Godzilla
No prob. I do hope that the actual artwork in the pages will look better than the promo pic and they probably will be. I like most of the character designs, but there were a few things that bugged me in the promo pic like Godzilla's tail. It just looks weird to me. Kumonga, Mothra, and Rodan look great. Apart from his tail, Godzilla looks great. Not quite sure on how I feel about Anguirus and King Ghidorah. King Ghidorah looks fearsome, which I like but I also kinda got a Kaiser Ghidorah vibe from him for some reason, which I don't like. I just don't know about Anguirus. I have no real opinion on him for some reason. I do really like the cover for the first issue. That looks really impressive.

Godzilla
Been needing to give updates on the upcoming IDW Godzilla comic but I keep forgetting to do it. Here is are a few links to some info about it: http://www.tohokingdom.com/news/2010/12-16_godzilla_monster_world.html http://www.idwpublishing.com/news/article/1539/ Some promo art, I believe, for the comic: http://www.ifanboy.com/files/images/pmontgomery/GodzillaMW01_cvrB_Powell.jpg Personally, I'm getting really excited for this considering we're getting some big names on this series like Alex Ross. It makes me relieved that we'll be getting some people who'll treat the characters with respect. I also like the idea of the story. I hope that IDW can get Bob Eggleton, Chris Scalf, or Arthur Adams to do some artwork for the comics considering they have done some impressive artwork like this:

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon
Dark of the Moon is actually a scientific term: http://www.halexandria.org/dward381.htm Agreed, he would probably would mess up Unicron if he appears in the movie.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon
Shockwave is confirmed to be in the movie, not sure if he's gonna be the main villain but he's definitely in it as well as Soundwave (who is going to have more of a role, If I remember Correctly). If Unicron is in the movie, they should have James Earl Jones do the voice for him. I think he's the only one who could do Unicron justice, especially considering Orson Welles did the voice of him in the first Transformers movie that came out in 1986.

So....you think he got that quilt okay?
I too have been wondering about that quilt. It would be a shame if he didn't get it.

What live-action series are you watching or have you watched?
I've watched: -All of the Godzilla movies (plus the 1998 remake) -Several of the Toho monster movies (War of the Gargantuas, Frankenstein Conquers the World, Rodan, Mothra, the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy, etc.) -Most of the Gamera series except for Super Monster Gamera and Gamera the Brave -Seen most of the lesser known Japanese kaiju films like The X from Outer Space and Gappa. -Seen a few Korean kaiju films like The Host, Yongary (both the original and the remake), D-War, and I'm planning to get CHAW soon. -I've seen the original Ultraman series, Ultraman Nexus (Plus Ultraman the Next), Ultraman Max, Ultraman Mebius (Plus all of the Gaidens and Movies), Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle (Haven't seen NEO yet, but I do have the Ultra Galaxy movie) -Seen GARO plus the Gaiden and Beast of the White Night -Seen a few episodes of Kamen Rider Kiva, haven't gotten around to watching all of it. I think I only got up to episode 5. -Not sure if this one counts, but I saw Zebraman by Takashi Miike.

Godzilla
Marvel comics did a few Godzilla comics back in the 70s and 80s and then Dark Horse did some back in the late 80s and 90s. Then there were a few mangas of the Heisei Godzilla films (or at least most of them, I think) and Godzilla 2000. I happen have the first issue of the Marvel Comics Godzilla series. http://www.tohokingdom.com/comics.htm#jm

Godzilla
That website is old. Also, we got new info about the Godzilla comic: http://kaijucast.com/2010/10/08/10-08-2010-godzillas-triumphant-return-to-sequential-art/ Personally, I wasn't surprised that Spacegodzilla, Destoroyah, Battra, and Titanosaurus were returning. But I am certainly excited to see them return. I wonder how they're gonna handle Spacegodzilla's origin though.

Godzilla
Turns out that there will be a new Godzilla comic book series from IDW Publishing and it will be coming out in February 2011: http://splashpage.mtv.com/2010/10/08/nycc-exclusive-godzilla-comics-idw-toho/ I'm excited for this. We may be getting new monsters and returns of old faves. Personally, I hope that they keep Krystalak and Obsidius out of the comics. I just didn't like them. Obby was just your generic lava monster and Krystalak was just bleh. I'm interested in seeing what these new monsters could be. Perhaps they could be some of the trading card game monsters or maybe Bagan.

Here's some info about the Legendary Pictures Godzilla film if anybody is interested, it's not much though.

Godzilla
Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, the first of the Kiryu Duology. Basically, if you've seen this one then you already know the plot of the second one but add in Mothra.

Godzilla
Not a fan of the Kong suit, other than that it was decent. I wanna see the Japanese version though since the American version butchered it. Godzilla didn't look scary, he looked high in RoG/G1985. Much like the first Godzilla movie and KKvG, the American and Japanese versions have alot of differences. I want to watch the Japanese version as well just to see how different it is. There were some things in the American version that I liked like Raymond Burr's speech at the end.

