Wow, thanks for the analysis on the Megasmasher and Blade's defense against a nuclear blast Ryuki, it was very interesting. so by all of this even if the guyver managed to hit blade with a Gigasmasher he would probably shrug it off? looks like the fight is going more to Blades side so far although I would still hold him a threat against Blade even without the Smasher, there are the HF blades and the Gravity cannon as well as his huge reflexes and reaction time thanks to his sensors. There is also the black hole cannon but unless sho finds a way to shoot it faster than he does he wont be able to hit blade and that is a big if since Blade's armor is made to withstand the hazards of space in theory he should be able to escape the gravitational pull of a black hole, this is a theory of course, I'm trying to think of other ways that a guyver could be a threat to a Tekkaman. edit: I'm not going to count the guyvers head beam cause Lisker used it against sho and it barely do a thing to him so by that extent it would just bounce off Blade, unless he used it to blind him or something which could work.

Like Kenji said, Blade took one from point blank so I think we should put The Guyver in the center as well, although of course he could always go Gigantic and use barrier but I don't know if that would be strong enough to withstand it, I think it does but I'm just here trying to debate who would win if they ever thought each other, I mentioned the nuclear blast to stress how strong is blades defenses that could have an edge over Guyver 1, if anything the guyver has an advantage in versatility at least, he has many weapons to his disposal while Blade only has his tekk lance, his Volttekker and his blaster form. I had a discussion with Danny over facebook that the Guyver could use the Black Hole Cannon or the Gigasmasher, while I think that could do the job, it is a big IF cause from what I have seen both attacks need time to charge in order to use and against a Speedy character like Blade I doubt he will get the chance to use those without any outside help. What do you guys think? Is anybody here think the Guyver could win?

Here is a Battle that is pretty interesting....a battle of Bioweapons, The Guyver Vs Tekkaman Blade, both are one of my favorite characters of all time and both share similar abilities. Each character gets all their respective powers and Power ups (they have to be canon to their respective series) and of course the battleground has to be neutral so it does not give any advantage to any side. who do you think would win? In my opinion the fight is pretty close although there is one defining factor about Blade that I think beats the Guyver: his defenses, Blade has been shown to withstand a Nuclear blast something I don't think the guyver is able to do at least on his base form, aside from that there is something else that could be the winning move for blade in theory, if you guys have seen the Tekkaman Blade series you would know that a Voltteker is basically Blades version of the Megasmasher and on the sequel Tekkaman Blade 2 you see blade being so powerful that he is able to absorb an enemy Voltteker and use his own to send it back via Crash Intrude, my theory is if Blade could do something like that then doing it to the megasmasher should not be Impossible, if he can't then I can only see him beating the guyver by out-speeding him which he is able to do by flying and crash intrude, sure the Guyver has Exceed but take note that the moves he does in that form that a while to do and against a fast opponent like blade time is something you don't have.

All I think we could do is perhaps just keep promoting the site anyway we can (obviously), maybe affiliate with a known Japan/Tokusatsu site like Jefusion or henshin fever and ask them if they could post on their blogs whenever a new scanlation of Guyver is up so people will know? I can't think of anything else that could work as effective as that at the moment.

In a way I would agree to make him the director since I did like how he explains in the batman films how every gadget works and stuff which is something that the guyver series is known for but on the other hand his movies get a bit too preachy and the action scenes where not that really great so I have mixed opinions on that.

I just thought I would finally share something I have been working with for quite some time (a year give or take) it will be a free graphic novel based on a Local Super Hero I'm making and aside of going against the typical criminals he will also be facing supernatural beings based on Puerto Rican Folklore, I have not decided on his name yet, any opinions or Constructive Criticism are always welcome.

The latest Busters episode left me with mixed feelings, on one hand it was emotional and suspenseful but at the same time the revelations of what Enter and Escape are and the episodes "climax" gave me more questions than answers as well as a bit of a disappointment, there are still about 20 more episodes or so left so I know that this is not the real end and there is some dark schemes yet to be revealed so here is hoping that it is all good cause this series just keeps getting better and better, on a side note the new Gavan will be appearing on the next episode so I guess they really are reviving the metal heroes back, I will post a new thread to discuss this later.

