Alright, after watching the most recent episodes of Fourze and the Megamax movie (a good movie btw) I am convinced that fourze in a way its a continuation to Kamen Rider W, why do i say this? knowing this it has me intrigued to find out how exactly are they going to follow up on this, if they do not do anything with this on Fourze then I'm very sure that they will on the next Kamen Rider Series. The Megamax movie was a nice treat for me as a Ozu fan so I may actually do a review of this movie in the future. As for the current events in Fourze I am liking the fact that they are making Leo (which is also my zodiac sign) so formidable that it is now Meteor's new goal as he is basically no match against him right now which makes me wonder if Meteor will get a new form soon although I doubt it since it is so late in the series already.

The tittle says it all, from what i found recently looking for some news regarding anything resembling a new Guyver movie and came with this particular twitter comment from David Hayter that he wanted to make a 3rd film with Steve Wang again but Wang said that it was too tangled up in right issues. here is a 4 minute preview of The Amazing Spider-man my first impressions, I like it a lot and my expectations are high on this one. Looks like that Andrew is doing a better job at portraying Peter Parker than Tobey ever could, Tobey did the generic quiet nerd role with a very low tone no confidence even as spider-man while Andrew does a more confident, wisecracking, obnoxious, cocky nerd which is what the real Peter Parker/Spider-man is and most importantly and here is what Raimi failed in his movies, in the old movies Raimi did a nifty thing by giving him organic webbing which is pretty awesome but by doing this and not using web shooter he forgot to enforce one of peters characteristics which is Peter is a Genius Scientist!! the web shooters makes you the viewer know that peter is a very intelligent person in order to come up with an invention like that. now in the raimi movies you know he is intelligent because he talks technobable and aces his tests, big deal, you have to SHOW how smart he is and in this new film it is showing it very nicely and with the lizard I am sure that Peter will come up with a formula in order to revert him back to his human self.

