*V Guyver Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Am I the only one confused and bitter about Sasuke returning, and everyone.... just accepting it? All his crimes, and they just let him slip away, and he's now got a new goal which he never showed interest in before at all. I feel rather... cheated. I'm assuming he'll have to deal with his crimes after. Also, blah at Karin! What a nincompoop of a shinobi girl! Quote
durendal Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Well, they have no choice. They need all the help they can get. Besides, Itachi made sure of Sasuke's fate through Naruto. If something needs settling, it would be right after they deal with the end of the world. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 I would agree on the terms that they sort of joined with him a bit too readily. not that I don't think it was necessary to allow him to join the battle and cooperate with him... but there was a lack of visible emotion. or visible resistance to his presence. I personally felt that event was lacklustre when it could have had more impact. I admit i'm a bit hazy about Sasuke's specific crimes so I'd have to re-read to remind myself. I may well feel the same way as you vguyver. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 The events unfolding in the latter portions of the shinobi war are, for me, disappointing. How they bring out the juubi slightly bothers me but not enough to upset me. What does upset me is that Naruto is practically making every ninja a super sayian with the kyuubi's chakra. That form, heck any kyuubi tail form should only be Narutos! It feels so cheap that he's letting other people dot. Another problem is that the war its starting to feel rushed. Its like the writers are so busy bringing out a new twist in the war they are not developing the already existing plot twists... It feels rushed... Quote
durendal Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 About that Sasuke thing? Who are you to argue if he arrived together with the 4 Hokage? That's an uber advantage you don't want to ignore. As for the war, yes, it is taking it's time. Seems to me that the only way to keep it interesting is by adding more characters into the war. Works for me. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 I do think the war works really well. after watching and reading all this, we do really feel like it is a great ninja war. it is not some short skirmish, it is a war for sure. of course I would like for the war to be over and to have some more variety story telling, but it is necessary I would imagine. odin Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I don't think I have ever commented on this thread since I'm not a very big fan of the series but since I have watched this series since the beginning along with bleach and one piece I will still just give my 2 cents of everything that has happened so far, the beginning of the war to me seemed like too many things where happening at once but once the kages started fighting against madara the pace settled and turns out enjoyable so far. The tobi reveal was to be expected after so many people speculating but his motives for making the war? seemed a bit weak, almost like he is being brainwashed or something (which I doubt it is the case) feeling hate for the world and wanting to make an illusion of a perfect world just because of one death? to me that scenario would have worked a lot better if Pain was the one doing the planning and stuff cause he did lose a lot and could sympathies with him but obito? not so much, seems more like a temper tantrum at best. I like the current events of the war minus the part where Minato outshines Naruto that was just lazy writing. Minor nitpick is the deal with the sakura and hinata relationship with naruto, it feels like the author is trolling around making you guess who will be with naruto, I for one would prefer hinata since she is the one who has showed true feelings of love and affection with naruto ever since she appeared but in the end I could care less. On the other side there is also the deal of people complaining about sasuke wanting to be hokage all of a sudden, I really don't mind this cause that does not mean that naruto can't be one at the same time, the first and second hokage ruled together so why can't those 2 do it as well?. Also I am expecting naruto to turn in the next ninja sage of the 6 paths since it is pretty obvious that he will probably become it based on how his kyuubi cloak looks so similar to the sage's silhouette and how he is suddenly communicating with the other tailed beasts, all he needs now is to manifest some rinnengans and he is set. durendal Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 HOT DAMN!!!! So they were saving those summons as the ace in their sleeves? Don't know about you guys but I'm really getting excited here. 1 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 so I was bothered when Minato was like and was like "LOL seriously?" at naruto coz naruto was pretty BOSS for doing But then I remember that naruto also does So then it was alright and NAruto is like "oh pur-lease.. dad stop being such an embarrassment ;;" Quote
*V Guyver Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Apparently sasuke isn't truly being forthcoming during this battle. This is too be expected considering the bizarreness of the situation. So what could be his alternative goal of helping everyone out. Is it redemption, or something else? Quote