Have anybody seen the most recent Go-busters episode? it is already subbed by Overtime and I must say it gave me the chills as well as gave me more reasons to like Enter and hate Escape who I am convinced is only there to provide extra muscle for Enter (which he doesn't need since he has demonstrated that he is more than capable to handle all the Go-Buster by himself without breaking a sweat). Another thing I want to say is a theory as to why Enter is so devoted to Messiah, Enter being a much more intimidating villain I find it hard to believe that he is just a Henchman, I believe that he is secretly letting him evolve and get stronger in order for him to take his power and use it by himself, who knows...maybe Enter is the guy who made Messiah or made him go Rouge trying to find a way to make himself be powerful or maybe I'm reading too much into it, anyways Enter is awesome and I will keep watching Go-buster until the end. I'm also going to be watching Hurricangers as well since Ryuki has been talking good things about it now it has peeked my interest. btw..my favorite Go-Buster is Ryuji, he is the most interesting of the team, his power and weakness complement each other well and is the one that has had the most development Yoko being my least favorite.

well, It could be the one Archanfel extracted from Guyver 0 right? if I'm not mistaken it was never revealed what happened to that unit after the battle, he could have taken it for safekeeping although it begs the question if he had the unit why did he not use it until now? and if he is a guyver Zoalord how the heck will sho be able to defeat him, I wonder since his capabilities far exeed that of a guyver with a regular human host.

One thing I can say for sure, I'm not too fond of the music, it just does not give me that feel that we are dealing with magic, does not feel mystical at all and the opening song seems off to me, even tho Fourze was an average series I loved its music a lot, maybe if I hear the lirycs to this new opening I will change my mind a bit but in the mean time i don't really like it since i was hoping something in the lines of this: or this:

well I heard that ppl like Power Rangers in Japan and in a way if it wasn't for Power Rangers super sentai would have not have catched on as much as it does now worldwide so it would make sense that they would also celebrate or do a sort of tribute for Power Rangers altough Go-busters is in a way a tribute to Power Rangers.

I could not sleep so I was just checking out any tokusatsu news and I stumbled upon this juicy bit, apparently the name for the 37th super sentai series has already been registered called Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger , From what i have gathered the name implies that the theme for this particular series will be of dinosaurs again which is not a bad idea to me since it would have to be about 20 years give or take since Zyuranger and Power Rangers was aired so it could be yet another tribute to both series, any speculations and confirmations of the name are welcomed and as soon as I see some images for this new series I will share it with you. Overtime subs, they are usually the first ones to sub kamen rider episodes and super sentai as well, the only drawback is that they don't put those stylized subs to make it more appealing like TV nihon does, their translations are pretty good in my opinion.

Well I watched the first episode of wizard yesterday and my first impression is : Not bad, it established who are the bad-guys, who is the good guy as well as his abilities. The special effects where nice too although I am not too fond of his singing belt except for the part where it says Please which did not make sense until I remember that "Please is the magic word" which made me chuckle a bit. PROS Monster design. Wizards design: simple but effective. Special Effects. A Magic belt saying Please. Wizards abilities and toys are very interesting. Choreograhy was pretty nice. Dat Rider Kick. Cons The plot so far seems very predictable as well as you can basically figure out things that are bound to happen later in the series taken from other series like Faiz or Ozu. The exposition and the acting seemed a little forced but got the job done. Another singing belt, not a very good one either (at least for me), it will take some time for me to get used to it. Wtf "Life is Showtime" make no freaking sense..

