When buying a game, movie, or series.... do you prefer a physical copy or a digital copy?

I prefer physical. Digital is a royal pain in my ass to sit there and download onto my PS3 or PS4. The only thing that I mainly download is dlc content if it can be helped.

I know some people personally who collect prefer the case and everything to stick on their shelf.

Myself if it comes down to it. I will buy a digital copy if I'm desperate to get the game that I've been waiting forever on if Game Stop and Wal-Mart doesn't have it and I don't feel like going to an online store like Amazon or Ebay to order it as I would be too impatient to wait 1 - 2 weeks.

if I download it, I don't have to go to a store to buy it or order it and wait for it, and I don't have to find a place to store it.

I have almost 3 terabytes of disc space so I can keep most of my games installed without too much worry.

With a very slow internet connection, I would really prefer physical.  It'll take me one whole week just to download one game, while it's just a few hours for me to buy a physical copy of a game.  Besides, I like how it looks when you have a cabinet full of games.

The collector in me lieks to get physical copies of everything. I like the fact that I OWN it. It is MINE.

Digital releases will always have a stigma over them, especially now with Konami and the PT takedown.

So some day, a game you paid for, and deleted due to lack of space, may no longer be available for you to redownload, because the game company has pulled it off the store. Which means, even if you were willing to pay again, it would not be available either way.

PT may have just been a demo... But Konami has set a bad precedent in removing it from the store, and not letting people re-download it.

Physically copy, that way I won't have to worry about the digital edition getting corrupted or accidentally deleted.