durendal Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 In the first place, what led Sasuke to follow the path that he was on? His first reason was to get revenge on his brother because of what he did to the Uchiha clan. But then, after fulfilling his goal, the truth became an eye opener for him. In reality, his brother loved him and it totally destroyed everything he believed in. Hence turning his back on Konoha for what they had done to his brother. But we later found out that it wasn't really Konoha, but just Danzo. That's one emotional roller coaster for one kid to handle. So I guess that Sasuke is sincere in helping out Konoha. The big question is, why the heck is Orichimaru helping Konoha? Quote
*V Guyver Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 he didn't specify, he claims that it's because of Sasuke not imitating him, and so he wants to see how it turns out. I'm still trying to figure out howthe heck he's still alive. Okay so they released him from the seals and gave him a form again... but wasn't he dying from an unstable body. Right now he has no issues, so what the heck?! If he had so much trouble with his previous bodies, why didn't he do this in the first place? Quote
durendal Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 You know, that Orochimaru X Kabuto X Sasuke thing is getting confusing. Orochimaru is supposed to use Sasuke as his next body, but Sasuke managed to oust him. But then it gets confusing to me as to how Kabuto managed to graft the DNA of Orochimaru to himself. And it gets more confusing how they managed to yank out Orochimaru's consciousness from Kabuto. Is Orochimaru some kind of ghost? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 seems to me that when he put some of his chakra in the cursed seal, he put the same essence of himself that he would normally put in when he steals a body. although he put it in a way that would not result in a full take-over. when they added Kabuto's flesh to the cursed seal, it provided a 'body' for orochimaru, but of course the amount of material was so small, orochimaru is 'stretched', and therefore why he said he is not powerful enough yet. I think if he was anything like a ghost, I would say more like a vampire. Quote
*V Guyver Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 He's more or less an undead being. He doesn't feed on blood, but I guess he's more or less like some Ghoul, or Remanent in more accurate terms. But if anything the guy is a witch. Anyways, back to the matter at hand. Okay, Sakura doesn't truly trust Sasuke because she used her fake smiles. Orochimaru is sticking around because he thinks Sasuke is going to betray everyone in a grand scale and join him (or take over his body), while Sasuke is indeed plotting something according to his team isn't stating anything specific. The good thing about the series is that they are people who flip sides and motives on the fly. Best Case in point, the historical figure Lu Bu. The man was a badass but could never be trusted. Still plot wise, it's supposed to keep us on edge, but I am starting to tire. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 latest chapter was so freaking awesome!!! OH MY GOD!! did you notice!! Naruto created a Rasengan with one hand!!! I mean aside from the awesome of him figuring out to attack in sage mode, that was pretty damn cool, and his dad was oh so jealous!! He is just the coolest! and wow, we will get to see what is going on with the other half of kyuubi! I love it so much. Quote
*PrimalNemesis Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 So in regards to Naruto who is everyone's favorite characters? Quote
Cannibal Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 who is everyone's favorite characters? 1) Tobi 2) Orochimaru (because my favourite voice actor - Kujira) 3) Nagato's Deva Path (because epic battle in 167 Shippuuden episode) --------- btw 322 episode was awesome, now it's my second fav episode (after 167). They made very good work on that battle. Although I found one small mistake in animation (Rinnegan was shown where it should not be). Quote

*Jess♥ Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Naruto is really drenn lately. The manga is really starting to drag.I'm just about sick of the current situation and the author is really milking it. uhm... do you remember when we were saying the war is going on a bit too long. it's been 8 months since then!!!!! Quote
Shin Mefilas Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Good god yes I just find myself thinking......END! END! Well it has had some good parts here and there. Oh well atlest Ive got One Piece and Toriko Quote
Larz Zahn Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I'm just wanting to get this over so we can see the after math of the war and alliance and the epilogue. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 I'm really hoping this is not the finale of the manga because that would suck. actually i'm not a fan of how the story seems to have changed from being kinda naruto vs sasuke and now it's the world against madara.uhm... thinkig about it now though, I think this war has to end and the final parts of the manga has to be naruto and sasuke. the pacing needs to be better though. it was said that sasuke had more potential than madara. but of course, sasuke's goal isn't the same. tsuki no me is madara's ultimate goal, but sasuke was an avenger. I can sort of only see this logically ending as a duel between naruto and sasuke over who will control the village. since sasuke will probably want the uchiha to be more prominent and so on. it'll be like a repeat of madara and hashirama. But I also think they will have something happening with the tailed beasts being set free or going back to being the juubi as the tree form and humans not having chakra in their body.still anyhow, this bloody war is too long.
