i can't help but wonder how many people may be put off reading your blog by your page updates.

it's your choice what you put in your blog of course, but i was thinking if you want people to read it then it might not be a good idea to update so often about your page count?

what do you think?

I don't want to be a downer or anything, if you find it satisfying then by all means continue. thats what its all about at the end of the day, having fun :)

I certainly do find it satisfying; every page is a milestone, now. I've never written a story this long, before. It's kind of fun to celebrate my progress in a more public space. This is, after all, my blog. ;)

I think that the original purpose of a blog is to keep track of your own personal activities. it just so happens that there are people interested in reading the activities of other people. Blogs are something like an online diary that are open to the public. I myself don't see the merits of having a blog, but for others, this is another avenue on how they express themselves. Over the years, blogging have evolved into a form of information transfer, which somehow transformed the intention of bloggers to give updates instead of keeping track, which puts pressure on the writter to write much more interesting topics for fear of losing readers.

Do pardon my intrusion.

Well, I've always used the phrased "double-voiced" to reffer to two people shouting the same thing at once.

Thanks for the translation, Durandal.

Here's the next bit:

"All we know, is that they come down to Earth as seed-pods just like this, which are then buried in the soil by those creatures you and D-Two keep destroying. That's all that we know, right now."

Ahem, continuing from the other thread, since it's not my place to create a new thread, I will instead place this here.

確認したのはこのようにシードポードで地球を降りるといずれお前えとディーツーを破壊続ける生物で土に埋める。今はそれだけだ。

"Kakuninshita no wa kono you ni shido podo de chikyuu wo oriru to izure omae to di-tsu wo hakai tsuzukeru seibutsu de tsuchi ni umeru. Ima wa sore dake da."

Hey, Durandal, this is the first time I remember seeing you on my blog. I think this is a pretty good place to carry on with that translation, since it is a personal project.

Here's the next part:

“That’s all?” Shinya asked, seeing that Takaya was too busy glaring at the tanks filled with immature tekkapods to notice that there was someone talking to him.

Well, you'd be surprised that this is my 18th post on your "blog". And yes, this might be a good avenue for us to continue with our little undertakings.

"それだけ?" シンヤと言った、タカヤは忙しいに未熟テッカポッドの一ぱいタンクをにらみ付ける、誰もの話すは気付くなかった。

"Sore dake?" Shinya to itta, Takaya wa isogashii ni mijuku TEKKAPODO no ippai Tanku wo niramitsukeru, daremo no hanasu wa kizukunakatta.

I'm pressuming that the tank you're referring to here is a "container" and not a "battle vehicle". If it is the latter, then simply replace "Tanku" with "Sensha".

Wow, the 18th, huh? That's interesting. I guess I haven't been paying attention, then.

Here's the next bit:

“But now you two, who know the name and purpose of these organisms, have come here. You say that these creatures, Radam, mean to conquer the Earth,” Freeman said, laying his hand on the tank of pods.

"でも、今生物の名前と目的が知る二人がここにきて。 このラダムは地球を支配するだと。" フリーマンが言った、ポッドのタンクを手触り.

Demo, ima seibutsu no namae to mokuteki ga shiru futari ga koko ni kite. Kono RADAMU wa chikyuu wo shihai suru dato. FURIMAN ga itta, PODDO no TANKU wo tezawari.

Thank you muchly, Durandal.

Here's the next bit:

“Is there anything else that you can tell me about them? What are the Radam, anyway? How is it that you and your brother can become Tekkaman Blade and Tekkaman Varis, when you both have the same physical structure as an ordinary human being?”
