Ah... hmm, well, I don't think any Mamas were mentioned in conjunction with Zoanoids; except for Mrs. Lisker, maybe.

It's possible to process someone in a few hours, but there are adverse side effects (such as dying at an inopportune moment). I don't think a definite time limit was ever mentioned, however.

I'd imagine it'd take several weeks to process a standard level Zoanoid.  A Hyper Zoanoid could probably take months as they're more sophisticated and advanced (Neo-Zx-Tole being an example; Dr. Barcas had only a few weeks to work with him and he was deteriorating rapidly according to Purgstall).

I think you're right. A body undergoing major changes like that would have to take some time. Especially with Lost Numbers and Hyper Zoanoids. I think of it as a metamorphosis. 

The data files suggest the time also varies between Zoanoid models, one pointing out that a model of standard Zoanoid was dveloped to be as easy to process as a Ramatath but have strength closer to a Gregol.
