durendal Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 OH......MY....GOD!! One whole chapter just to reveal the identity of Tobi! OHMYGOD!OHMYGOD!OHMYGOD!OHMYGOD!OHMYGOD!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!! 1 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 29, 2012 Author Posted August 29, 2012 yeah. something we already knew. BUT... it is 600 next. cheers Cannibal, that was great oh yeah, this chapter was pretty nice. would have liked a bit more movement, but it was a nice sweet look at the past lives of the jounins we know so well. durendal Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 So all this time that we thought Obito and Kakashi share a good bond, Obito actually has resentment towards Kakashi? i don't get it, if he had resentment towards Kakashi, why give him his Sharingan? Unless he has other plans. This opened up a lot of questions that needs to be answered. I think it's going to be an explanation chapter next week. I feel a flashback story arc coming. With what I've read with the recent chapter, it looks like Obito and Kakashi has a similar relationship like that of Naruto and Sasuke, only that their fates were reversed. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 I think it was clear that Obito had good relations with Kakashi when he game him his eye. He entrusted the safety of Rin to Kakashi. Isn't it obvious what the problem is? Where is Rin? Quote
Matt Bellamy Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 If I had to guess, I would say, somewhere between Obito giving Kakashi his eye, and the Kyubi incident, Rin probably died. Obito trying to put a genjutsu on the entire world would fit if she had died, and now he is trying to stop everything. It wouldn't be the most original reason for him to be doing it, but if that is the case, it would be fairly fitting. Like most bad guys, he's just gone waaay too far with his ideals. Quote
*V Guyver Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Man, it's been pretty shocking. After all those plot ends to derail fans, it turned out to be who they first suspected. As for that other Guy who he is talking to in that cave, clearly not Madara, despite the claim. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 why is is clearly not madara? I wonder if that statue is some combination of susano-o and mokuton type jutsu? didn't madara defeat the first hokage and take his jutsu's somehow? why can't it be madara, he is really old. old enough to be madara. and i am not sure if we've seen anything to show evidence of how madara got killed. Quote
*V Guyver Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Well the Jutsu (Impure Resurrection) used to revive the dead, revives them with the appearance, and body they had in death. So Madara, who's Resurrection suddenly looks much much younger than the Madara in the cave. I may of been wrong about Tobi being Madara's brother, but I was close, and that guy in the cave, well I'll just say I was close because of him. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 hmm, well you are correct in saying that it revives them at the time of their death.... but didn't he say he was already technically dead? wasn't there something about the gedou statue keeping him in an artificially revived state? he could technically be a puppet? I'm not sure, but i didn't see an issue with it. I remember specifically thinking about this issue when we first saw him and he started giving his explanation. after all, the revived madara has the rinnegan; his original eyes. it's clear that this old man version gave his eyes away already so the edo tensei has brought back a version of madara that is prior to this. meaning this madara we are seeing has to be technically dead. but he has madara's mind/spirit because he has to know tobi somehow. edit: what if he was a mokuton bunshin? like yamato did. i think a bunshin usually disappears when the user dies, but madara is capable of so much. and when a bunshin disappears, the knowledge they gain returns to the original. so this could be a bunshin that has been grafted onto the gedou in order to keep it active after his death. or something like that. and when the edo tensei was activated, the mokuton bunshin released? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted January 30, 2013 Author Posted January 30, 2013 spoilers of course. so.... didn't minato seal half of Kyuubi's chakra within himself inside the shinigami seal ? so if minato is now released from the shinigami seal, doesn't that mean that the kyuubi should now be twice as strong as what we have seen? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted January 30, 2013 Author Posted January 30, 2013 hmm, thinking a bit more... if the edo tensei was developed by the second hokage, then doesn't this mean if orochimaru leaves him with free will for a second, he can become like madara? Quote
*V Guyver Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 spoilers of course. so.... didn't minato seal half of Kyuubi's chakra within himself inside the shinigami seal ? so if minato is now released from the shinigami seal, doesn't that mean that the kyuubi should now be twice as strong as what we have seen? When Naruto was fighting Pain, I recall the 4th gave naruto the rest of the chakra, since Naruto already was given scroll and seal of the other half. It was a while back now. So I don't remember all the details. Also, nice that they killed off one of naruto's friends. It was starting to look like all the young Konoha teenagers were immune to death. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 11, 2013 Author Posted February 11, 2013 When Naruto was fighting Pain, I recall the 4th gave naruto the rest of the chakra, since Naruto already was given scroll and seal of the other half. It was a while back now. So I don't remember all the details. That was happening within naruto, so the only chakra he could have given him was chakra that was already within naruto. I'm pretty sure the other half was sealed within the shinigami with minato. Quote
