Hi,

Newbie here, but collector since long time.

I tried to upload some pics, but the files were too big. 😭 Had pics of outer art box, manual, unique card and Guyver Gigantic itself.

1. The black outer is really a disappointment. Thin and not sturdy or offer any protection at all.

2. There is a Colored manual and a small card with the Guyver Gigantic and the unique serial number. 1200 total worldwide.

3. The Guyver is enormous, but very top heavy. A base is recommended or show case.

4. A masterpiece and centrepiece in any collection! And no, I was lucky to avoided Evil-bay 😄😜

So just wanted to follow up. I did receive the figure from CollectibleGroup. They took about 9 days before actually shipping it from the time of order. Also their packaging was basically just wrapping the figure's box in a layer of cardboard with no padding. So if you're picky about the condition of the figure's packaging, then you may have to consider other places. Also at the current exchange rates, the figure was about $300 USD with the slightly more expensive of their two shipping methods.

I've changed the upload limit for the time being, can you try again please.

Hello from Bangkok,

I just came back from Thailand Toy Expo and found these prototypes from Sanken studio. All are in 1/6 scale. The gigantic is about 50 cm and Guyver 1 and Murakami are about 30 cm.

Sorry that I'm not a good camera man

Cheers,

They look great. It's nice to know someone is still producing the guyver  merchandise. It's not well know in the UK, what is its popularity in Asia?  I'm tempted by the murakai one. Are they all articulated/posable like the recently released figure?

It used to be very popular in Asia, especially in Thailand but since Yoshiki Takaya, the author of Guyver, stopped writing it for many years, Guyver is known by only readers who are more than 30-35 years old. I would say it is not popular in Thailand anymore now. Anyway, Ithnik many Thai middle-aged people bought of the Gigantic from them that's why they're presenting  and continuing the Guyver figure line in Bangkok.

The figures are all articulated like the recently released one except for the 1/2 guyver bust. They all come with LED light parts.

Good to know info.  Looking at getting one of these Gigantics soon.

Really excited about Prime1 Studios.  Would love to see some other figures besides the usual like Griselda, Libertus etc...

I finally received a few responses from collectible group. I think we could get special deal if we have big order. It's confusing because emails are very vague. I have send them all my contact info and they said the following by email:

Not sure if this was already posted. Looks like more companies are getting Guyver fever. It's about time! Come on Max Factory we need New BFC figures with updated figma joints. The best of both worlds.

I really hope this starts a trend for other companies, and The Guyver finally gets the merchandise it deserves. Really, Guyver needs another media push for more toys and merchandise. Another OVA, video game, movie, etc. Something to try and get the name out of there.

RELEASING THE MANGAS IN THE US WOULD SURE HELP, BUT NOOOOOO.

So has anyone ordered from collectible group and if so how many of you ordered from them. I'm asking because they have send me a link with Guyver Gigantic 1/6 sanken studio figure for $300 and free shipping. I just want to make sure it's safe to buy from them. Ho Ming Chan is who I'm communicating with through email. Thanks sudo

P.s is anyone else still looking to buy this figure?

I'd be weary, all these look super cheap in the pictures, definitely not up to medicom or hot toys standard.

If you are interested in getting serious collectibles, wait for what Prime one produce, they produce some of the best statues about and are respected int he statue community. Their quality is always of a super high standard and i think they will do Guyver justice.

Actually, mostly good things were sad about their previous release of Guyver Gigantic, when those exact same thoughts were said.

Plus there was a different thread that showed off the other possibly figures they are doing... So it seems like they may not be 100% amateurs.

These Guys are very tempting, considering their sheer size... But if I get this one, I'll have to track down the Guyver Gigantic figure as well... Sooo much money...

I just received another email and I had Google translation app do it's thing. To the best of my knowledge this is what it translated:

Dear Guyver Garba fans, SANKEN STUDIO want to issue a statement on this before the company launched Guyver Garba Giants loaded colonization No. 1, because of some problems on the production and structure so that a minority of fans have disappointed in this company to a public apology fans!

To help you regain confidence, the company in these four months, the ongoing structural improvements, color technology research and development, lighting effect adjustment, especially the thigh joints to make a re-design, through a team effort all the Company finally successfully developed one, almost perfect black giant colonization installed.

Giants loaded from colonization No. 3 starts, to ensure that everyone will receive a satisfactory product.

The next two products, because Sam Garba No. 1 and No. 2 is the new production, hand to do after many improvements, has entered the stage of completion, we will try to make good work, I do not want to be disappointed!
