Sounds good. I am looking forward to Guyver Zoalord out of control. I am curious on how he betrays G'Kor (or does he?)

umm simple answer, this will ulimatly not be answered in Part 3. But why do you guys think it can't be the other way around and that the Guyver Zoalord can't be betrayed?

Posted

Well there can be a few reasons. But from what I gather why would G'Kor create a specially made Guyver unit for Reeve to use to become a Guyver Zoalord and then betray him. Especially when Reeve is now a Guyver Zoalord? Unless G'Kor is suicidal, I doubt that unless G'Kor has a plan for something else that we have not seen yet.

once everything is desroyed and the plan kinda followed. Do you think G'kor would trust him and think of a long term future?

G'Kor had a Unit made for him. Don't you think he could have done more than just remove the Limitation device? Remember he is shagging a master Gen scientist with access to WG research. It's not like he doesn't have great contacts.

Well it does make sense to have a backup plan in case Reeve goes against G'Kor. Some sort of self destruct inside the control medal. Obviously no matter amount of power the Guyver Zoalord would have he can't defend against any physical alterations in the control medal.

I must admit I'm saddened to think that the most powerful menace in the history of the WG universe ended up being betrayed by some crazed Gen politician, just a foolish expendable pawn set up for a fall after he'd served his purpose...Kinda lessens his image as the greatest threat humanity and the Gen ever faced if that makes any sense, I was kinda hoping he'd turn on G'kor, obviously not killing him since G'kor's alive in the modern timeline but I liked the idea of G'kor over estimating his control over Reeve & getting bit in the ass for it (and then Jason comes along and cleans up the arrogant bastard's mess before it destroys the universe).

Basically, what I always liked about Reeve was that he was literally the biggest mistake the Gen ever made, their worst fear realized, something that even the Manga characters feared and sought to prevent the creation of at all costs. He was the ultimate living weapon come back to bite them in the ass for all their acts of cruelty in their pursuit of power & masquerading as gods, some even going so far as to think themselves gods I imagine. So yeah, I liked the idea of G'kor's plan backfiring on him better than the Guyver Zoalord turning out to be a tool :(

Good advice Zeo, but either way, I wouldn't let Reeve turning out to be a tool ruin the Warrior Guyver universe for me, too much great action and story telling as well as good memories to give up on it (first began reading it back in highschool, and was more than overjoyed to hear it had started up again years later)

Never said that was how it was going to end for the Guyver Zoalord. Basically if G'kor got what he wanted that would have being a possible end result. In the end Lex Luthor isn't Supermans greatest enemy because he's super strong. He tricks him all the time going for his weekness. G'Kor isn't stupid, he planned this event. This is not to say Reeve isn't a fool either. He knows he's under some sort of control and knows G'Kor planned something (he wouldn't know what but as I pointed out it is somewhat guessable). They both know each other for over 100 years by the time of Reeve's activation. Both waiting for the right moment.

Warrior Guyver is what messses this up. If not for him going back in time and the Paradox the story would be a lot different. As James said, wait to see the finished product before jumping the gun. I've no plans to change the battles between GZ and WG other than adding more to it not taking it away by having G'Kor blow up his control medal... That is a sucky ending.

On other news, I'm getting closer to the end of Part 3, there is still more I want to add to it, but we're not talking about the amount done in part 2. I still think the story will end at about 10K words (most likely slightly under). At the moment it's just under 8k words. The Feb update with this part of the story is looking more and more likely.

Update time, I'm at the last stage of the Time War Part 3 story. Basically at the point Solom will fall and be frozen. Pretty much will end shortly after that as the Gen Leadership realise they've no one left to save them. Taking a rough guess 2 weeks from now at most, maybe one. the next part of the story won't have any pre story, it will go right to Warrior Guyver in the present time of the story.

Thanks again for the update, Sully. I know I speak for everybody that we are simply waiting with baited breath for the next morsel of goodness. It is going to be great, I know it, and it will help us all get a better understanding of the WG universe, as well as the behind the scenes workings of the Gen and the incidents of the past. Much obliged, man. :)

By the way, anyone know why my typing comes out darker in the postings? Curiouser and curiouser... ;)

p.s. by the way, Juggernought:

;):):D:roll:8-)

That enough for ya? Later.

Awesome, I look forward to seeing the massive amount of pwnage Reeve is about to unleash and of course who shall answer the call to oppose the Guyver Zoalord, epic battles are sure to follow! The earth's darkest hour since the Uranus tried to destroy it  ...Gonna be good

I look forward to massive pwnage from Guyver Zoalord Reeve!:twisted::twisted:

Definitely. I always felt that the original storyline did make the Guyver Zoalord seem weaker than he should be.

Time War part 3 is complete (though needs to be reviewed for myself just to see if it reads right). At a guess I'd say this coming Friday I'll be uploading the story on Friday/Saturday.

I've started on what his part 4, and by started I mean realised I might have to re-think where I place the modren version of the story, back in 1999 or in 2011. Tech wise it makes a big differnce. Overall I'm thinking 2011 and placing XDay around the time of the start of the financal crash around 2007. Turning GW Bush into a zoanoid in the fiction also soounds fun :P

First, this weekend may have a new story from Sully. SWEETNESS! :D

Second, GW Bush a Zoanoid!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Hilarious!

Aw, man, now I know that this site is the place to be.

I'm debating that with my inner nerd. Fact is when the guy was shown in the comic it wasn't Bush... but by placing it in modren times why not?

Why the heck not? Would make for an interesting moment, although in the 05 anime, the president sounded like Bill Clinton when confronted by his aide in his true Zoanoid form.:mrgreen:

GW Bush: My fellow Americans, I am here to announce that I am terminating my term as President prematurely to introduce you all to the man who shall lead our great nation on a new path to an even brighter future, it is with great pride that I introduce to you the new leader of our country and all the world, ladies and gentleman, I give you Lord Alkanphel! "mutates into a Ramotith as he finishes speaking and the big man teleports onto the stage"

Alkanphel: Greetings my new subjects, all I have to say to you is...All your bases are belong to me! Mahahahaha! Just kidding, but seriously, I own you all

 , well, maybe not exactly like that, but the president of the United States suddenly mutating into a zoanoid while making a big speech about the "Dawn of a New Age" would be pretty cool, especially if a Zoalord appeared shortly thereafter to inform the Nation of its new "policies" as the United States of Chronos U.S.!

Talk about culture shock. The Pres is a pawn, and our new boss is a guy who messes with our minds and our genes on a regular basis to avenge himself on the ones who deserted him. Lovely.:mrgreen:
