December 29, 201213 yr so after years of kind of wanting this i went and found one that was priced only twice as much as its worth rather than the one priced at the standard 3 times what its worth!! its great! the only thing is i feel lied to by the picture on the back as it is not articulated . if i had the money, time and could be bothered at the moment then i would love to cut one up and customise it over a 1/6 / 12'' articulated figure to make it moveable. but alas i cant see it ever happening!! heres a comparison shot of it next to a max factory BFC G1 next the 'special version ' vol.21 tankobon.... January 2, 201313 yr I got this when it first came out... God... That was YEARS ago. Damn I'm old! lol! Not posable at all, but still a very impressive and light weight statue of Guyver 1. Though I honestly cannot remember how much I paid for it way back then. Its size is still very impressive against the size of most figures.
January 20, 201313 yr Author heh heh, i wish i'd got it when it came out aswell!! well 2 reasons for me posting... 1. i just noticed that this is the model used for the fold out picture at the beginning of the VDF!! (i dont know if thats the case for the japanese version but it is in the chinese version that i have) 2. can Ryuki or Durendal have a look at the blurb on Takaya under his muppet picture? im interested in if it has anything new to say on him, thanks?? January 20, 201313 yr Already looked. it's just the general stuff about his blood type etc. unless you mean the bit below that... It's sort of a general blurb, thanking people for buying the special pack and writing a little bit about what is contained. too much kanji and no furigana so I can't give specifics.