Theme of the day Folk Literature Well this is a first for me, I have not tried the blog area at all since i have joined here, anyways i wanted to start my first blog discussing Folk Literature, I for one like it cause it gives you a sense of knowing your roots and how things where interpreted in the past of your countries history and I totally love history. The main reason for why I'm making this is because I wanted to share with you guys a dream that me and oddly enough my English teacher have in common and is to resurface the myths and legends of my birthplace Puerto Rico and make it accessible to the general public, be it local or Foreign.The thing with Puerto Rico is that to me it is that it's people at least to me don't care enough for their art and literature, sure we have an abundance of Music which is a form of art but that is not all we have heck the public schools don't include Art as a class anymore!, you got to go on specialized schools that give the workshops, wouldn't you feel sad if newer generations did not know about the history of where they where born cause nobody even bothered to record them?. Anyways I'm going a bit off topic, what i wanted to share with you guys is a project I'm currently working on for my English Literature class and is to take one of the stories recollected from the book of a local historian of Puerto Rico called Cayetano Coll y Toste and look information regarding that story, Translate it into English and then make a modern version of that story, I chose the story of the most known piratein Puerto Rico called Roberto Cofresí who is considered to be Puerto Ricos version of Robin Hood. I already made the modern version of the story that i chose and will post it here for feedback. if you want to know a bit more about what we are doing you can go on ahead and go to the wikipage that we are working so you can give it a look. It’s been 7 years since I have decided to go to sea in search of adventure and treasure, 7 years that I have stared death at the face and laugh. The Americans call me a pirate since I keep attacking their ships. The Spaniards did not care for me at first as long as I just kept attacking non-Spaniard ships, they thought of me as an ace in their sleeve in their fight against the Americans, Spain…. a foreign tyrant that cares not for the well for the country that I see as the place of my birth, a Tyrant that oppresses my people and only cares for itself, they think I am their ace?! I’ll be dammed if I let them think that so I proved them wrong by attacking their ships as well and now I am their_____. The Americans think that because my attack against the Spaniards they worry about me but I make them think twice as today me and my crew attack a merchant ship from the company based on St. Thomas . My loyal crew eager to fight start to prepare their weapons waiting for their captains orders, and so I do. We approach the merchant ship from the side as they raise their flag as a sign of peace but we in turn wave our black flag as a sign of death, engage the enemy fearlessly, they do not except it but try to defend themselves but they fail miserably as our ship “El Mosquito” as nimble as the annoying insect it is named after dodging cannon fire docks near them before they could load their cannons again. We board their ship and give them a warning to surrender and leave their possessions behind; they preferred to do it the hard way, very admirable but just as foolish. The crew starts to shoot at us with their rifles but they have lousy aim as their bullets only hit the deck of our ship, we on the other hand have the aim of a Guaraguao and hit effortlessly. As the fight progresses we fight decide to save our ammunition and take it close and personal, I ready my axe and start cutting down my foes and paint the deck of their ship red with their blood, then I start to realize that just as they are lousy with their guns they are not much of a threat when fighting in melee combat, I let a smile go on my face cause this fight was over before it even started. As the fight ends my crew starts to load all of the loot to “el mosquito” and sink their ship, this would be our 8th consecutive attack today. Proud of our victory we decide to go to my home town Cabo Rojo to share the spoils with our people and my crew, the Americans and Spaniards consider me a Demon, my people consider me a Hero but I am neither, I am just a Man who cares for his country and family and would do anything in order to give them what they need. Captain’s log March 5st, 1825. As we prepare to set sail I stumble upon a mysterious old man covered in tattoos and strange ornaments who is watching me from afar as I approach him out of curiosity he warns me that I would fail today and will die and should turn back. I scoff at the old man and tell him “Turn back? How could I turn back if my people are in need and the tyrants are out there taking advantage of us in our own land?! If I am to lose today then so be it but I will not go down a coward! I will go down as a free man of the sea who fought for his people”, I leave the old man and go to my ship and he calls me an arrogant fool, angry at his insult I turn around to confront him but the old man suddenly vanished, I turn again and leave to my ship with the old man’s warning in mind. The day went well having hijacked a ship from Salinas with no effort at all my men were very confident but I was skeptical that it went so well, as we make another search near “la boca del infierno” for ships we stumble upon what appeared as a stranded merchant ship called “The Grampus” I told my men to be cautious and we approached It in order to take it down little did we know that it was a trap set by the Americans AND the Spaniards in order to take us down, we fired upon them but their weaponry was superior, I am not a coward but I was not going to lead my men into a fight we where outmatched so we retreated to the beach and wait for them at night to take them down us having the advantage of the terrain, we lost a few good men in our retreat and I was injured in the process as well. As night falls my men are tired and have their morale down but I try to assure them that we will get through this, my words go through deaf ears. As I reflect on what has happened I realize that I may have been a bit too arrogant and it is my fault that we are in this situation but I have no regrets and try my best to allow as many of my men to escape, I try to fight as much as I can but my injuries took the best of mea few of my men succeed to escaped others have failed along with me, I am writing this now from the prison I have been sent on San Juan. Captain’s log March 29th, 1825. Me and my men have been trialed and found guilty for our actions and soon to be executed. I have no hopes getting out of this situation this time but I do not care I did this in order to help my people as the proud Puertorrican that I am. Suddenly the mysterious old man appears before me again and tells me that he admires my tenacity and pride and hate for the tyrants that captured me and assured me that the sea will be with me always and will grant me power even after death. I smile assured of the old man’s words and I am now a man with no regrets cause I will die as have lived a free man of the sea and my enemies will fear me even upon death as I will haunt them should they defile my beloved countries shores. -Captain Roberto Cofresí

17 seems really fine to me, I got final exams this week for my last semester taking psychology (yay!!) so next week would be a better choice for me since i don't have to worry about the university. I vote the 17th

I was just doing my routine research today and i suddenly found this interesting video that there is a french studio that decided to make their own series of super sentai called France Five to pay tribute to the Japan Super Sentai, heck it even had Akira Kushida do the intro theme in one of their episodes. I noticed right of the bat on the first episode, I will watch it once i get the chance but not right now, right now V3 looks promising, the first episode did not pull any punches at all, Black is supposed to be Dark and serious but Daaaaaaang does V3 do it better.

