December 10, 201213 yr What ever happened to Warrior Guyver and Bio-Weapons? I loved those sites before I came to the Advocacy!
December 11, 201213 yr I don't know about bioweapons, but nothing happened to warrior guyver, it is still alive and kicking - http://warriorguyver.com/
December 11, 201213 yr Warriorguyver.com still exists. Though has not been updated in years sadly. Bioweapons.com still exists too... Though Dave is a busy busy man with his costuming and effects stuff.
December 11, 201213 yr Author Then what happened to theguyver.net? I know it eventually became the Advocacy, but why the change? Was it due to legal issues with the name?
December 11, 201213 yr theguyver.net experienced some issues and I was focusing my energy on this site. I left the administration of theguyver.net in the hands of youngguyver. after time, this forum became very popular and the guyverboard was not as popular. we agreed to shut down the guyverboard and use this forum for both sites. then after some more time, the guyvernet unexpectedly went down. we never really got any kind of info about it and the domain is apparently locked to the old registrar so it is inaccessible to us. and so with that, the site was lost. to get the full story about that, we just need to wait until youngguyver is ready to talk to us about it. I haven't asked because, frankly I left it to him so it's not really my place to say anything. I don't have any right to ask about it.
December 12, 201213 yr mentioning old sites i was looking for one the other day, the site was called Guyvers Playground. It had a section how to draw the guyver it was pretty good. I just bought a fine pen so i can draw precision lines on my tablet and wanted to practise my sketching again, but the site has closed down i wish i could of saved those pages. You always think because a site is on the internet it stays up there.. Gonna have to rethink where to start.
December 12, 201213 yr I am pretty sure that site still exists. I think it is archived on the warriorguyver site. edit: yep, I believe this is what you are talking about? http://warriorguyver.com/guyver2playground/index.htm
December 12, 201213 yr Nostalgic to the max. I remember following that tutorial way back when. thanks for posting it ryuki i'm gonna go bung it in the links thread that's stickied.
December 13, 201213 yr Great stuff Ryuki what a find i searched for this at came out with zero. Gonna save these pages.
December 15, 201213 yr Actually if you go to http://www.warriorguyver.com/ and look above the picture with all the tabs. Those will take you to various Guyver inspired sites such as Warrior Guyver, Star's Guyver Page, and Great War of the Guyver's just to name a few.
January 3, 201313 yr Author Ryuki, did you archive anything from the guyver.net forums? I am very curious to see some of the old posts if they are still accessible.
January 3, 201313 yr It's a website that allows you to view archived websites: www.archive.org you can see them on the wayback machine.i just tried to check the archive and apparently the site's robot.txt disallows it
January 3, 201313 yr that's weird, I read the old posts on there loads of times. Is it still working for you? I just tried again and I'm still getting the same thing about the robot.txt And Krucifer, i posted a link to it in my last post
January 4, 201313 yr oh, what happened? it had archived it all and there was not a robots.txt file stopping any archiving back then. it seems the current registrar who have locked it down, have put a block on the history of it. that is a really shitty practice.
