Guest snow Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) As long as Fox owns the rights to x-men it won't be possible. Well, thats a sad thought. I'd love to see Wolverine join the Avengers. Edited March 26, 2014 by Jupiter-Prime Quote
*guyverfan Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Would it be strange for me to expect witty dialogue from Bolivar Trask? when sitting in the cinema, just try and not think of him as master of coin, and you should be 'right, hahaha. and jupiter, ssshhhhh, don't say things like that out loud, we don't want to jinx the franchise now that its coming back from X3.......i think there was a X3...........i don't really want to think about it. oh, please please bryan singer, continue what you're doing Quote
Guest snow Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Was X-3 hated that bad? I don't remember it being that bad. Quote
durendal Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 X3 was god awful. Come on, phoenix force and all it took was adamantium thru the gut? Not to mention a lot of unnecessary death. That's probably the worst X-men movie I've seen. 2 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I am blocked from seeing that trailer. is it the same as this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQhA4X-Ly1Y Quote
odin Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Yes it is Yuki, I am more or less interested in this movie, not very hyped the only thing that I'm hoping that the events of this movie finally retcons everything about X3, sure it was not that good but I don't hate it, I would have been comfortable with the ending aside from what they did to Cyclops since he is my favorite X-man oh and Juggernaut too wtf?. about the movie rights for the characters I am thinking that it is right now in a grey area now that they managed to put both Scarlet witch and Quicksilver on Avengers 2 and X-men: DOFP , so wolverine on the avengers may not be entirely out of the question, Spidey is tricky but I'm sure Disney will find out a way to get them all back or do a collab with fox and sony after all if they do it all parties win and the quality of the films with their combined studios SHOULD increase significantly, at least in theory. Guest snow Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I know I'm excited. I love Marvel. Thor's my all time favorite. Quote
durendal Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I'm seeing a lot of love for the Maximoff siblings from Disney, but a lot of hate from the Fox's version. Though I don't remember the Scarlet witch ever joining the X-men. But she was part of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Quote
*guyverfan Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 one more month to go, and another new trailer to keep us holding on. is it safe for me to say that this may be the best movie of the year? will have to wait and see, it's either going to be this or cap.america2. sorry, but honestly don't think godzilla or transformers4 are going to be better. Guest Jupiter Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 X-Men ftw Can't wait to see Wolverine carve up some bad guys. Can't wait to see this. Quote
*ScottmanXIII Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Wait - Can you call it Xmen 4 I got the impression that this was in the future continuation of 1st class and not the original 3 (Much like in the Startrek new timeline idea)Besides Charles was gone.OK I now comes the argument that he jumped body's - well fine but at the moment his mind landed he would no longer have his powers (or Patrick Stewart looks)because they came from his mutant gene within his body, not some John Doe. I am looking forward to it though☺ Quote
*guyverfan Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 omg, don't you start the whole 'future, past paradox' thingy.......hehehehe. apparently, charles comes back in the future, somehow, as he was seen at the end of wolverine. we'll have to wait to see the movie, hopefull they'll explain how?. no doubt would be brief, along the lines of him being able to survive on another plane of reality/dimension until such time he was able to reanimate his body. someone can start the arguement that the movie really centers around logan, so why not call it wolverine3! Quote
LordSpleach Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Well, technically this would make it Wolverine 6. Only First Class centered around someone other than Logan. 1 Quote
*guyverfan Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Well, technically this would make it Wolverine 6. Only First Class centered around someone other than Logan. NOT YOU TOO! hehehehe.........good point. well i just labelled it as xmen4 as the others were numbered, besides the prequel and keeps myself from getting confused. plus in a conversation, its easier to refer to it as x4, than to continually calling it 'xmen days of future past', say that 5times in a row. much like when i discuss the wolverine movies, one was wolverine, the other 'the wolverine'. i just call them wolverine1 and wolverine2 Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 They're making a third Wolverine movie. It will be called 'Thee Wolverine'. 2 Quote
*guyverfan Posted May 17, 2014 Author Posted May 17, 2014 wow, 5 more days to go for the release and apparently they're just about to start production on xmen-apocalypse Quote
Guest Jupiter Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Wow, X-Men is really taking off. I'm glad. X-Men Apocalypse. I hope they continue to spitting them out. I like Thor, Blade and X-Men. Best movies ever made. Quote

*guyverfan Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 saw this today, what can i say but awesome.be sure you stay until the very end of the credits, its only a short 10sec clip of a glimpse of whats coming in the next installment so don't blink. the movie's adaptation of nimron from the cartoon was great, oh, and there's about 500hundred of'em. and looks like the whole bands back together for the next movie. Guest Jupiter Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Speaking of X-Men. Have any of you guys seen this video? http://youtu.be/-vQ2RVqJCNM Quote
oogeej Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Sorry I'm so late; I think this was the best X-Men movie yet. I was suprised by how much I liked Quicksilver and I don't mind Singer taking Whedon's thunder in giving him his silver screen debut. I also loved the future Sentinels and the future peices of this movie in general, I wish there was more of that (I hear there will be in the Director's Cut). If I could I'd be first in line to get the DVD of this. 1 Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 My wife hates super heros, but loves X-men. It took us a while to arrange seeing this movie, but it was great. The best X-men film yet. 1 Quote