durendal Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I did not know that Minato stowed away a chunk of the Kyubi's chakra. If that is so, then it would only make the kyubi much more powerful now. What more now that Naruto and Kurama are in complete sync? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 exactly, that's what I was thinking! but here, I am not 100% certain on that. I do recall it being the case, but I could have gotten it wrong. perhaps I should find that part and double check.... Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 chapter 503, minato seals half the kyuubi's chakra inside himself and into the dead demons seal. The seal he uses to take half of the kyuubi's chakra looks very similar to Naruto's seal. I suspect we will be seeing that seal on his abdomen some time soon. I think naruto learned how to open and close that seal, so we may be seeing a fight between father and son! Quote
*V Guyver Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 alright, gave it some thought, and it makes no sense. If half was sealed with the demon and himself, and the other half in a scroll, then where exactly has the Kyubi's chakra been drawn from this whole time?I back tracked and went to the very well put and reliable media. And this is how I understand it. Alright, naruto's dad, used the demon seal to help him split the chakra, he pulled out the Yin, and via the Demon seal, he had it placed in the scroll that was entrusted to the Frog and the rest of it's caretakers. It was never in Minato to begin with, he just used his own body and the Demon Seal as a conversion conduit. The rest of the chakra, the Yang chakra was sealed along with the Kyubi into Naruto. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 why would you say half was in a scroll? you're confusing me. half was placed in minato and sealed in the dead demons seal, the other half was sealed within naruto. the frog he summoned, acted as the key to the eight trigram seal he used on naruto. Quote
*V Guyver Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Well not so much the scroll, since it's seal for the chakra. Sorry for confusing you. What I meant is that naruto's always had access to half the Chakra of the Kyubi. After all if both the Yin and Yang were sealed away, than what the heck was naruto using whenever he used the tailed beast chakra... fumes, like that of a car hrunning on fumes. Obviously not. He's always had the Yang since it was sealed in him with the Kyubi. When Naruto unlocked the scroll seal to the other half, the Yin was released, thus we get that yellow chakra enveloped naruto now. Minato sealed it in himself but only to transfer and seal it, he didn't keep any of the chakra like we originally thought from the manga. Does that make more sense? Maybe i'm in the wrong, I've been proven wrong plenty of times before, hoping I'm not. Damn, I wish Naruto wouldn't be so confusing at times. XD Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 I still don't see why you say that. the half that was sealed in naruto and the other half was sealed in minato. that half stayed sealed in minato, the half that was sealed in naruto, stayed in naruto. (except the tiny amount inside the kin and gin brothers. ) I think what you are saying here is that you don't see how naruto could use kyuubi's chakra if it was sealed inside him... well this was explained many times, the seal was not airtight and it got weaker over time. don't you remember the first encounter with orochimaru? orochimaru himself said the seal had gotten weak and that is when he 'slammed the door shut' on kyuubi chakra and make naruto totally weak again. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 spoiler for chapter 631 - I am very upset that Minato can use kyuubi mode. this is all kinds of wrong. We have watched Naruto develop to become such an amazing hero, going so far as to develop a rapport with kyuubi in a way only killer bee had previously seemed able to do. Naruto had been through so much and along comes Minato and he just does the same thing like it was nothing. it really makes Naruto seem like a chump. I was really excited when he arrived, I thought it was really awesome and i thought we could rave about it and celebrate... but all that was overshadowed by him upstaging Naruto like that. nice way to be a dad, make your son look like a chump. Asshole. 1 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Come to think of it now, it's different. Naruto has 3 thick black stripes on his face after the basic version. He can step it up a notch. that comes from the trust he has developed. it sort of does make sense that the person who performed that seal in hte first place could control that chakra. Quote
durendal Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 That's the whole point of being an anime dad, you get to be bad@ss and make your son look like an amateur. We've seen Ichigo's (bleach) dad become bad@ass, we have yet to see Luffy's (One Piece) dad become bad@ass, heck even Goku's (Dragon Ball) dad, Bardock, is a complete bad@ass. On another subject, look on Naruto's face, classic. Quote
