*Kenji Murakami Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 Things seem to have picked up now, at least. On another note, this is kind of late news, but I've started transcribing the written pages of my Guyver fanfics into the computer. So that's kind of fun. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 16, 2009 Author Posted June 16, 2009 Mom and I have just finished whipping up a homemade cheesecake; I can smell it baking in the oven even now. P: I love cheesecake. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 oh! so you can actually MAKE a cheesecake? i thought they came ready made in space canisters, where they are cloned from the original cheesecake king. i'll have to try and make a cheesecake! i never thought about it before. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 16, 2009 Author Posted June 16, 2009 Yep, cheesecakes can be made just as easily as any other types of food: you just need a good recipie and all the ingrediants. Mine was light, fluffy and sweet. Very tasty, if I do say so myself. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 I've never actually watched this video through - it makes me a bit dizzy, actually - but I love the song. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 I'm currently watching a playthrough/commentary on Kingdom Hearts; it's fairly interesting, the gameplay seems pretty fun, and the guys making the video clearly know what they're doing. So that's nice. On a completely unrelated note, I've got three more pages of my Guyver fanfic written out in pen, sitting on the computer desk next to me, so that's really nice. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 have you never played kingdom hearts? it's a very good fun game Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 Well, it looks that way from the footage I'm watching, but I don't have the right hardware to play it. Unless it's been released for the PC. Still, the gameplay looks great; the rendering, too. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 I just realized: I've been a member of this forum for almost three years now. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 wow! that's awesome do you mean this specific forum, or simply guyverboard in general? Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 This forum in general; I joined in December of 2007. So, it's been a bit over two years since I first joined Japan Legend, but I don't quite remember when I joined the Guyverboard. Quote
durendal Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 It's good to know that there are members who stays this long with the community. Does this mean there will be a party in commemoration for your three years of activeness? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 well i just ate some cake... and i can drink some alcohol as well. I got no problem with it. and i am currently singing happy birthday. now i am cheering. and now my dad is trying to get off with my mums sister. why does this always happen ... [emote=onion]why[/emote] Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 I think your family is just kind of weird that way, Ryuki. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I think your family is just kind of weird that way, Ryuki. my mum doesn't have a sister hmm, maybe this is a british thing... it's a party stereotype, kind of a joke. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 And I'd know that, because... You're a real card, Ryuki. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 well i didn't know if it was exclusively british. it could have been well known in america. i don't live there so i don't know what you know or what you don't know. what does card mean? Quote
durendal Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Sorry to butt in, but I don't get it. Both running off and the card thing. The card thing I can somewhat understand but not entirely sure. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 it's a joke about how, at parties, many middle aged men get so drunk that they become unfaithful. i thought it was worldwide but i think i was mistaken. Quote
durendal Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Ah, so alcohol is involved. Then that makes sense. I guess I didn't quite understand the statement. I though you were the one who's drunk. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 I don't know much about drinking parties; I don't really like to go to them, and the few times I've tried alcohol, I've hated it. I've never really seen the point of getting drunk, anyway; if I'm going to have a good time, I at least want to remember it afterward. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 this is the kind of thing is what i'm talking about. all family and friends. oh and i didn't realise but "getting off with" is an expression that means "making out". I think that must be exclusively british as well. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 Ah, that makes a bit more sense then. I thought you meant something like "getting off on", which usually refers to masturbation. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 It's all right. Man, it's windy today. I wish the cord on those stupid windchimes would just snap already; I'm getting really sick of listening to them. Quote
