What was the whole story on Malmot? We know he was a failed zoanoid and that he stole the Guyver units from Chronos, but how did this all occur? What was the lead up? How was a test type like Malmot able to even pull of such a feat? We know Agito was involved somehow, but how much? Something as precious as the Guyver units should have been under the most tightest of security measures. For now we can only assume, but I would really like to hear the Advocacy's opinion on this matter.

Let's assume that nobody knows about Chronos therefore they don't have to worry about oursiders wanting to steal from them.

Inside the organisation who would dare, so there was probably never a security threat to worry about.

No clue other than he was just a desperate little lab rat thinking if he delivered the Guyver Units to someone he made a deal with, he'd be cured. But we know he didn't live passed that day. Thats all I can make of it.

The only known details in the manga are that he had had been forced into conversion by cronos, and that Agito later manipulated (and lied to him about his chances of survival and becoming normal again) him to into stealing the units before his eventual death. Considering the local area, he might of been one of the entire towns worth of people who had been converted. Either that or another captured witness by cronos for experimentation. He also traveled as a hitchhiker/drifter after his escape.

The 2005 anime expanded it into a story about him trying to reunite with his family. I he had a wife and child, and it was his biggest motivation.

no, that area is nowhere near Takeshiro.

it's clear that Murakami drove for a while to take shou to mount Minkamai.

also, the real life counterparts from what we can gather, Narusawa and Matsushiro are many miles from each other. Narusawa is closer to Tokyo than it is to N prefecture.

This is confirmed by how close the Segawa's parents live to Setagaya district.

it needs to be said that there is NOTHING that would lead us to believe that the test type was in any way immune to a zoalords command.

we have not seen the two in close proximity therefore the whole line of questioning is moot.

funny, I'm pretty sure this has already been made clear... how long until people get it...  there was no zoalord in the Tokyo vicinity.

The first hint of a Zoalord in Tokyo was when Guyot arrived.

missing string, heya how are you?

don't think I'm having a go at you or anything.. I'm not. just making the point very clear in case of anyone else watching.

the walls have eyes, you know?

Yuki ,Are all the other Zoalords subject to Alkenphel's mind control as well? Seems he paralyzed Guyot and made him come to him before he stripped him of his zoacrystal on the relic. I could be mistaken and that his was some other power Alkenphel used. Since we're on the subject of zoalord mind control.

it's been shown that zoacrystals can effect lesser zoaforms. like guyot stopping murakami in his tracks. Archanfel stopping guyot was likely a similar thing. since all zoacrystals were cleaved and cultivated from his own. he can use that to effect them in some fashion.

Since griselda had a dummy crystal that was not based on any of the others as far as we know, it is likely that she cannot be stopped by hte other lords except maybe archanfel because he is basically superman.

Do you think that explains one of the many reasons why Richard Guyot wanted a guyver unit? Was he aware that Archenphel had that kind of power over the other zoalords? Perhaps word of mouth from his fellow rebel zoalords?

Guyot, the power-hungry SOB that he is, has always wanted to get his hands on a Guyver unit throughout his involvement in the story. Being able to better resist Alky's influence is a probable bonus, but, much like Agito throughout much of the story, he has wanted to take over the world. World domination has always been Richard's #1 goal.

And we have to remember that though there were Zoalords in Japan, namely Barcus, as Yuki has pointed out, he was a considerable distance away, and this was before he had that amplifier built after Chronos took over the world.  In the canon of the story, Relic's Point was about 115 miles (180km as Yuki pointed out) away from where Malmot died and where Sho and Tetsuro found the Guyver unit.

Haha. No offense taken Yuki, I was thinking along those lines as well. It does seem odd that Tokyo wouldn't have had any way to control the Zoanoids beyond normal military training and loyalty to the cause. Though it also seems to explain why they did away with Makashima so quickly after he botched the Guyver units' recovery.

(Of course the easiest answer is just that Takaya hadn't thought that far ahead yet, but I like coming up with in-canon explanations for things. :-) )
