  1. If you literally combine the two you would wind up with something like WGC.
  2. Okay, halfway there...
  3. That's part of it...
  4. Yes, officially we know nothing about the red orbs at the base of the Guyver antenna/horn. Though it is interesting to note the Gigantic has more of them, perhaps part of the head beam system? Anyway, the correct answer was the head beam is an Infrared Laser system that the unit uses to vent internal body heat. Unlike the normal vent system on the face the head beam is more efficient and would work even in the vacuum of space. This however does mean the head beam has a limited range, since infrared lasers get distorted and absorbed by the atmosphere. Next Question... How does the Guyver enhance the host's physical blows?
  5. Yes, the CPM boost gives an immediate 2x speed boost. WG's gravity shield ultimately lets him go faster but takes time to charge up. So 0-5 seconds WG2 is accelerating 2x faster than WG. 5-15 WG starts to increase acceleration and closes the gap to 1.5x 15-30 WG starts to catch up and so they are tied at this point. 30-60 WG starts to have a pretty massive gravitational charge and can now travel faster than WG2. Okay, next question... What is the head beam and what is it's original purpose?
  6. Nope, Kregen live in the Multiverse.
  7. Nope... though very close.
  8. Nope, WG2 has his CPM's to boost his speed and WG has his gravity shield.
  9. Okay, apparently Shenzon doesn't have any questions for this topic... So let's pass the time with a little fan fic trivia... In a flat out race between WG and WG2, who would be even or ahead at each of these time intervals... 1) 0-5 seconds? 2) 5-15 seconds? 3) 15-30 seconds? 4) 30-60 seconds?
  10. It's a depression switch, you can't step on it! And the units are suppose to be stored in the Relics, not on the ground where everyone can kick it. G2 was the exception because the Unit was damaged, the seal was no longer intact and thus it was only a matter of time before it auto activated. Risker mainly got it, in the Manga, because he was within its line of trajectory when it burst out of the containment shell. It even landed lopsided, unlike how it did with Sho who got it right in the face. On the Enzyme, 3 things... 1) The Unit assimulates and adapts to the host, so the blood would be countered. 2) The Enzyme Acid was made to dissolve the Guyver armor, not really the interior. So only a problem if bleeding. 3) The Enzyme Acid is actually a natural occuring acid used by the Guyver Organism. Chronos discovered it while studying G2, and simply made Enzyme to produce large quantities of that enzyme. Thus the name! So all the Unit has to do is regulate the enzyme to keep it in check.
  11. Nope, it's just the Gigantic grown really big by siphoning continuously energy from the Boost Dimension. And no on the Dormant Unit, it definitely has to be physically depressed, you even hear a click!
  12. Doubtful, the purpose of the dormant state is to preserve the organism in an inactive state and so for the most part there would be little to no energy activity. The unit is basically in stasis! Unit activation is even carried out by pressing a depression switch on the Control Medal side of the unit on the bottom. If it was aware of its surroundings then it wouldn't need such a switch.
  13. Yes, this was shown in greater detail in the recent anime series. Bullets slammed into G1 and they can be seen indenting the armor and then flopping to the ground just before the armor returned to its original shape. Generally speaking the Guyver armor has always been described as nearly unbreakable. It takes high exposives just to damage the exterior skin of the armor and vibrational weapons to penetrate deeper. It's just examples like Enzyme's that make it seem easier to damage. However the unit is designed to assimulate the properties of the host and Zektole does have an advance kinetic absorbing armor, which the Unit could integrate and combine with its own properties to make even stronger. So a Guyver Zektole would be impervious to pressure cannons and with the power of the Bio-Boost, since Zektole gets stronger the more energy it has infused, means it could even become Mega Smasher proof... At least enough so it would take the Giga Smashers to take it out.
  14. Well the original fiction will still go on with the original data files, the changes and updating will just be for the Chronicle version. Unfortunately there is not much in the Manga to give much to estimate Guyver speed aside from some guess estimate of some key scenes and given speeds of certain zoanoids. Reflex speed is also subjective, for example no one is as fast as they could be 100% of the time. But Chronicles will have a refined estimation according to increased evidence provided in more recent translations. Anyway the dormant unit weight has never been given but since even three of them have been carried at one time with no apparent trouble we can only assume they are pretty light. Even all metal weights of those sizes don't weigh more than 25 pounds, though neither are these units weightless and have been compared to land mines. So I would say it safe to say a dormant unit weighs in and around 5 pounds, heavy enough to heft but not heavy enough to be trouble lifting on the first try. This is probably due to the fact that except for the casing, CM, and gravity control orb on the bottom that most of the mass of the dormant unit is just the Guyver organism, which is fully organic and thus not that dense.
  15. Actually Dreadnought has to hold back because he has too much power, since the HSL system uses the host to regulate it can literally burn him out going full out. So the reason he has to power down is not because he's straining his reserves but rather because his unit needs time to keep him stable and regenerate any disintegration from using too much power at one time. The BED has a similar problem in that it makes the unit go beyond its normal limits and thus risks destroying the host body from the raw power being channeled through it. The CPM power boost has a similar problem but it is a limited boost and so can be withstood for prolonged periods of time, additionally it can be used externally to avoid the problem, but try stacking CPM's, as some have suggested in the past, and you just stack the strain put on the host till they are burnt out and the unit has to wait till the host is regenerated before it can re-activate the HSL system. Guardian achieves her 10x power level through a combination of the HSL and CPM that thanks to the MKII upgrade have been integrated and given a secondary regulation system that allows her to achieve that level of power continuously without burning out the host. The BED system though still goes beyond her unit's ability to handle and thus her unit has to power down after using the BED or risk burning the host out.
