Just got done watching both seasons of Attack on Titan, *changes to Zoe Hange voice* and I loved it!  The music was superb, keeping me at the edge of my seat when Eren was duking it out with Titans and making me think "oh ****" when Annie showed her true colors!  The animation was a work of art unto itself!  The voices actors were perfect for their respective characters!  My only complaint about it is that Eren and Armin are both whiny bitches that needlessly drag out a scene.  Yeah, you're pissed, Eren, TRANSFORM AND RIP SOME LIMBS OFF INSTEAD OF FINDING EXTRA MOTIVATION TO DO SO!  Armin, get some self-esteem already!

Wow, this summer went by fast O.o

I've been working as a temp at Mars Petfood, sorting through dog/cat food and finding all sorts of nasty defects with the worst being a case full of maggots.  I'm also enrolled in several classes at the local university to get my degree in Graphic Design.  A lot has happened in my down times too.

Jace was attacked by another dog two weeks ago and had to stay a few nights at the vet's.  He got torn up badly, with the worst damage done to his genital area.  He got neutered, stitched up in three separate places, most of his fur shaved off, and several antibiotics to combat infection in his wounds.  At first he could only eat soft dog food (thank God for employee donations) and walk short distances in the yard.  He's doing much better now, but is now very needy around me.  He doesn't even leave my room much when I'm at work and my parents are still home unless he needs to go outside.

It's been fun and chaotic, but it's now time to go back to college and finish what I started.  Hopefully with a GD degree I can get a better paying job somewhere.

I'm starting to miss my relatively quiet life back at my previous college's dorm.  Three of my step-sisters are now living with us and I'm ready to blow a damned fuse with all the drama they've brought.  The oldest in the group is pregnant and can't make up her mind on permanently leaving her useless baby's daddy that wouldn't even keep a job while she's pregnant.  The middle girl keeps doing the chores in the kitchen by herself before I can do a thing to get started cleaning.  And the youngest is a bloody hyena!  She's loud and obnoxious to the point where I want to hog tie her in duct tape.  I can't concentrate on homework it's so chaotic now!

The only reprieve I get these days are on campus, at my grandma's house, or at my boyfriend's apartment.  Yes, I have a boyfriend now; we got together back in mid-September.  He's a big time nerd that watches old Disney movies with me :)  I've been hanging out with him at his place than going home lately.  I don't see the home situation getting any better anytime soon, but at least I have somewhere to go to when I need an escape.

At least you're dealing with it though. Do you think you'd move in with your boyfriend some day down the road?

I know after 2 months of being together before me or my wife were ever married, she was dealing with a lot of personal stuff from her mom. Basically, her mother and dad moved to Florida and left her on her own and she was in college at the time studying in the medical field.

We had just got together. But I felt so close to her already that I decided to have her move in with me. Her decision was easy though, it was either me or her really strict grandparents that she can barely get along with. 6 months later we got married and have been so for 8 years.

It's a possibility.  I'd need to get a steady job and my career going first before we can move in together though.  He's living with his cousin and my brother in a small apartment not meant for three guys.

Where did you two meet?  :)

We've been friends for a few years now and recently decided to take our relationship to boy/girlfriend status.

That's great. I'm really happy for you. I wish you a long and prosperous relationship. :)

Thanks!  The only blight on this occasion is the dead beat dad that's paving his way for prison time.  He keeps stirring up **** just because he calls himself a "gangster" (compared to the rest of society: he's a pansy).

My dad surprised me last Friday.  Apparently he put a bug in my maternal grandma's ear to keep an eye out for small dogs that pop up in her group of animal foster groups.  She's been fostering rescue dogs for several years now and knows many non-profit organizations and people that rescue dogs.  She directed us to a rescue shelter not too far from us, and we ended up adopting a little doxy-chocolate lab dog.

