for sometime i have searched the internet for the making of this film i have only found about six clips from stunts bloopers to interviews only low resolution though, i think alot of these extra's was on the laserdisk versions can anyone shed any light on this.

Also guyver mutronics on laserdisk does anyone own this and does it come with any extra's.

I just found this (and the jump bloopers (they looked extremely painful haha)) and it looks like it could be the introduction to a longer documentary. I'd love some light shed on this as well!

lost unit, could you post the other bits and pieces you've found? like the interviews?

I've been after this documentry myself. I have heard both films have "making of" extras on the japanese laserdisk versions, along with dark hero having a longer version than the US version. However, the extra scenes add very little according to Steve Wang.

I've also been looking for the "Making of Guyver 2" Book for almost a decade. The only copy I have seen has been in David Carpenters (evilFX/GuyverGuy) hands.

i was thinking of getting the laserdisk and ripping it.Just for the making bits. On the mutronics wasnt sure if it had the making in it. Ive never heard of the book or seen the cover.i will put up some pics of what i have soon.

the production crew had these jackets but havent seen them anywhere.

I checked with Steve Wang on Facebook. There is a 20 minute version of this on the Japanese LD version of the movie.

I dont remember where i found them...on the web mybe was winmx or napster  who remember...lol, yeah i talked to steve too, i'm looking for the LD anywhere in japan, but no luck...check this out i have mount this display today :-)

This looks like the dark hero laser disc to me, if you are still after it. I do think it will be expensive to buy!

 

Is anyone going to bid on the laser disc? If not, I have a parcel already in transit to the buyee warehouse, so I'm thinking of getting it for the making of if no one else is

i would like it but have no player for it so it would not be worth the bid,but the making would be a nice bonus not sure if the if anything on the inside sleeve either.

A fellow near me converts laser disc to did for £14, so I would just do that.

I just don't want to run up the bid if one of us already plans to buy it is all.

the LD is mine,not in my hands yet, i have a problem that, i just find out that LD players around here are PAL and not NTCS as in japan and usa so  i'm looking for an LD player NTCS somewhere...i have seeen selling some on ebay but very expencive 400 euros...so...i'm searching for a solution

There is a company near me that will convert laser disk to did for for a small fee (£17). Perhaps there is one near you? He does PAL and NTCS.

I've a Pal and NTSC LD player (I bought it when i got the Out of Control anime on LD).

 

But if you where to send it to anyone, best send it to Gazham to get it converted. Then send the original back to UnitG. I'm tempted to send you my Out of Control as it would be the best conversion we could get done of it too. Just need to find a way to put in Subs.

in the past i had a good copy of the ooc which had foreign subtitles i manged to replace them with english ones and resink them t . As long as the copy isn't had subbted .

 

The LD is in my hand prob is i m in Italy here most ld are pal i m looking to buy One cheap on eBay
