Gazham Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Looks good. With all these superhero movies out at the moment, perhaps guyver may gain some fans 5 Quote
Gray5 Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Supposed to be region free so I might get this even though after just rewatching it today I forgot how bad it really was lol. Quote
H222G981 Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 (edited) I wonder if if the directors cut is extended..... XD Edited September 18, 2016 by Finch 1 Quote
Bio-Boosted Dude Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Like the sound of that little booklet. I'm surprised they've gone through this much effort for this film though. You'd think they'd just skip straight to Dark Hero. I can only hope that when they eventually release that on blu ray they give it similar treatment. 1 Quote
Sully Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 I'm hoping it does well enough they do Dark Hero and we get special features from the Japanese LD and possible more.... 1 Quote

Shin Mefilas Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) The box art is wonderful! Edited September 24, 2016 by The Tyrant King 2 Quote
UnitG Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 i dont like the box art at all...looks like amature drawing. i prefer the germany version limeted edition i got. 3 Quote
Sully Posted September 25, 2016 Author Posted September 25, 2016 I agree that is a nicer "Guyver" cover. But It's the special edition contents I'm after with this release (as there actually has something compared to the old US DVD release). While it's not the best cover, it's still cool and better than having Mark Hamill on the cover. 1 Quote
Bio-Boosted Dude Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Have to agree with Unit G on the cover art. I suppose if I can't enjoy the quality of the art, I at least like what it represents - that they were willing to commission an artist to do some brand new artwork for the film. 1 Quote
UnitG Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) enother funny thing is that the gore parts of the blueray movie are lower quality, i wonder why, mybe those parts could not put in full HD because they do not have those parts on films ? i'm wondering i remember my vhs did't have gore parts... bye the way the movie on blueray is super! u notice stuff u didn't on vhs Edited September 27, 2016 by UnitG Quote
Gazham Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Perhaps the gore would have to have had special effects added, when brought in to HD, they looked terrible, so we're left as they are? I'm hoping to get it soon, once my bank balance looks a little better! 1 Quote
Enzyme-eternal Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Yay! I know this film is pretty bad in general, let alone as a Guyver adaptation but this was the first Guyver thing I ever saw so I'll be getting this for nostalgia reasons alone. 1 Quote
Sully Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 Mine arrived today as I was leaving for work! I've not had a chance to even open the wrapper. Tonight I'll put some pictures up. Funny thing is at the moment I'm going through a Star Wars rewatch of the second produced trilogy before I go to see Rogue One this Thursday morning (at 12:01 am!). The thing I find funny is I'll be watching a movie tonight which is most famous for having Mark Hammel in it and that he doesn't like Quote