  16. Yeah, Ray Park is a real martial artist. So he likes to play roles like that one. Should be good physical action with him in it.
  17. You know better than to ask, "exactly"! No Comment! on exact questions on things that deal with stuff not yet revealed in the fic. But the answer is there if you just think about it...
  18. It's more complicated than that!
  19. Each! Extensively, the moment you see the unit cover the host the transformation is instantaneous, the cover was just artistic to show a representation of the host within. For example the unit removes the vocal cords so the host speaks through the sonic emiters like a speaker system but the host never notices aside from the funny sounding voice. The Guyver eyes also merge with the host eyes and feed visual information directly to the brain through the same optic nerve pathways the normal eyes use. That's the Enforcer Kavzar, they have what is basically a matter/energy matrix manipulation capability so it's any type of energy. Limited only to the area effected by the energy manipulation field and by how much energy the Enforcer Kavzar can channel through it. That's a Warhammer 40,000 weapon, basically it fires an Electromagnetic blast that disrupts the molecular bonds of the matter it hits. Kinda like a Maser but more efficient. Unlike the Mega Smashers, which are a particle beam weapon and thus delivers both ionic and kinetic energy. Energy wise the Smashers are more far powerful than a Flayer, like comparing a grenade to a nuke. But the Flayer is more energy efficient. If the Guyver Smashers were replaced with the Flayer type, it'll probably be more effective. Like a Phaser is more effective than a laser even at the same power level, they'll just lack kinetic energy so the target would just disintegrate but won't get knocked back. Essentually the armor reduces itself to a skin like layer of armor, basically everything deflates, and the CM. When the unit first bonds to a host it sheds the containment shell, which is what you see when the unit is dormant, which disintegrates as the organism, CM, and gravity control orb lauch out and lands on the host. The organism then bonds to the host, controlled by the CM so the organism doesn't completely absorb the host and instead creates the hybrid form of the Guyver. All of which takes little over a minute to complete and then the process is complete. The Bio-Boosted host and unit now are very dense, G1 for example weighs 575 pounds. The unit can then de-activate, separating itself from the host and reducing itself to a shell that contains all the parts of the Guyver that go into the host, such as the Smasher Cells, heart (though it's debated whether the host heart is replaced or altered), hyper sensors, gravity control orb, CM, eyes, organism, etc. We don't know how much this shell weighs but it should be more than the dormant unit but less than the Guyver. Basically much of the mass is returned to hyper space as energy during deactivation and is returned to the Guyver as the Bio-Boost process infuses energy from hyper space during activation. You can kinda say the Boost Dimension is the life blood of the Guyver and the deactivated unit is like a blood drained husk with the skeleton (host removed). If that helps you visualize it?
  20. A balance between the tech and the host, MKII is inherently random for most units it is applied to. It's also part of the Unit's nature to adapt to the host and the MKII gives more options to embody that nature.
  21. Yes and no, the Praetorian Units are all based on the WG2 with the GWOTG Mark II tech upgrade. The net result is more powerful units but the abilities are mutated every time the unit is activated because of the unpredictable nature of the MKII on the WG2. Like Guardian's tendril whips are hardly part of the original WG2 design. :apt:
  22. The Aura Bomb will keep on going until it either is disrupted or absorbed since it is basically a blast of kinetic energy. It's just pretty much self contained so will keep on going until something acts upon it. For example, it can't be used to move a planet. So when Dreadnought used it on Crystallite, she only smashed into ground (from orbit) and then the wave dispersed and knocked everything around her away until the wave finally dissipated.
  23. Aura Bomb was just a lot shorter to write
  24. The Bio-Boost process indeed not only infuses the host with energy but is responsible for the rapid addition or subtraction of mass. This is what allowed the Gigantic for example to go Exceed. As to how much energy, at minimum the formula is well known as E=MC^2, plus whatever is needed to power the CM and to compensate for any energy lost as heat and light. So G1's body mass of 575 pounds comes out to 5.6025e+3 megatons of TNT worth of energy, or 2.3441e+19 joules. Take that energy and just calculate for a few minutes to give you a per second rating as G1 completely regenerated in a matter of minutes from just the CM once the process had started. So say we assume it too about 5 minutes? That comes out to just under 2 mega tons of worth of energy per second. We actually debated this point years ago and realized that the Guyver regeneration used up more energy than even the Mega Smashers output. : Kinda gives you some idea why the Gigantic is so much more powerful, it's a lot better at drawing power from the boost dimension and using it offensively than the standard unit is. The thing is that is the Unit's peak while utilizing the Bio-Boost. Normal operational power is far less due to the fact normal power is drawn from the gravity control orb, which siphons energy from the boost dimension but nowhere near the rate of the Bio-Boost. So consider normal power to be a mere fraction of the Bio-Boost, which is why normal regeneration takes longer and why the smashers take at least several minutes to recharge after use. The Smashers themselves I have estimated to be equivalent to an atomic blast at around 10 kilotons worth of energy.
  25. Yes, 170.6 feet tall. We always knew (those of us that read the manga) it was between 50-60 meters as the reporter on the rooftop gave that number yearly on as an estimate and we knew since the last volume that Khan's Dragonlord form was about 60 meters and the Gigantic was shorter and Khan weighed more at around 5 thousand tons. And Khan's final form was 82 meters tall and weighed 6720 tons.
