As for Pokemon Colloseum... You can only collect 52 pokemon in the game.. you start with 2, you get 1 frebie, have to STEAL 48 from other trainers (as wild pokemon don't seem to exist in this part of the world, dispite the fact that almost everyone has atleast one tame pokemon), and the last pokemon can only be aqquired once you get all the others..

The plot is too short, the lack of variaty is a major blow to replayability.. and some of the villians are FRUITS! I mean.. Mirror B is some kind of Mexican-Pop-Disco Diva.. with a bi-color fro larger than his entire body..

Here is a short top 10 list of how colloseum could have been better.

10. MORE POKEMON

9. You CANNOT capture Pikachu.. thats got to violate the 10 commandments there... "Thou shalt always capture pikachu" If you could capture Pikachu, the game would be so much better its not funny.

8. Get rid of Mirror B... Seriously..

7. Get rid of the female Bodybuilders...

5. Put Mew in the game.. that would have ben so much better..

The game features the G/S era starters (cyndaquil, chikorita, totodile) and the Advance era starters (mudkip, treeko, torchick) but has no appearances of the original starters.. (charmander, squirtle, and Bulbasaur) Come on.. Nintendo.. you could have fit ALL 300 million pokemon in existance on the gamecube disk and STILL have room for that tiny plot you threw at us.. your just being lazy.. Shame Nintendo.. SHAME..

On the plus side.. when you CAN access the trading feature, I think you can send pokemon from collosuem into your Advance games.. pokemon that normally don't exist in the advance carts.. like Tyranitar, Espsion, and Suicune, to name a few.. Not possative, as I haven't gotten that far yet myself.. but here's hoping..

Umm.. yeah.. I'm a pokemon Junkie, and proud of it.. Hopefully this didn't go too offtopic, since people other than myself expressed interest in the game.. Personally, I'd recomend it to be nothing more than a rental to all but the most di-hard fans, or those of you who didn't pre-order it to get the special demo disk with Jirachi on it..

After seeing the preview, Silent Hill 4. The first three were incredible, this one should be no different. That, and KIngdom Hearts; Chain of Memories.

For me it is Xenosaga ep. II all the way. Kindom hearts is great and all, But Xenosaga is for me perfection.

I am also awaiting the sequal to Chaos Legion, and Onimusha Warlords 3.

I also want to get 7 Samurai 20XX. I know it has its faults but I like the hack and slash. I am also awaiting the next Shinobi game. I heard the Kunoichi (or Nightshade as it was called here, Seriously if they were going to rename the game it should have been better than the name of an eggplant), left much to be desired from.

update on graphics are definatley needed. this game needs to be revitalised if a sequel movie is to be made. just so people dont get confused.

i can see it now... cloud and aeris in high detail battles like or above that of ffx.

Statistically the majority of PS1 owners also own a copy of Final Fantasy VII, it was the greatest selller at the time of release and in japan around a third of people who bought it on the day alkso bought a Playstation. A remake is not needed, and if it was made Sakaguchci would not be involved. It would be FFX-2 all over again... but lo' the craving for more is too strong. I often say, leave an open ending and avoid spoiling the peice of art that was originally laid down.

Metal Gear Solid was remade, but withotu Hideo Kojima directing and it shows, not in a bad way, iut was a unique vision that worked. BUT wasn';t anyone confused by the plot? Am i the only onw who has play Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX? As much as I love kpojima story of nuclear and polictical power, I could not stand by with a happy face and see it committed to Hollywood...

I said basically the same thing to him earlier when we were talking on the phone. Hell I almost brought it the day I frist got a PS2 and I didn't know what Final Fantasy was, but I passed it up in favor of Wing Commander 4 (Yes I know, go a head, I deserve the backlash) but still a remake would be good if they could get Sakaguchci to direct it or whatever it was that he did. Because I think it would bring new fans to Final Fantasy and at the same time old fans would certainly buy it, even if it wasn't directed well. I know FFX-2 is (insert bad word) and I still want to buy it.

My #1 pick for most wanted of 2004 would have to be Metroid Prime 2! Can't wait till it comes out in Fall 2004. The storyline surrounds Samus involved in some kind of war between light/dark beings. Not really sure though. I read something from the E3 conv. where they showed a clip of Samus getting thrashed by some alien and being left for dead.
