Here, it's supposed to rain off and on until sometime early next week and highs might not get much above 60. Still, even now, I have the fan on because of how humid it is at home. Hopefully I'll finally have that dinner tonight, as well as catch up on fan fic and some gaming stuff.

Well, I had sausage instead, mostly because I went to sleep soon after and I didn't get back up until 10:00 this morning. I'll be eating those pork chops later tonight, though.

Hi everyone. I'm listening to some Liana right now, and they have a show tonight that I hope some videos or photos come out of. No new kittens yet, but at least we made it though the storms last night. It mostly just rained. I still haven't made my pork chop dinner. I went to bed at around 8:30 and didn't really get up until about 10:00 this morning. So that'll be a project for tonight, as well as some gaming and other stuff, like fan fic. I'll be back later

I did answer what I though was the better series, but I also felt that I had to answer to why the nudity from the OVA wouldn't fly in the TV series. Age could also be a factor, though both series appealed to teenagers. But in the manga, Mizuki said she was 16 when the events at Takishiro happened. Hence, for that reason, it could've been a censorship issue to avoid any legal issues/questioning. Age of consent in Japan is 14, but it most US states and European countries, it's 17-18 years old. So that could've been an issue as well. But I do feel that the TV series is better, because it's more "up to date" with times and technology, and it does flesh things out more and give hints at stuff later in the manga's storyline

Random thought: Eating right now and being online makes me appreciated the invention and versatility of the sandwich.

Well, as I said, this stuff will last me a couple of days once I get it made. I also like pork sausage, preferable tube bulk sausage. And I love ice cream. This is stuff that it could be supposed that I shouldn't have a lot of, but then, I do reserve the right to be happy while eating. BTW, I'm on my 2nd glass of the drink mix stuff. First it was cherry, now it's fruit punch. I also have a couple of turkey/provolone/pepper jack/pepperoni sandwiches. I ran out of the wraps last night, so I'm eating the stuff in actual sandwich form.

Sorry if I caused offense, and I did believe it was a joke. But the Mizuki being naked thing wasn't going to work in a TV series format, especially one aimed in part at America and Europe. And that does, even if not intentional, does take away from one of my favorite things about Guyver--that the women are more important than window dressing. Shizu is an ass-kicker bookworm and the sane one in her relationship with Agito, Natsuki is the brains with Tetsuro, and Mizuki represents humanity and the reason why Sho fights. But as I did say, even with that one scene edited, you don't really miss out on much. Only later in the manga with Shizu (usually in a glass tube) and Val's armor retraction ENF moments do things really get "interesting" LOL.

Well, that's right, and heart disease, cancer and diabetes runs in my family. Besides, as long as you don't venture out on to the roads with the friggin' maniacs who drive around here, there's plenty of space for me lot walk around provided that the weather isn't inclement, such as today! I finished the wrap thing that I had left over from last night. Pro tip: Don't leave it in the fridge overnight. Pretty good, but the areas of the wrap that had no meat or cheese on it dried out. Going to be drinking a ton of drink mix stuff today to get rid of some of that stuff. As mentioned, hopefully the storms will clear out before I decide to make dinner tonight. If I had corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, I'd have a complete meal for the next 2-3 days. But I only have the pork chops, but those usually last me a couple of days.

I usually don't eat very much red meat, but I've been wanting pork chops for a while now and I usually don't ask too much for groceries. I'd also consider making more fried chicken but we need a new electric skillet/fryer/whatever it's actually called. I usually bake my pork chops in a shake and bake deal, because when I try and fry them with a flour coating (like fried chicken) they rarely come out the way I want them too. BTW, I didn't make them last night. The wrap things I made and a bowl of cereal was enough for me. However, once the storms and crap we're having here move out, I'll be probably making them tonight.

