.
