*Jess♥ Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 perhaps zwei comes after W? or... well... since zwei is german for 2 and double is also 2, it may just be one of the names they were playing around with. Quote
durendal Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Okay, so W is a Kamen rider that is composed of 2 persons (Shoutaro & Philip)? Just like Symmetrical docking in Gaogaigar. Quote
Guest DekaZwei Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 or like DC's firestorm. and ya jus know they are gonna use the plot device of, one of the 2 guys not being around when W is needed, lol. and moar pics fer yer eyes lovin the old skool silver cape/scarf he has goin on at the back Quote
durendal Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 You know, that scarf was one of the Kamen Rider Trademarks that never made it to the Heisei riders. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Well, maybe not to the Rider suit themselve but it was revived slightly with Wataru as he was never without wearing one while in human form in Kamen Rider Kiva. Actually, there was one Heisei Rider that wore a scarf. It was the KR Blade Clone in the Kamen Rider Blade special. Quote
durendal Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Yeah, well the scarf was a trademark for the showa riders. It would be cool if they would revive it. The scarf would look cool especially when they are riding their bike. In the latest Kamen Rider incarnations, I seem to notice that they ride their bike a lot less. Which for me kinda defeats the purpose of calling them Kamen Rider. Their bike is supposed to be part of their arsenal, not just some jalopy they can get around town with. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 guys, a lot of the newer riders wore scarfs when not in their armour. i remember especially ryoutarou. and the others did at least once, I am pretty certain. Quote
Bobby Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 And let's not forget the scarf Wataru got from Nago as a sling due to the injury he got. Quote
Bobby Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Here are some casting rumors about the secondary characters that I got from a friend of mine. Hence the links; Hikaru Yamamoto, probably the token female character like Natsumi, or Hana. Hiroshi Miyauchi, a toku legend known for playing V3, AoRanger, Big One, Zubat, and his supporting roles in Winspector, Solbrain (same role as Winspector), and Ohranger. Rumored to be playing some kind of a pool hall manager, the hall itself acting as this series' version of the Hikari Studio, Milk Dipper, etc. Meibi Yamonouchi, previously played Rin/Lunagel in Magi, role unknown. Bobby Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 From right, Cyclone Joker form, Luna Trigger form and Heat Metal form. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Jokingly on the Luna and Heat forms, Kuuga and DiEnd called and they want their weapons back, lol. I'm starting to like this form as design as well. It's actually simple in base design which means grat fro flexibility and basic movement. I'm just wondering how he'll perform his Rider kick. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 More pics and site links. The pics are in the links but I'm posting them anyway so you can just look at them if you don't want to view the site links. http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/double/ http://www.toei.co.jp/tv/w/index.html Quote

Tales Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 (edited) The homophobic in me sings the song: "When a Man loves.... another man....." becos W is two guys uniting into one. How far has Kamen Rider fallen will just have to wait and see. Edited August 8, 2009 by Tales Quote
Guest CompleteDeka Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 this new trailer for W is very nice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ul4erF7DVK0&hl=en&fs=1 Quote
durendal Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Shows not started but the toys are already available in the market. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I'm really looking forward to this. I think the change in style will be really interesting. whenever I see this it makes me think of Takeshi Hongo. Tales, may I suggest you take this with a fresh perspective? I just wouldn't want any pessimism spoiling other people's enjoyment. sometimes when a person slates something so much, it makes the people who read it feel bad. I don't want anyone to feel bad so please just give it a chance to shine on it's own merits. Quote
Bobby Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Double looks like an interesting Kamen Rider. Wonder how he'll execute his main Rider Kick. Quote
