I can manage a lightly coloured sketch at least. this is my take on it.

it's very inspiring. it really makes me want to do some art work and try and surpass it in my own way. are artists supposed to be competitive? well I don't think i have time to do any work anyway, not after the 3 month piece i did before. really nice work there lilian! it's really grotesque and as such is in the spirit of guyver.

I tried searching a larger version of that first image, I don't think it exists on the net. I might be able to obtain it for you, let me ask around.

please keep posting the art, these are really nice and i have not seen them before abut the one you asked for, you'll need to be patient, this forum is not as fast as some of the more popular ones.

yeah he uses the same space warping technique as archanfel. I'm surprised at other people's surprise XD I always remember these things clearly. but then I always have remembered things like this, people remarked about it before. salkafar, you are correct, there were images if multiple Arks. but what i was saying earlier is that those were conceptual images given to archanfel by the uranus. I can't remember which chapter, I'll have a look now. edit: here - I always viewed this as a purely conceptual image as we didn't see them in other scenes depicting the uranus arriving and departing. of course there is a high likelihood from these images that the ark was a uranus design that was adapted by barcas et al to include the technological interface. I am certain there would have been some other form of interface in the creators design possibly requiring a navigation sphere or something similar.

yeah, alky was asleep on his chopping block. barcas went to plead with him and thence he awoke shining with brilliance. I don't think this is the case anyhow. I mean I don't think the logic necessarily follows or is required. if it were silha and apollon were not known to archy and imakarum, then they would surely detect the spacial distortion that he would have no doubt used within the temple or close by. so no need to worry about archy's crystal. but anyway, if this were not silha, I can see no reason why there would be reliefs depicting archanfel. we could say that other temples were made in other places for the purposes of worship alone... but I consider that unlikely. I'm just giving my thoughts here. not really going anywhere with it or trying to make any particular point.

I see what you're saying about the head looking like majinger zet. your artwork is cool, but maybe going a bit too far off topic I think that would be cool to put in the imagery section as your own art thread, maybe you could show us more of your work?

about mizukis' shoes, she could have found polly's shoe cupboard. alternatively, when they were on the roof, guyot could have took her to one side and told her how he got his armour when he was previously bare chested. when guyot was shown on quadriga for the first time, he was bare chested. what we all don't realise is that during that time, guyot was praying to the great deity 'takaya' asking for some cool armour. he told this to mizuki in secret because he saw her bare feet and felt a little guilty for chasing them. he thought she might get a splinter and he is actually a big softy. not to mention he doesn't like the sight of blood or to let people see his nipples.

Alternatively, somebody who does not know guyver, could look at some zoanoids and think, "well it's some monster or something", and not really appreciate the art or the way it is laid out. I thought that was a good example because it shows actual people, something everyone can relate to. it shows action and it shows clearly the quality of the art in guyver. but that's just my opinion.

I'll pick one then somebody else can pick another. etc. I chose this one because it shows Agito's bravado and style.

we don't know this. I'm pretty sure the image of arks was a conceptual image. but what you were saying about Imakarum makes sense. it is said that 'Zeus' took on 'Cronos' with the help of 'Athena', 'Apollo', and 'Artemis'. 'Apollo' was the offspring of 'Zeus' so if the damage Gigantic Dark did to Imakarum caused him to become Apollon, that would make a lot of sense.

I think when it was suggested that we don't need names or that we shouldn't name them, that was a good idea because we would be arguing for months about names. I think the following characterises the existing arcs and after that I believe bbdudes names are sensible if names are really necessary. volume 01 - 01 volume 02 - 08 volume 09 - 17 volume 18 - 25 -Origin of the Guyver arc -Struggle at Mt. Minikami -Birth of the Gigantic -Rescue Aptom * if 1 volume is rejected as being too short then the other alternative is to have the following. volume 01 - 08 volume 09 - 17 volume 18 - 25