I agree with you completely Ryuki, Go-Busters have officially become one of my favorite super sentai shows so far (although I don't watch a lot of super sentai). what do you guys think of the series so far, some people apparently don't like Go-Busters for some odd reason so I'm curious to hear your opinions, as for me I love everything about it, the plot was well thought out and interesting, they made the series very technical explaining how everything works from the go-busters to the Buster machines also giving it a sorta realistic feel, I also like the Power Rangers references they have in the series which so far are: 1. The morphers shout "It's Morphing time" 2. The giant monsters are called Megazords. 3. Evil Zordon aka Messiah (the total oposite to Zordon, A floating head that is evil, impatient, not very wise and always angry) I also very much LOVE ENTER as a villain, he is very intelligent, resourceful, a badass, cunning and more than a match against any of the Go-busters and he is the first villain i have seen so far that has won against the good guys making him a big threat and he is not even the "big boss" , ESCAPE on the other hand is to me very annoying and useless, I don't even know why she was introduced in the first place since she has accomplished practically nothing compared to ENTER, maybe we will get to see her do more later on aside from being a good fighter but for now I don't like her.

That's ok everyone has their own style and this game allows you to do just that thus I like to experiment a lot to see which is the most fun, I also try to go as fast and aggresive as possible and improvise depending on the situation so I don't use characters like Reyn a lot since I don't like to defend that much.

I sat through the entire review and frankly i did not like it at all, they where trying too hard and their points where illogical and sometimes stupid as well, It was a long time since I saw the review but I do remember that they where trying too hard to be like the guys from that guy with the glasses instead of doing their own thing, they also did not do research on the series history to bring people up to speed of where the series comes , overall it was badly made and a review has to be at least in the 1 hour mark max cause you risk of boring your viewers if you do it too long like they did, a good example of reviewing an entire series would be like Linkara who has an alternate show called history of power rangers where he reviews an entire season mostly in in under an hour and makes a lot of research to bring interesting trivia of the season in question and stuff, another example would be EZ Rider who has a show called toku time where he reviews anything toku related but mostly Kamen rider or Super Sentai with a bit of humor that can be hit or miss some times, I suggest you guys watch them if you haven't cause they are pretty entertaining and have lots of knowledege of the genre.

yea it did, that is what a build is in Rpg terms, a way to making a specific character do a particular play style, i for one saw him effective in doing accumulated damage so I gave him spike gems and raised his Ether as well. I finally finished reconstructing Colony 6 so I got the ether mine maxed in terms of gems you can harvest. With Dunban since he does not have that much HP I concentrated on making him very agile and strong so I raised his attack and agility making the enemy miss A LOT when facing him (I do the same for shulk), as for melia it is obvious to raise her Ether since i think she is mostly magic and is the one that deals the most damage in the game with her lightning bullets, and if you link her with Reyn's ability to equip heavy armor she can at least survive more often.

I certainly hope so, from what i can tell they are at least making Godzilla fight a giant monster so that looks like its heading in the right direction although I do have some concerns about what the director said on the san diego comic con panel, he said that he wanted to give a realistic feel to godzilla and as we all know, you just can't do that first of all it is a giant atomic breathing lizard that depending on the writer is at least 100 feet tall, a creature like that can't be on the real world not to mention you can't even aproach it, it's all fiction and it should stay that way, I just want 4 things to be consistant with Godzilla: 1) Godzilla is a giant Lizard that Breaths atomic breath 2) He is indestructible so the army CAN'T take it down, just another monster of equal of greater strength. 3) He fights other monsters (they really need to be creative on this part cause just fighting the military gets boring quick. other than that is an after thought, most godzilla films are not meant to be deep although it is debatable since the first one had a good message, and final wars was trying to be meaningful, but it is just all just crazy over the top monster battles that are meant for you to just enjoy the ride and not think to much of it, if they somehow manage to make a very good story with some hidden message then I am all for it, just give Godzilla enough screentime to make the movie at least worth watching cause ppl are not going to whatch a Godzilla movie for the humans, they are going for Godzilla.

as always your coloring is always good Ryuki, although if you don't mind me commenting you need to work a bit more on your fire effects, the shapes look a bit odd to me.