I didn't think I'd be able to take up responsibility for another dog so soon after Jace's passing, but this little guy pulled at my heart strings.  His name is Ritchy; he's hyper, loves to lick faces and chew on his toys, and an overall friendly fur baby.

A little late for an update, but here we are in a new year!

My boyfriend and I have started the process of making our couple cosplay this year as Zelda and Gannondorf from Ocarina of Time.  The most time consuming part is probably going to be making Gannondorf's armor as we suspect parts of it are made of leather.  My BF has been working on making craft foam look like actual leather, and it's coming along rather well, it looks like real leather.  For the Zelda costume, we're planning on making it into a dress and rave outfit combo.  The design looks straightforward enough to pull it off, I just need to get a job this summer and get the material to work on it.

Well, my Boyfriend and I have begun to work on my Zelda costume, and he has pretty much stolen my sewing machine.  He watched me work it while hemming the skirt of the dress, and he got it done when I had to go home for the night.  He even started making a pattern for the top parts of the dress to sew; my sewing machine has opened many doors for him in cosplaying.

The Gannondorf cosplay has taken a back seat until we can find a sturdier material for the armor and leather parts.  The craft foam we were originally going to use turned out to be flimsy and easy to damage, so that plan went out the window.  I guess we'll be raiding thrift stores for leather.

Boy, do I have a feel good story to share with you guys.

Monday morning, my dad wakes me up saying, "There's a puppy in the yard." I get up and go out to see the puppy.  He was so cute!  He could have been no older than 4-6 weeks old, and covered from face to rectum in ticks.  Both of us said "Holy ****!" when we saw all the ticks on his belly alone.  So I go get dressed while Dad grabs everything to bathe the little guy (Dawn soap and organic tick & flea shampoo that works wonders for the skin too), and soon enough we got to work on giving the puppy his (probably) first bath and plucking off ticks from his face, ears, butt, anywhere the stuff was making the ticks let go.  We worked on the poor baby for 30 minutes and had to let him rest; the poor thing was worn out from following our dogs home and from us removing ticks.  Dad gave him a tub of soft dog food and he scarfed it down like he was starving despite his belly being bloated.

Since Dad worked the night before and I had to go to class, we called up one of my stepsisters to look after him and help get the ticks off.  She agreed and on my way to school I stop by her apartment complex to drop him off.  One of her neighbors was outside smoking when she noticed us bringing up the puppy and asked us if he was ours.  We told her we were looking for a home for him since we already have four dogs and couldn't take in another.  Lo and behold!  She was looking for a puppy for her kids!  She wasn't even fazed by the fact that she'd have to take him to a vet as soon as she could do so and even plucked off the rest of the ticks when she got home from work!

He's doing fine now; he started playing with the lady and her kids the next day.  He's acting like a happy puppy should be.  The family named him Lucky and love him.

I'm ready to move the hell out.  I'm done.  I don't care if there's a giant mess in the kitchen and roaches are crawling all over it.  If my stepmom and sis want to be pigs, fine.  I'm done cleaning up after them.  I won't even allow food or drinks in my car because they can't clean up after themselves.  If Godzilla comes out, it's their fault.  I AM NOT CINDERELLA, BY GOD!!

I hate wasting material.  I hate wasting food.  They both do that in HUGE amounts and it drives me up the damned wall!  They just don't care!  I AM DONE!!!

My boyfriend thought it would be hilarious to send me a video of his family's new pet rabbit molesting a cat....AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! I DIDN'T NEED THAT IMAGE, AND NOW IT WON'T GO AWAY!!!

iTunes, you fail me once again.  I was trying to find the Fushigi Yugi anime, but I was swiftly reminded that iTunes doesn't have the older animes.  One would think they'd have some of the old classics for us who enjoy the old style animation before computers took over.

*sigh* eBay, B&N, here I come again.  I got very lucky to find the old Guyver anime DVDs on B&N a few years ago for a damn good deal; brand new, never been opened, and is never being loaned out.