Godzilla
Which one(s)? There's 5 Mechagodzilla movies and there are 3 versions of Mecha Godzilla. Either way, I'd recommend the Showa Mechagodzilla movies as I felt that they were the best out of the Mechagodzilla movies.

Godzilla
I have to disagree with you, ZoneFighter. GMK and Godzilla vs Biollante were two of the better Godzilla movies. Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla (SpaceGodzilla itself was an awesome monster, but was stuck in a crappy movie), Godzilla vs Mothra (1992), and Final Wars were some of the worst Godzilla movies ever made.

Godzilla
You can print out the design and iron it onto your shirt. That's what I'm planning to do. Oh and there have been scammers who are doing what I'm planning to do except that they're selling their shirts and saying that they're official comic con shirts while I'm not selling my shirt. I'm just making it for me and me only. Link if somebody wants to print out the pic: http://www.talkingdogstudios.com/ar/gojira/assets/images/gojira_page.pdf I have to kinda nitpick at this, but Godzilla's left hand looks a bit weird and he's got a fat neck. Also, it's probably not the final design but I think its safe to say that the final design will look similar to this. EDIT: Turns out that was just promotional art, not concept art.

Godzilla
At comic con, they've been giving away shirts that have this in front of them: More info here: http://talkingdogar.blogspot.com/2010/07/talking-dog-makes-hollywood-connection.html I approve of this Godzilla, looks very badass.

Kamen Rider OOO spoiler/update thread
Y'know, when I first saw the title I thought, "Are they making a Kamen Rider cereal?". While that isn't the case (though it would be awesome), this new KR does look interesting. I'll have to keep my eye on it.

Favorite Zoalord
Well, there is that Guyver VDF book, maybe Takaya will make a second one and have more details about the Zoalords.

Favorite Zoalord
I'm not surprised considering Li Yentsui had hardly any character development. I do wish that the other Zoalords like Li Yentsui, Khan and Caerleon get more character development.

if you like naruto...
I'd recommend Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and Heroic Age if you haven't watched any of those. All of the Heroic Age episodes are on youtube and I think YYH is also on youtube, not certain about RK though. YYH is pretty face paced and it is sorta like the Dragonball series. For some reason, I really enjoy the music in YYH. Heroic Age is pretty good, the animation is stunning, the plot was pretty good, the fights are epic and I liked the music. It does have mechs in it, which I'm not sure if you'd like or not, but they're not really the main focus of the show. I haven't seen Rurouni Kenshin in a long time, but it's got samurai and ass kicking and that's all you need to know.

Naruto
Which Akatsuki member do you guys like the most? I think it's gotta be either Kisame or Tobi. Tobi is a good boy (Whac-A-Mole Jutsu ftw), but Kisame is just badass.

Power Rangers Samurai
THANK GOD! I always felt that Saban's PR shows were better than Disney's PR shows. With Saban getting Power Rangers back, that just made my day.

Godzilla
You are correct. Clover is a just a baby. More Clover info: http://cloverfield.wikia.com/wiki/Clover As for a Cloverfield vs Godzilla, that wouldn't happen since Cloverfield is from Paramount and Godzilla is Toho's property. One company would need to pay for the rights to get the other character and I know that Godzilla's rights cost quite a bit (though I think King Kong is even pricier). Not sure how much getting the rights for Clover would cost, but I doubt Toho would try to get the rights for Clover.

Godzilla
The Super Godzilla video game came out before GvSG. Space Godzilla's design was based on Super Godzilla's design. I don't remember the full story on this at the moment. I also have the game. Kinda fun. I'd rather have my Gigan be a coward then an idiot. He gets to live to fight another day. If I remember Correctly, GFW Gigan didn't seem very intelligent. Daiei kaiju with the exception of Daimajin I think are considered frail in comparison to most Toho Kaiju. Legion got her wings blown off by regular jets. That doesn't say much for her durability. Gamera was taken down by the army in GOTU as well (and they didn't need any fancy superweapons like the Super X either). Again, that doesn't say much for durability as well. Any decently powered Toho Kaiju could probably put down any of the Daiei Kaiju. Considering this is an American remake, I highly doubt most of it will take place in Japan. From what I hear, he is supposedly going to fight a monster. The source I got that from is reliable, but I am also considering the fact that the script can change and stuff. So it could end up just being Godzilla by himself (which I doubt). Most of the people who are gonna want to see this are probably wanting to see giant monsters beating the crap out of each other. Plus, I think they could explain Godzilla's origin to the audience in just a quick little flashback. I mean, he's a giant radioactive dinosaur, what else do you need to explain? Just show a few scenes of an A-bomb going off and a Godzillasaurus and I think the audience will get it. Umm, I don't think they could make a weapon like the Oxygen Destroyer. Besides that, Godzilla has been harmed/stopped by some of the super weapons like the Super X's Cadmium missiles, SMG's G-Crushers, Super X III's freezing rays, etc. It's been confirmed that they're doing another remake, dude. I found PJ's KK to be rather boring. They also dragged Kong's death for way too long, it felt like it took him forever to die.
