Armageddon Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Best way to think of a Lycanlord is this...Give a Werewolf a sniff of Coke, pump him full of pcp, then give him body armor and a rocket launcher and send him into a crowded area. Lycanlords aren't the brightest of creatures, but they sure are deadly. Zagam is partly Lycanlord, which gives him a more beastial visage and demeanor, as well as different culinary tastes. But unlike most Lycanlords, he and Baphomet are intelligent. But even the cunning lucifer still likes to tear someone is half for the sheer pleasure of it. You remind me of a quote I once saw: "Imagine a serial killer, armed with lasers and missles with a near indestructible body. And he is loving every minute of it." Yes, different tastes indeed. During the fight with Oberon, he was a literal vampire. Some times Allen I think you are seriously twisted, maybe even like a homicidal murder but hey who knows. Just on Thursdays, your safe....For now... What do you do on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday? Quote
largo Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Armageddon What do you do on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday? I don't want to know what he does the other days of the week. Quote
Armageddon Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Armageddon What do you do on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday? I don't want to know what he does the other days of the week. Heh heh heh...The dark lord himself has to have other hobbies stashed in his basement... Quote
Armageddon Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Armageddon I'm scared hold me. *wraps Largo in a straight jacket and drags him down into W'Kar's basement, whistling marrily." On a serious note, it was mentioned that Zagam had different food tastes. Like what? The blood he sucked from Oberon or the flesh of tortured? Quote
Juggernought Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 Mixture of both as far as i can tell... Quote
Armageddon Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Mixture of both as far as i can tell... That's scary. Just think what Zagam would do if he met Hannibal Lector. A Lycanlord that was an actual cannibal before being transformed! Quote
largo Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Oh, you guys, evil idea! What if Hannibal Lector got his hands on one of those Azu what'cha call them units that the creators of the GWOTG uses? Quote
W'Kar Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Oh you guys evil idea Hannibal Lector got his hands on one of those Azu what cha call um units that the creators of the GWOTG uses. It's Azathoth, and they aren't Units as much as they are creatures made of Guyver organism. And Sedah, from Flight of an Angel, could be considered more of a Hannibal character, sans cannibal. Like I said, Zagam is more like a werewolf who is in control of themself and intelligent as hell. Quote
Juggernought Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 Yup...basically think of this. Think of a pittbull that's been trained and bred to fight, maim, and kill. Now with all that level of aggression, etc. give it a human mind capacity of thinking, decision making....now stick yourself in the cage with a creature like that. You'd be screaming for death to come quick. Quote
Thunder Demon1472669266 Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I should think that Anubis' opposition ought to be thinking of ways to rid themselves of Anubis. Not running and hiding. Of course when the blood hounds have an appetite for your flesh, that would be a good motivator to run, I suppose. Best way to think of a Lycanlord is this... Give a Werewolf a sniff of Coke, pump him full of PCP, then give him body armor and a rocket launcher and send him into a crowded area. But, giving a werewolf a nuke would be infinitely worse. Which, if you tacked a Guyver or Guyver-like organism onto a Lycanlord that is essentially what would happen, I imagine. I would imagine your inspiration for the Lycanlords were the Lycan Werewolves themselves? Quote
W'Kar Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 But, giving a werewolf a nuke would be infinitely worse. Which, if you tack a Guyver or Guyver-like organism onto a Lycanlord, that is essentially what would happen, I imagine. I would imagine your inspiration for the Lycanlords were the Lycans and Werewolves themselves? Yes, to a degree. It was actually a monster movie, I can't remember the name of. They were clearly inspired by werewolves except the creatures were a tad more reptilian. Quote
Juggernought Posted February 23, 2007 Author Posted February 23, 2007 So also to a certain degree.... We can view Zagam's human form as looking somewhat akin to the lycan/vampire hybrid Michael from Underworld? Quote
W'Kar Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Most of the more intelligent Lycanlord types (Zagam, Baphomet, Yaksha...etc and others to come) can be viewed with those sorts of qualities. There will be editing done on Zagams human appearance from the fic but your idea isn't far off. Quote
largo Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 That was a pretty cool movie, though I thought that ending to the second one was kind of lame, since she just becomes a vamp that can go in the sun light, woo. But I thought that Zagam's human form would look different than that. I thought he'd have a more reptillian look to him, maybe look like a more grown up version of Mor'de (been a while since I've seen or read the books so SP?) son from Children of Dune after he merges with the Sand Worm larva. Quote
largo Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I don't know, I just think of reptiles maybe like a raptor. He has reptilian eyes, and over selective spots like the forearms. Maybe like scalely guantlets or something? Who knows that's just what I see when I think of Zagam in human form. Quote
W'Kar Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Spots and reptile eyes, huh. Cool, but not Zagam. Quote
largo Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Well that's the image I got from both how he acts and how his armored form looks. Quote
Thunder Demon1472669266 Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I figure you add a bit of hair, claws and sharper teeth and you're good. Here's a question... Are you refering to the stereotypical lycan and vampire? Quote
largo Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Yeah, I know what I think that they are. Juggernought referenced that they might look like the one's from Underworld? So, until Allen releases the offical data on him we'll just have to settle with what our own imaginations can imagine for him and the other characters we're still not sure on. Quote
W'Kar Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 You also have to remember I developed the Lycanlord 'Before' Underworld came out. So, nah nah nah nah nah! Quote
Juggernought Posted April 13, 2007 Author Posted April 13, 2007 Getting into something like that is more trouble than its worth... Very, very, very, very rarely do people who claimed to have originally create something, after it has been "officially" released by someone else, has won. Quote
W'Kar Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I wasn't plannin' on it, geez. After all, the Lycans can't really be considered Lycanlords. I just used the term because Zoa, well, didn't do them justice. Quote
