i like it because its the first runthrough, and it something i watched when i was very little. Having an improved version gives me a different feel, and although certain aspects may be better, id rather watch the first run for nostalgic purposes.

i only saw english because it was on like cartoon network when i was flipping through. Do you mean finish dragonball? or finish the first version of Z?

has anyone watched dragonball kai? I saw a couple english episodes and hated it.

although im not sure its actually considered an anime, i just finished the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" sereis that was on nick a while back. i watched it to compare it to the movie, and i really liked it. Before that, i watched DragonBall Z again, which i enjoyed, but over two hundred episodes got to be annoying. I also watched Ruroni Kenshin, which i thought was decent. And then Yu Yu Hakusho, which i vaguely remembered from begin a kid, and absolutely loved. Kurama all the way. I used to watch bleach, and i used to love it. I got up to the arrancar (appologize for spelling, its been a while) arc, and then they dove into all these side arcs and i just gave up. The side arcs were annoying before, but there was like two or three in a row. and i read up on the new episodes, and now their zanpakos become people? too much for my taste.

i like Barcas as well, but to me, he seems to fit the mad scientist archtype too much, and that somewhat diminishes my liking of him. im still waiting to see his zoaform, i think that will be the final determing factor to tell if i really like him as a villian. i mean, yes hes sadistic, and i like the loyalty and the control he seems to hold in archanfels absence, but for me, its a BA zoaform that will really complete him. so im waiting for that.

thats interesting. i cant say im surprised that people have chosen archanfel. Purgstall is someone i wasnt expecting, but a good choice none the less. as for guyot... personally, i couldnt stand guyot. im not against anyone who likes him, to each his own, but me personally, i thought his zoaform was hideous, he was rebellious which i wasnt fond of, in fact, the only thing i liked about him was he had pretty sweet powers. the gravity bullet was pretty awesome. other than that, not a guyot fan. still, thats why i wanted to start this topic, i like to see what everyone thinks. its just my personal opinion.

OK, so continuing from the other topic: while were talking about zoalords, i was also thinking about this while reading through last week: in a large organization, there is bound to be many different reasons as to why people "like" the characters they do. i feel people gravitate towards one character in a series because that character reflects aspects of the individuals personality, or reflects aspects that the individual wishes to express but cannot for whatever reason (e.g sometimes people prefer a violent character because social restrictions expect them to avoid violence) so i was just wondering while i was reading through, something i wanted to ask my friends on here: who is your favorite zoalord, and why? am i right, does he reflect your personality within the manga, or is he someone you wish you could be? does he have cool powers? or does he just downright look cool? i was just currious. i suppose i will answer my own question Very rarely do i like leaders of organizations or groups, but i do like Archanfel. im not sure how to put it, but i feel he just demands this sort of respect from people, yet he remains mysterious, yet at the same time, hes shown he kicks butt. however, very close to archanfel if not topping is Shin. i like his character more than i like his Zoaform, seing as how weve only seen it once, and for only a few seconds (well, pages) but i like his personality within the manga. if you poll, (providing i set it up right and you actually can poll seeing as how ive never done one before) please post a response as well, id like to hear why you chose who you did.

if angels and demons do exist i think their existance has become somewhat diluted over the years and the many different religions. if they were in fact an acting force in the beginging of times, or still are, residing in heaven and hell, doing the bidding of the lord and of satan, than thats fine, but nowadays, i think angels and demons represent somethig different. i dont think generally people think of an angel or a demon without thinking of good or evil. Demons have allways been represented as generally malevolent spirits, and angels as peaceful and holy messangers of god, and so i think that in present times, when the idea of a physical angel has become so diluted, that angels and demons are more sometihng people use to represent good and evil. angels, the soldiers, messangers of god, who loves and protects everyone with his power, is something very good and angels are seen as a force of light. Demons, a malevolent spirit bent of destroying humans and only willing to do satans bidding, very evil and corrupt. this is what i think of angels and demons now, that they are much less something that is going to posses you or protect you (guardian angel) but as a general concept to describe good and evil. im not saying they dont exist. i still believe in them, so just to clarify: Demon- a force used by satan to posses the spirits of weak willed humans, corrupting them, turning them against their lord and savior, preparing their souls for the coming of the antichrist so that satan can have an army ready to use on earth through all the corrupted souls. he will use the demons as a mediation to get to the humans so that his aquisition of earth goes more smoothly. Angels- messangers of god, with gods infinite power and wisdom, he often times needs help looking over the billions of people who need his protection, so he sends angels to do that (where we get the term guardian angels) they protect the individual that they are looking over, transmitting them a more concentrated form of gods embrace. in the end times, during the final battle and the second coming, i feel it will be the angels who fight to rid the souls of the demons and of satans embrace to prepare them for their ascent into the kingdom of god. (note, this is just my personal beliefe, im not saying its correct, and im not saying you have to listen to it, im just giving my response to the topic for the sake of conversation, if you dissagree, say so, i am open minded about my beliefes.)