TV series! Much more fleshed out story, some things got snuck in that hinted at future events and explained things (the flash back that Shizu had of Agito in their youth, for one example), more characters were involved deeper into the story, and it was set out to be faithful to the manga from the outset (The OVAs were made to cash in on the manga, but out of fear of leaving cool stuff out, Team 5 got intro'd much earlier in the OVAs than in the manga or TV series). Also, no boobs? The TV series was made with US and European audiences in mind, and I'd bet some offense would be taken at seeing Mizuki naked (the Viz version of the manga had Mizuki redrawn in a bra and panties as well). OVAs can and do get away with a lot more stuff than something intended for TV does. And besides, later in the manga, we get to see Shizu and Val naked, I'd argue there that those looking for fan service didn't miss out on a ton, anyways LOL Sorry, I just took mild offense to the "no boobs" comment. I can admire the female form, but it's not very fan servicy IMO when Aptom was threatening to kill her and it was more of an attempted rape/murder scene than something I'd consider suitable for titillation, which very little of the manga scenes are aside from Val's ENF moments.

Hi everyone. Guess what? Tornado watch for my area until 9:00 tonight! There was also a tornado warning for the southern part of my county last night, and we had quite a hail storm about an hour ago. At least most of this stuff will be out of her tonight, so my pork chop dinner is on for this evening. Strange thing is that it's so humid that though it's only like 65 outside right now, I can get very warm, but run a fan for long enough, I get a huge chill. Anyways, I have some gaming and fan fic plans for tonight to go along with my dinner. Listening to some Liana right now and I'm looking up some stuff. It it weren't for the severe weather threat and the humidity, today would be my kinda day to be honest. I'll be back later

Guyot, the power-hungry SOB that he is, has always wanted to get his hands on a Guyver unit throughout his involvement in the story. Being able to better resist Alky's influence is a probable bonus, but, much like Agito throughout much of the story, he has wanted to take over the world. World domination has always been Richard's #1 goal. And we have to remember that though there were Zoalords in Japan, namely Barcus, as Yuki has pointed out, he was a considerable distance away, and this was before he had that amplifier built after Chronos took over the world. In the canon of the story, Relic's Point was about 115 miles (180km as Yuki pointed out) away from where Malmot died and where Sho and Tetsuro found the Guyver unit.

Either tonight or tomorrow night, I'll be having pork chops again.

It's hot and humid here right now, and will probably storm later like it did yesterday. Then the temps will drop over the next couple of days to being around 60 degrees.

Today's pretty hot and humid where I am if there's not a breeze or overcast around. And it might get stormy today and tomorrow. I have plans for pork chops today or tomorrow for dinner. Though they're not all here in my home at the same time, about 9-10. Sugar (the name of the pregnant cat) hasn't had her kittens yet. We also have a black cat that we believe is our neighbors who likes to come here and eat and lay on my older brother's bed.

Only problem with that is that Guyver II also had them, and we know that Lisker by and large was a prick. So why would he have those things if he wasn't compassionate? Could it instead be defensive vs offensive? Sho and Lisker transformed into their Guyvers on accident. Agito activated his Guyver on purpose. But then again, that leaves Val, as female Guyver II has them, and it seems that she merged with her Guyver on purpose, or maybe she's taking advantage of a "happy accident".

It was stormy last night, and it actually helped me fall asleep of all things. It'll be warm and stormy the next couple of days, too.

It seemed like the first 6 had such a following at the time that the studio though that it could cash in on another 6 and sell them later on as a 12 volume set (as US Renditions--as Bio-Booster Armor Guyver--and Manga Entertainment--as Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor--would do). However, where the first 6 had great animation all things considered, the last 6--especially volumes 7&8--were kinda bad, though things got better starting with ep. 9. But the half hour OVA format never allowed the story to move beyond the monster of the week shonen format that it got stuck with, as well as Takaya wanting to introduce Hyper Zoanoid Team 5 into the anime. That's another sign that it was supposed to be 6 episodes long orginally. Then the other 6 got made as follow-ons due to popularity, then they got bundled as 12 later, especially for North America/UK/EU.

Hi everyone. I feel better this morning. We have a cat that's about to give birth, and hopefully we can find something to put her in soon. I don't think that it's imminent that she'll give birth, but I think she's looking around for places to have her kittens. Today's going to to be warm, as will tomorrow, which with the humidity here, isn't a good thing for me. But I'll try and manage. I also found a new musical act. Remember the videos that I'd post by someone named LiaNight? She's now got her own act with her sister that she writes lyrics and music for called LIANA. She's supposed to have their first video out posted to her You Tube page. I'll post a link when the video gets posted. I have plans for gaming and fan fic tonight. I hope that I stay cool today, as well as anyone else where it's hot and humid I'll be back later
