Yes, it was extremely hot in that costume. The armor was heavy, and the bodysuit and cape were both made of polyester.

WOW! Thats cool kenji! I wish I had a guyver costume like that! Unfornately for me though, I wont be able to go as any character from my #1 favorite anime. No, i'll be going to Sanjapan most likely as captain han as I said before. I bet though that swirlingvortexofdoom and joan, and others will be taking pictures too. They probably load them up, but we'll see.

I like the pic's Kenji. Very nice costume and I feel for ya on the heat wave. I'm currently trying to find out where the nearest anime and tokusatsu conventions are near my area. I want to go to a TokuCon as a Kamen Rider...hopefully as Decade. Just need to lose some weight, build a bit of body muscle and get a suit made.

Polyester? Just be glad you weren't wearing any fiberglass armor like the Guyver-Guy with that heatwave.

that is a nice panting. Very good depth of feel to it.

Thanks. Well, if the polyester wasn't bad enough, that bulky armor was made of plaster, and covered in at least two layers of spraypaint.

But no, I can sketch things almost exactly the same, but I cant draw what things I see in my mind very well at all. Which stinks, because I cant show you all the cool things that I think of. I can only tell you about it with words.
