My sister let me borrow the first two volumes of the manga. I'm surprised the trials of Yusuke were mostly cut out in the anime. I liked the one where he helps his old friend succeed as a boxer, I was disappointed that was cut out of the anime. But I honestly did enjoy the fight with Suzaku a lot.

There's a figure coming out? Cool. I also think the purpose of Pegas in Blade was to also play homage to the original series.

I still think the movie overall sucks even after watching it in theaters. Bad script, bad acting, virtually bad everything. I know people will call what I'm about to do "nit-picking," but I call it "$#*+-picking!" I don't get why Piccolo needs the Dragon Balls to take over the world when the movie demonstrates he's capable of flattening cities and that he's strong. If anything, the movie never specifically states what Piccolo's wish was going to be except you have to assume it's world domination. I don't get the impression he wants his youth back and doesn't look as aged as the original King Piccolo was. I think Marsters as Piccolo wasn't as bad as I thought it'd turn out to be, but I think he could have been more useful. I think it could have been cool during the fights he loses an arm and regenerates it, or turn into a Super Namekian. Also, it doesn't explain how Piccolo was free nor does it explain the relationship between him and Mai that deeply. Was Mai in prison with him or something? And it also doesn't explain how "oozaru" was defeated along with Piccolo the first time and how he was reverted into Goku. Bad script writing on virtually every level. I thought Jamie Chung was going to deliver the worst performance, but I think she did better than I thought as well. It shows her character knows a lot about ki, but I don't get why her character didn't use it. I wish it also explains why and how she can train at that temple. As for Justin Chatwin as Goku, he comes across more as a (very terrible) American version to Makunouchi Ippo from Hajime no Ippo/Fighting Spirit than as Goku from Dragon Ball. The final fight wasn't really much to write home about - just horrible Sci-Fi channel special effects. I've seen better demonstrations of Dragon Ball ki attacks in after effects videos on youtube. And Roshi using the kamehameha to heal Goku was also a horrible idea that I couldn't bare watching. The movie could have just conveniently introduce senzu beans in that scene instead.

i don tknow how many have been confirmed, but when they announced the new series in the manga, they said they had scripts up to episode 19 ready and more in planning

Glad there's a topic for this series. This is one of my top favorite animes. It's also quite funny that I never saw Teknoman, and I heard they only aired half of it on UPN. I've also seen the original Tekkaman. It's ok, but I like how Tekkaman Blade took the story to another level and I like how they approached the technology in a more organic approach like Guyver. The voltekka in the original Tekkaman is quite small compared to the newer one.

Wait a minute, there are people who seriously believe that Dragon Ball Z isn't anime?

The thing is, Dragon Ball is a long established product for the past 25 years. So people already have a clear expectation and understanding of Dragon Ball if they did at all follow it from a casual to hardcore level. Keep in mind this is not just Americans who are pissed, but Asians hated it as well. And after seeing this movie, none of this movie at all represented what I love about Dragon Ball. I think a lot of us want to give it a chance. I have tried watching Uwe Boll movies, Legend of Chun Li, and Catwoman with an open mind, and in the end they're all drenn along with Dragonball Evolution which I also was willing to give a chance. The only credit I can give Dragonball Evolution is its at least better than Catwoman, but I still put it in the level of the House of the Dead or any other Uwe Boll movie. But I never thought I would ever say that the Mario movie and Howard the Duck were masterpieces compared to it.

I downloaded this movie and it's a piece of crap, but it's at least better than Legend of Chun Li and Catwoman if that means anything. If Asia has an Uwe Boll, it's James Wong. If I were George Lucas, I'd tell Wong that it makes me regret ever disowning Howard the Duck. The acting is so terrible, it makes Vin Diesel look as talented as Marlon Brando. The movie is so epic fail to the point it makes the Mario movie with Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo look like an oscar!!! Compared to the live action Hokuto no Ken movie, it actually makes it more faithful looking to its original source material. And you know those youtube videos of Hitler saying this movie sucks? Well, the German translated in those videos is more accurate than what was translated from the original source material to this cluster f**k of a movie. I think Legend of Chun Li will ultimately sweep the razzies, but I can see Emmy Rossum winning worst supporting actress and I can see Chris Klein and Chow Yun Fat competing for worst supporting actor.

I enjoyed the episode myself. The songs are good but no where near the league of Porno Graffiti or L'Arc

Hajime no Ippo New Challenger and I'm also up to date with the Hajime no Ippo manga. I really enjoyed Ippo on the Beach 2 more than the manga did it. Can't wait to see Imai in the next episode. I'm also watching the original Casshern series, got it off nyaatorents. I LOVE old school anime. I also bought some DVDs during the Best Buy sale. I just finished Guyver today, and I plan on watching Yuu Yuu Hakuso next. Haven't watched it in like 10 years.

Well my favorite overall mobile suit is Char's Hyaku-Shiki in Zeta Gundam. But if we're exclusively talking about Gundams, then my favorite Gundam is the GP02A Phyalsis from 0083
