If you had 3 wishes what would they be? I was looking up what people would ask for if they had 3 wishes. Here were some of the answers I found. I did not include my 3. The first one is the best one. It really made me laugh. Person 1.) 1 - Kate Beckinsale walks into my shop tomorrow, falls madly in love with me and we live happily ever after. 2 - The people of the state of Colorado decide that I should own all of it and the federal government agrees. 3 - Aliens come down from the skies and vaporize all politicians, religious leaders and parking ticket cops. Person 2.) 1) The ability to predict all important future events, including lottery numbers. 2) The ability to bring world peace into this world. 3) For all those involved in false flag operations to be tried and imprisoned. Person 3.) 1. I would wish for everything that everyone believes to become true, especially the contradictory stuff. 2. A god proof box large enough to live in. (with food/water supply, and by extension, proof against anything else) 3. Panopticon surveillance to watch the fun. Person 4.) #1 wish that all my moms "dreams" come true (she more than deserves it) #2 a bag full of money that instantly replaces any money thats taken out with duplicates #3 a device that can give you any type of superpower you want simply by typing the word of the superpower into the device that only i can use because it would require my DNA Person -Female- 5.) 1.) Good question and thats a very good point. What if Agito becomes a Guyver Zoalord. He's stolen a lot of Chronos's optimization equipment and a scientist that knows zoalord anatomy, the example being Grizelda/Shizu. You have a good point.

It doesn't seem like Barcas does a whole lot of anything but stand around optimization tanks and make hyper zoanoids and lost number types and scheme on how its going to kill the guyvers or Aptom. But when it comes to fighting, he just stands there shouting and yelling. He left himself wide open to Guyver 3's attack in the manga and almost died. Oh I know. Maybe Barcas just lacks common sense, or street smart skills. Which makes him combat retarded. Some people have book smart skills , which we know Barcas has( scientific and logical intelligence, lateral long term thoughts), and some people have street smart skills ( experience, quick thinking, able to act fast in bad situations, common sense).However since Barcas obviously doesn't think to fight- examples being " He could have attacked Richard and helped Alkenphel, he could have helped the other zoalords against Agito, and he left himself open and pretty much almost died because Agito blasted several holes in him using his rapid firing pressure cannon." These three things prove he is without common sense. If I were him I would have put up a fight. Thats just my views on Barcas and why he doesn't fight or maybe he can't fight. I guess thats part of what we do know.

I wouldn't be so sure about that for the reasons I stated above ... who wants to see a second season after 9 years? people like us!!!!!!!!!!!! its never too late!... all I would say to another season 1 is no thanks. if they were to do anything it may be OVA's that way they don't have to start a fresh to get a new audience and can continue the story, and then im sure Takaya would be on board to supervise. I'd really like to see a second season. But its always season one all over again. The 80's version portrayed season one, Guyver-out of control portrayed season, And the 2005 version portrayed season one. It just seems like a recurring cycle. But I agree with you and Waferdanos. I'm just veiwing at is "too late" from a production's point of view. I'd say no to another season one as well. It just seems we all cant get past season one. We're stuck with Sho versus Richard and Relics point every single time.

Strange, why doesn't anyone wish to be "universe-mass-level-matter and size and mass-shifting-being"? That's my first wish. 2) While being mary sue, I wish I can't affect Yoshiki Takaya, so he can run his Guyver manga normally. 3) No room for the third wish.

also to address 'shokusou' it takes out the 'strongly' part and takes out the armour part. it is sort of saying augment-binding. the 'binding' part is probably where 'bio' comes from. if you think about binding a book, you are fusing the components and so this method of binding is a biological fusion. when we say bio-booster armour, we are taking into account the 'strongly increase bound-armour' kanji, so technically it would be wrong to say bio-boost for agito. is there a lesser form of the word 'boost'? really not sure. but since the english title is bio-booster armour and agito's phrase uses the same kanji as the full title then we should really use the same words as the full title as well. that is the way I would explain it. well anyway it's already been explained about the title, but I guess I'll add my thoughts even if I am repeating what has already beensaid. it is 'strongly-increased bound-armour' or 'strongly increase binding armour' whatever tense you want to use. strongly increase binding is pretty much bio-boosting.

That's funny Just want to say that the Russian scanlators translate it almost like this. Or something like Power Multiplication Armor.

