that fan is INSANE. you need to improve your memory really, it's holding you back. even I have 2GB memory and my computer is not as fancy as yours. the memory is something I want to upgrade on my computer. it would run a LOT better with more memory. at the moment, it struggles with running firefox and games at the same time. yeah, I would like to visit Russia. When i am able to start travelling, I plan to visit Russia.
  2. hmm, it';s funny i looked in this thread. i would normally ignore it since i don't read much of anything at all. ; i have started the sword of shannara and i'm pretty much at the same place as I was when i posted my last comment.
  3. actually, that is fairly interesting because that is how it has been suggested by many philosophers. that we are each a mirror image of each other. and we are also a mirror image of everything else in the universe, flower, book, etc. but what i would say is that the way it appears differently would be distortion. like a hall of mirrors, but much more complex.
  4. very intriguing video. -- CHRISTIAN TURNED ATHEIST BY TRIBE! - amazing story! (theUKatheist) http://t.co/iF5UkL5R via @youtube

  5. one would have to remember that energy cannot be destroyed. so nothing would be producing the energy, it would have already been there. having said that, I'm not sure I'm on the same page as you because i've not heard the terms quantum foam or virtual photon before. if I'm understanding correctly, we might be referring to the pattern of our universe that would have given rise to our existence, otherwise referred to as the big bang? well the way i usually approach this is the idea that something can be in an infinite number of states until it is observed. in this scenario, one might ascertain that this pattern is merely the product of a dream, or to put it another way, as a consciousness perceives the universe it spontaneously 'is'. the pattern is a product of perception and nothing more or less. I'd like to make reference to the book "the four agreements" by don miguel ruiz.
  6. balls. I left my food for less than a minute, when i came back i spotted two tiny flies escaping from off of my bread. bastards. need a trap

  7. I don't know, you'd have to ask the people who came up with that idea. i'm sure you can find information on that via google. if you want my ideas on how this works, read Eether's post. he says pretty much the same thing that I would.
  8. #xfactor need to get rid of Louis Walsh. Whatever category he gets, he ruins. Sami Brookes was bullied into all the wrong songs.

  9. wow, I've just learned that 'kamikaze' was named after a divine wind that protected japan from mongol invaders 900 years ago :) very cool!

  11. there is a lot of thought and ideas about what lifeforce is or chi. one suggestion was that ATP was 'lifeforce' but personally, I just classify that as stored potential energy, and not indicative of 'life'. (atp is adenotriphosphate or something like that, a compound in our cells that carries energy like sugar) one thought that I have had is that without some kind of 'blueprint', our bodies would not remain in the proper form or act in a proper system as they do. I have often through that the cause of cancer, could be a 'broken template' in which the cells are no longer regulated properly because of some 'spiritual injury' or something like that. I believe this 'template' is part of our etheric body, a higher dimensional construct that channels the will of our spiritual self into our physical projection. this is not so far fetched as it does somewhat echo some of the theories that I have red about our universe being a hologram. I haven't really picked this apart too strongly though so at the moment i welcome positive criticism on this.
  12. of course. I can help out with what i know. but I am by no means an expert in grammar. and structure. i'll make use of examples to show a grammatical structure. first thing I'll say is that Japanese makes use of a lot of implied context. for for example, instead of saying to you, my bike is very fast. I might say "bike very fast" in japanese of coure. but that should give you a good idea. so if i were to then follow with a japanese phrase - 赤ã„自転車ãŒå¥½ãã§ã™ã€‚I'll tell you straight up that this means, 'I love the red bike'. I won't write the english words in japanese order like some try to do, because the words are not equivalent. instead i'll tell you each bit. 赤ㄠis red. 自転車is bicycle. ㌠is the object indicator. 好ã is favourite or 'like'. ã§ã™ mean 'it is'. so you see, the sentence structure is subject, object, verb. well actually, the subject was implied in this case. so you do't see the subject in this example. the subject is myself. so to tell it in full, I would say ç§ã¯èµ¤ã„自転車ãŒå¥½ãã§ã™ã€‚ another thing to note is that suki is the verb here, but in some ways we could consider it a pronoun adverb(?). because it is more similar to our use of the word 'favourite' rather than our use of the term 'to like'. does this make any sense? in all honesty, this is the type fo thing that comes clearer through experience and being exposed to the language so don't worry if you don't fully get it. I also considered that some people aren't fully sure about subject, object and other grammatical terms. this works in any language because it's part of language full stop. the subject is the main thing that the sentence is about. the object is the something else that is being considered. in relation to the subject. actually, in english, emphasis can define which is the subject or the object. in japanese, it seems to be expressly indicated. 㯠indicated subject, ㌠indicates object. in english if we emphasise certain parts you can get the following - JOHN likes peas. . in this case, john is the object and peas is the subject and would be the answer to such a question as "who likes peas?" John likes PEAS. . in this case, john is the subject and peas is the object and would be the answer to such a question as "what does John like?" hope that makes this clear, unless you already knew it well enough XD
  13. thanks I must have written it wrong or you would have gotten it. it isn't what you have suggested though. I was aiming for
  14. ok I wrote this - 幼ã‹ã‚‰ã€åƒ•ã®å¤¢ãŒã‚‚ã£ã¨å°ã•ã„ã¨ã„ã¾ã™ï¼ now, this was quite adventurous for me since I am not completely familiar with this sentence type. I believe i have gotten it right but i hope that durendal can tell me what it says and hopefully i said it correctly. if you ut it in a spoilers tag, then river can still try working it out.

  16. Blizzard have captured my heart with Mists of Pandaren. Pretty devious to make a game based heavily on East Asia. I can't pass that up.

  17. yeah i tried watching fairy tail. it was fairly dank for me to be honest. I'm not sure how to fully describe this but some series just feel sort of mouldy to me. like they are copied off of another series but don't have enough light of their own to really shine. fairy tail didn't really feel like it was going anywhere and seemed more like it was trying to do what naruto did but changing a few major things to try and hide that intention.
  18. this jcp pisses me off so much. "we've changed your appointment" without so much as a freaking 'by your leave'!

  19. ha ha ha, I just tried to see if japanese concent could be from french. the variation conne cent came out as "bitch one hundred"XD

  20. i've heard of it before, i think it is good that they are remaking it because it gives me chance to enjoy it alongside all the new viewers. i sometimes feel lonely watching old series' because i am aware that hardly anybody is watching it at the same time as me.
  21. relationships with people - I recently lost a friend. not to death or anything like that, but simply did... http://t.co/yB2nwMP0