Finished watching Kamen Rider Black, I can see why it is considered one of the best series....that is if I got to watch the series when i was younger, since i have just recently watched the series In my opinion it has not aged well and i don't mean by the special effects, they are great considering the year it was made, what i mean is that the story could have been much, much more better, it had a lot of potential since it had the protagonist follow a similar path as Tekkaman Blade did, it had a lot of awesome episodes but there where some other episodes that felt like filler and hurt to watch, the fight scenes where good, the monster designs where awesome, the story was hit and miss, i think it was trying a bit too hard and the ending left me with mixed feelings. I did notice what one of you guys mentioned a while back that the showa riders used a lot more their bikes to fight than the Hesei Riders and it shows with Black, I only have one problem: In short, Kamen Rider Black is good but I would not recommend to someone who is just starting out, I give it a B. Up next on my list is Kamen Rider V3 and Garo Makai Senki.

Thanks for understanding, to start off I would recommend talking bout Gobusters, Fourze, the current Ultraman series (I think it is Ultra Galaxy Neo) and Maybe Akibarangers.

I don't know how much of a difference in time i have with you guys, Frankly I have a lot on my plate right now and I don't want to eat more than i can chew, I could give it a try but I can't Guarantee that I could participate every single podcast, I just wanted to contribute to the site as much as I can by giving suggestions on how to improve the activity here, I feel bad enough that i have not finished the script for the review yet, at best I can contribute Graphics for the podcast and such. I really want to do more but I just can't, sorry.

Well, it could be either a weekly or monthly podcast, if it is weekly I would suggest talking about short recent stuff that is happening in the world of Tokusatsu, an example would be the recent death of the actor that plays Kamen Rider Stronger, or maybe current Movie/Game/Music/Series releases like the new All Kamen Rider Generation game and talk about your expectations of said media, it should be at least 15 to 30 minutes long but at least above 30 if you do it Monthly and by doing that you could also discuss the current events of a certain series during the month. In my opinion doing a podcast monthly could give the people participating the chance to get up to date on the things to be discussed, aside from talking about things related to tokusatsu you could also contact celebrities from Tokusatsu or Tokustasu community and Interview them for the podcast say for example Mark Musashi who is the actor who played Kodama in Garo who I know that has been interviewed in podcasts and videos before and speaks decent English. You should post the podcast on youtube and provide a mp3 too that way people can have more options on how to listen to the podcast episodes. If opting for the Youtube route I would suggest giving each person speaking a portrait to Identify the voice that is speaking and make it glow when around it when that person speaks just for fun.

seriously you guys should definitely watch this series, it is shaping up to be one of the best Super sentai series to date, at least to me. The thing that i like the most is as how detailed it is to explain how each thing works in the series from the gobusters themselfs up until the mechas that they used, it is definitely living up to the cyberpunkish feel that it is trying to convey.

I heard about the IDW comics but i have not gotten the chance to read them yet, btw the Giant monsters all out attack DVD that i have has a somewhat unreliable sub specially at the end, I know that i have a long way to go before I am fluent on my japanese but but what i heard and read on the movie just stuck out like a sore thumb too much, well at least i have the movie so I can't complain much, once i have the money I would probably hunt down DVD's with more reliable subtitles. I just got myself another Godzilla Movie to my collection this time it's Godzilla Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack and I must say I loved this movie, Godzilla looks very menacing the special effects are decent enough and the humans are at least competent enough and don't slow down the action and it surprised me to see Ghidorah being a good guy for a change....I think this is the second time if I'm not mistaken, I am almost there trying to complete my godzilla movie collection, now i need to hunt about 6 more movies, I just hope Godzilla vs Biollante has been released on DVD cause i don't think i could find that movie on VHS anymore and i loved that movie.

I must say I am enjoying this series a lot, It does not take itself too seriously which is a good change of pace compared to other Rider series, I like all the characters the Cancer Zodiart and Meteor in particular, i have grown fond of Fourze's Elec and Magnet State but not so much his fire state, Gentaro is someone i would definitely be a friend with, the only thing that killed it for me is The Meteor Storm State, I don't mind the colors but the helmet is just awful, maybe it will grow on me over time but not right now, i am very anxious to see Fourze's "Final" form I like it a lot more than Meteor Storm and dang it I WANT TO SEE LEO IN ACTION ALREADY!!!!.

dunno, maybe. about the hearts thing...considering that law has the ability to cut somebody without killing him could the hearts that law delivered where people from his own crew or pirates that are loyal to him in order to fool the world goverment? i might be overthinking things and he is really just a cunning and manipulative guy.