I'm not sure if the "bio-boost" was actually used in the manga or this was coined by Viz, but apparently this phrase caught on and has been used ever since. But it is the official translation. I can however explain some parts of it, as å¼·æ®– can mean enhancement or boosting. And since the guyver unit is a biological unit, it seemed just right to stick "bio" in front of it. Since the armor literally boosts the biological elements of the wearer, one can come up with bio-boost as a portmanteau of biological boosting. If that wasn't enough, the Japanese have the tendency to create english sounding names and write it differently in kanji. An example would be Zoanoid, but it is written in kanji as ç£åŒ–å…µ (Juukahei) or beast type soldiers, but we keep referring them to Zoanoids.

thinking about what will happen when guyver is over is an excellent way to breed anxiety. it's up there along with the likes of "what will happen when my significant other dies/ leaves me?" These are the kind of questions that do not serve us. as creatures of incredible intellect and adaptability, we are able to meet most situations with a constructive attitude if we so choose. I do not know what my life situation will be like when that time comes. I will do something, I do not know what, but it will be just as awesome as this. for me at least. I don't know if the other members will also appreciate it. but who knows, it's in the future. we might all be dead from (insert chosen apocalypse here)

plus tetsuo doesnt do anything because hes also A KID!!! these monsters are super powered would you like to tell me where hes gonna get a 50 caliber rifle. let alone learn how to use it lol jesus christ. plus tetuso isnt ment to do any fighting as much as he would probably like to. hes the conscience of the series in both series actually hes also the point of logic in many scenes pointing out things. in many ways hes a remote viewer much like the audience. murakami had to get his gun from someone else even then its custom made to kill zoianoids and he has to rely on his psychic abilites to help him almost every time he gets into a situation so what makes you think tetsuo is gonna be of any use other then just get in the way. This person who reviewed this is kind of a idiot. You just want everyone to kill monsters and have no weaknesses, the point of the guyver getting hurt from zoianoids is just that, it can be hurt its not a god lke weapon. it has weaknesses many actually, and thats what makes it interesting to watch the guyver isnt a undeafeatble killing machine, it can be matched, what makes it better is the user. its not about the battles, its about how hard sho fights, how hard agito fights, its about in-surmounting odds and over coming them. plus sho couldnt come close to giving away chronos because its clearly indicated that chronos owns everything. they are everywhere, they own the news, the cops, the press. they own everything. and the people who arent under their influence would just be killed. so going out in public and exposing your self as the guyver does nothing but give the innocent people around giant targets on their backs lol. If they can turn a whole town into zoanoids lol. who ever posted why guyver sucks is a smegging idiot. omg, they have no clue how writing works, sure the series isnt perfect nothing is. but what your sighting it for is just stupid. if your gonna say why something sucks you better have some damn good reasons, and do some smegging research before posting idiotic bullshit. ok for starters sho is a whiny bitch because his whole life has been ruined. any plans he had, any dreams or hopes of college or growing old perhaps dating mizuki or anything that resembles a somewhat normal life is gone. he will spend the rest of his days looking over his shoulders constantly aware that there is a evil organization that has tried to kill him any which way they can I mean for smeggs sake they made him kill his own dad.... Im going to assume in real life if you as a teenager were forced to kill your dad and he got turned into a horrifying monster you might be kind of depressed. Plus sho isnt a badass, its kind of told to us from the beginning in the manga and both anime adaptations that sho is a wuss, he is a regular teenager who cant even talk to mizuki let alone have her see his back were the two marks are. Hes a shy easily intimidated kid, so of course hes also get his ass handed to him in fights. and what training are you talking about in what time frame is he ever gonna be able to set aside loads of free time to train, they are kidnapping his friends, his family anyone they can to constantly put him on his feet moving. What little time sho got to train in the original OVA was from agito and that was bland because well lets see they tricked sho with a mizuki clone. the point of sho becoming the guyver is that he isnt a badass at all. he gets smegged up and hurt alot because hes A KID. Agito has had years of training so he knows very well how to defend him self even without the armor. The animation not be amazing either but the original ova came out in 1991 lol all ova series at the time didnt have the best animation lol. most of your complaints stem from inherit character traits within sho as a person for the series. Hes not ment to be the things you want, hes a highschool kid whos afraid and has no clue what to do and is just learning how to use the guyver. The whole motif of that is pretty straight forward when shos brain gets damaged with his father/enzyme 2 fight. once sho is removed from the suit psychologically it becomes a killing machine. Sho has to be those things because hes the relatable character for the audience. if sho didnt act that way or wasnt portrayed that way then there would be zero suspense, he has to be afraid and whiny because hes a normal person outside of whats going on. If sho was a badass and can easily handle chronos then there would be no point and the show would be boring as smegg. Nothing is better in classic story telling then watching the hero come close to losing and winning the battle by a narrow margin thats just writing basics 101. But as the show progresses Sho does actually learn from his battles in the end of the OVA he proved that hes actually a better guyver then agito, he was more inventive on his feet plus he over came the odds and used almost every weapon in his arsenal. then he did something no other guyver host had done up to that point he fired the megasmasher without the use of his arms. plus sho also got killed and came back to smegging life... hes a character that learns through experience. and he becomes a tougher character by the end having vowed to avenge his father and decides that no matter what he will no longer run away, he will fight them head on and take them down. thats what most people call a character arc, and sho has a good one by the end of the series hes a completely different person who basically grew up. Not all heroes are complete badasses, a truly great hero is someone who has flaws and learns from them which sho does. I feel like you missed out on alot of things within the original OVA, especially when it came to examining character arcs. your generalizing things so much without doing proper in depth analysis.
