So, why won't it? Is his body just too advance or too complicated for optimization to fully heal him? I know he slept in that pod for millions of years and still has a brain disorder where he sleeps for ages. 

 

Than I thought. Maybe the optimization tanks that Chronos has are more advanced and that Barcas nor any other scientist have ever diagnosed Alkanphel's condition. Only Barcas has theories or speculations although it is summarized that Alkanphel was critically injured  by the creators when he was saving Earth and himself. 

 

Optimization tanks can heal zoanoids of most types. But why not Alkanphel?

Maybe it would.

 

Maybe they need a LOT of power to do so.

 

Say, from a collection of Zoacrystals?

My best guess would be that it may be a mental problem rather then a physical one. The psychic assault Alkanphel suffered might not have done any physical damage to him but instead affected his brain in a way that causes his periods of long sleep subconsciously. That would be something much harder to fix.

 

Another possibility is that damage the creators did was so severe that even Cronus's advanced technology simply can't repair it or the creators damaged Alkanphel body in a way that is beyond our current understanding.

Perhaps the optimization tanks that Cronos is using was based on the pod of Alchanfel?

There is a possiblity that Chronos just doesn't have the resources or knowledge to optimize Alchanfel.  Remember he was the original Zoalord created by the Creators.  Who probably used more advanced technology to create him in the 1st place.  While Chronos may have the resources to create zoanoids in a mass production level and the 12 holly warriors.  I doubt that their technology will even be able to process Alchanfel safely.

I always considered the "Zoalords" created by Chronos and Dr. Barcas to be "Proto-types" to the Zoalords the Creators made. I mean, can we even really call them Zoalords? They can't even scratch Archanfel!