i agree with that. i feel that faith gives the followers a sort of calmness that can only be brought about by a divine force. its something to believe in that is higher than themselves, something they can devote all their attention to without having to have concrete and absolute proof, something that requires the highest level of devotion to give yourself to something you cannot see, that is why they call it faith, becuase you simply must believe. that is, for people who are religious. im not saying you have to be, im just saying as someone who wasnt before, and then converted later in life when religion seemed to make more "sense" to me, it has given me something i never had before, something i would never give back, that sort of calmness or sense of security. because my close family is not religious i had to find religion on my own, somehting i have been happy to have as i went through life. however, that deviates away from the topic, so i dont want to elaborate too much on that.

god, she is the worst character in the WORLD! i absolutely cannot stand her. *SPOILERS* when she got captured i actually stopped watching the show, becuase i didnt wanna see ichigo trying to rescue her when she doesnt desserve it. so annoying.

*whistles* dang. ive got about 50 caps, and no mor than 20 rounds at max for a few of my weapons.

thank you. i was thinking about heading towards the main storyline again, going to the radio station tower thing. also i went to the minefield today, it wasnt too bad aside from the sniper who was totally owning me the whole time, but i got him. i need a place to get lots of ammo, or a good way to get caps. thats my biggest problem atm.

i just saw it yesterday and i love id. ive never seen an episode of star treck in my life, but i seriously loved this movie. i got out of the theater and wanted to hop to another one just to go see it again. its one of the best movies ive seen so far this year.

Oriheme from bleach is by far the most annoying character ive ever come across in any show, ever anime or otherwise. dont even get me started on how much i hate her. i dont have anything against ichigo, but more so the author, becuase ichigo allways fights in the same predictable pattern, Use all his energy doing nothing, then wait for someone to monologue or for someone else to come save his butt. i dont remember his name, but i also hated that yo-yo kid from yu yu hakusho, during the dark tournament. he bothered me to no end with his yo-yos and his lack of fighting ablility.

sorry got my places mixed up, im still a Fallout noob. anyway grayditch is where the fire ants totally pwnd my existance. in arefu i got attacked by a super mutant which i fragged, and this robot thing that was totally invincible, i shot every part of its body with every one of my weapons but to no avail. how do i kill those fire ants anyway, they pissed me off. and moira wants me to go to this minefield, should i do that yet, or wait? P.S sorry for all the questions, i cant stop if its annoying anyone.

hmmm, ok, ill keep that in mind, thanks. i dont know what it was the first time, but im actualy really enjoying it. i was playing on hard, so i turned it down one notch, maybe thats making it more tolerable, because i dont die. i was in arefu most of the day, and did a good job until these fire ant things surrounded me and i couldnt get away from their hot breath, so i died. but other than that, im doing good.

ok, ill start to level those up first. also, do i have to do alot of side quests before continuing to the radio station? or are the enemies there and on the way managable. im at level 4 right now.

i put most of my skills into big guns and explosives, because that sounded most exciting. but even when i went to the school the first time, i got bull rushed by like ten guys and i got totally pwnd. i was just playing, and i was in arefu and started to wander towards this area that the sherrif told me to do, and this super mutant and robot thing started to eat me alive (not literally). thats the sort of thing that irritated me when i first started, and caused me to quite. i dont know, maybe i just have to learn where and where not to go. right now im doing the super duper mart mission, err quest for moira, the internet said that helps to get some weapons. im also thinking of boosting my locksmith ability, is that useful later on, because it seems like now theres alot of things to unlock, and ive only been to two places really.

i started playing it again today, and it wasnt too hard, i only really came across a dog and a mole rat, but they werent bad. i found some raiders but i ran from them. maybe i was doing something wrong and thats why i was getting killed. im gonna keep playing it and see if it gets easier, maybe jsut early game was harder than i expected or something, i dont know.

i definetly think dragons were real at one time. however that doesnt mean its exactly like the media nowadays depicts it. think about nessie for a moment. we dont know if its real or not, we only have sightings and deticated science to go off. however, people all around the world report plessiosaurs (excuse my spelling) in bodies of water, nessie in scotlands, champ in lake champlain, the monster of monterey in California. its everywhere. one side says it would be hard to make that up, another says its just people trying to make a name by making something up. however, there are many differant types of dragons if you believe present day books and media. things such as water dragons, land dragons, cave dragons, who would survive in differant habitats much like a snow leopard or jaguar. theres also American dragons, chinese dragons, brittish dragons. ive seen pictures and read stories about supposid cases of all of theses. that would truly be hard to make up, and if it was a fabrication or simply a lie, its a very grand scale one. my viewpoint currently stands as such: theres two sides of me, one that thinks logically, and understands what others were saying about evolution and such. and another side that wants to believe that the world still escapes mans understanding, or that dragons did at one time exist. theres no science to prove that, but that doesnt mean its not true.

no offense to anyone, but i never got into Fallout 3. i played it for like two weeks, got killed at least twice a day of playing. finally got to the first town, and couldnt do much of anything. then i left and got killed again. so i gave up. i never got very far becuase it just aggitated me so much to keep getting owned all the time.
