Toku Warrior Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 And discoveries are made by accident. Just trying to show ya a way from watching things on old pyramid documentaries. A lot of the best things found in them were discovered by complete accident. Anyway, you could just ahve it where that once they decifer the symbols, it tells them about what's in there. You could also have it to where the PsyBelt emits a type of low resonating frequency that one of their instruments picks up on. They could here sounds coming from behind the door. Hell, they could even see something like a statue that looks suspicsious, causing them to mess with it which ends up opening the door to the PsyBelt. Like I said, I'm going by what I saw in Kuuga and from what I've seen on documentaries based around the Egyptian pyramids. Now would that be something that they deciphered from the symbols? Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 In the end I'm just trying to help ya out Bobby by giving you more ideas so as to help broden Medulla's playing field. In the end, it's still your story so you do what you feel would be best for it. Quote
Bobby Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 I'll go with the unreadable symbols that need to be deciphered like you suggested. Quote
Bobby Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 I've written the first scene. If anyone wants to read it, send me an e-mail. About to write the next scene. Quote
Bobby Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 Am having some serious writer's block right now. I don't know what the next scene should be. Any suggestions??? The first scene introduces Stella and the Medulla Shrine where the belt is discovered, with the room where the Psychosians were sealed away being nearby but undiscovered. The second scene introduces Brian & his girlfriend Valerie. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Hmm....Bobby, e-mail me the first scene and the notes ya have of what ya want to happen in the whole episode and I'll see what I can suggest. Quote
Bobby Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 Okay. The first two scenes will be PDFed for ya. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Got the e-mail. I'll read over them soon and let you know what I think. Quote
Bobby Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 Okay. I want to have this story, and a cover for it, finished before the end of January so I can give a copy of it to my friend Sarah. Quote
Bobby Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 I still haven't figured out what the next scene should be. I want to work on this story more this weekend since we got A LOT of snow. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Hope you're doing ok in that blizzard. I should have some ideas for ya by tomorrow. Quote
Bobby Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 I took some pictures with my cell & camera. Will forward ya the cell shot. Okay. Quote
Bobby Posted December 21, 2009 Author Posted December 21, 2009 I'm still stumped as to what the next scene should be. A friend suggested a bowling alley but I don't think it's a good idea. What would happen that's important to the story??? Quote
Bobby Posted December 21, 2009 Author Posted December 21, 2009 Might as well go back to the shrine. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Sorry Bobby. I, unfortunately, didn't have time to fully go over it and think of anything. Christmas at work is seriously working me hard. I'll be pulling around 50-60 hours just myself at the store. Actually, here's my supposed schedule for the week of now until Sunday. Mon - On call (was off until someone went and got called in at an earlier time at their second job) Tue - OFF Wed - 11 PM to 7 AM Thur - 3 PM to 1 AM Fri - 3 PM to 7 AM ( a full 16 hour shift with no switch over time in between) Sat - 11 PM to 7 AM Sun - 11 PM to 7 AM I'll be sleeping all day Monday next week just to recover. But I will try and post my thoughts sometime when I have time within the week. Quote
Bobby Posted December 21, 2009 Author Posted December 21, 2009 I figured it'd be for the best late last night to go with having the Psychosians unleashed. So we decided that their original forms will barely visible quicksilver apparitions, right??? How about they have some electricity surging around them since they feed on the electrical impulses & other stuff in the brain??? Good luck in recovering. About to e-mail you my schedule for this week. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 You mean like the electrial power discharges that SSJ 2 and 3 from DBZ/GT express from their power? Their bodies discharge bolts of electricity becaue of their raw power. It sounds like a good idea. I did read the first few things ya wrote in the e-mail and it has a nice beginning premise to it. Going back to the temple with the Psychocians breaking free is a good idea for the next scene. Quote
Bobby Posted December 22, 2009 Author Posted December 22, 2009 Thanks. I figured I'd introduce some more characters named after CSI characters in that scene. But they're minor. Quote
Bobby Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 Just realized that Brian needs to do something to activate his powers besides have the belt materialize & putting his fingers on his head. Quote
Bobby Posted January 2, 2010 Author Posted January 2, 2010 Still stumped on what Brian should do to activate his powers. Am working on the scene where the Psychosians will be unleashed. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Well, I've done some thinking about what he should do. so how about this? Since Medulla is a Rider based on the brain with Kaijin that attack human minds, this should be interesting. You could have it where the power of the belt begins to surge through his body while the aura from the Psychoscian causes him to start to have a very powerful migrain. the pain becomes so severe that he holds his head in his hands. Het gets up, screaming in pain while tears flow from his eyes. Now either one of two things can happen: 1) have him band his head hard against a wall, which in tern sneds a type of mental impact stimulation to the surge of power coming from the belt, which could be taken as a enemy blow to the head. the surge of power erupts and he transforms into Medulla, Blank Form. Blank Form as he needs the full Psychoscian contract for the Brain Form. 2) Have him throw his head back, eyes completely white, while screaming at the top of his lungs. Since this is his first transformation it should be slightly painful for him. He losses consciousness for a brief moment while his body is enveloped in a violet colored light. When he awakens he sees things a bit differently and looks at a broken window to see himself standing there as Medulla, Blank Form or as Medulla, Brain Form. Got those ideas after watching the Guyver movies. I also came across a good Japanese song that could either be used as a good opening or personal character/ED theme for Medulla. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFfeYcawmsI Quote
Tales Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 the head banging sounds horrid.... he could damage his head. I think number 2 is better. Quote
Bobby Posted January 3, 2010 Author Posted January 3, 2010 The first transformation is gonna be an involuntary reflex like Kuuga accessing Growing Form in episode one. It might be a little painful. But not much. The transformations after that will be neither painful or involuntary. So how would he activate it voluntarily??? The Riders of this century, minus the Oni Riders, did something to their belts to activate their powers. Kuuga hit a switch on his left side with both hands. Agito hit the buttons on his sides. Ryuki/Dragon Knight put his deck into his belt. Faiz put his phone into the jack and slammed it down. Blade pulled a switch. Kabuto placed the Zecter on his belt. Den-O waved a pass. Kiva placed Kivat on his belt. Decade inserted a card and pressed the sides in. And Double places the Gaia Memories into the slots and locks them in place. And the purple form is his first & main form like Kiva. He doesn't need his three Psychosian partners to complete his main form. Plus, it would make the introduction of Tectum Form a little weird. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Well, for a voluntary transformation.....he could do one of 3 things. 1) Have him do what Agito does. 2) the front of the buckle could possibly open up (Leangle and the Blade movie Riders), causing the transformation. Have him insert a small circular disc into the buckle from the top. The disc could be warn as a pendant. This has been seen in the series, Armor Hero, when the people transform. Here's a clip to get a small idea. Start at point '1:29' up until '2:43'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QMHJDHUGmc Quote
Bobby Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 When the Wolf Psychosian attacks Brian, the belt materializes and he does something accidentally to transform. It's out of reflex. Next episode, he properly transforms with the right movements as he says "KAMEN RIDER!". Wicked clip. Quote
